Cook on medium with baking paper over the top of the bacon as this acts like parchment paper and stops oil from spitting on you. Cook for 5 mins each side or until it’s crispy enough for you . 🔥

ive been adding olive oil to my pasta water for years, but i recently saw an italian chef from a famous brand pasta and spaghetti company in USA, say not to add olive oil as it prevents the sauce sticking to the spaghetti. i mention it for what its worth. 2 hours later - bloody hell. just watched marco pierre white (one of the top chefs in the world) and he adds olive oil to his pasta water. his mother was italian so he must know something about boiling pasta. i guess its six of one and half a dozen of the other lol. i give up.
