My Mum has been making these for decades Grego, and they are awesome. If you want to try any sauce on them it has to be Worchestershire sauce, or as they call it in America..... "woustereshayhestersureshire sauce".
Great stuff Greg'o. I use fresh salmon mince, it doesn't turn to mush as the tinned does and add an egg (yoke only) to the mix for a Benedick flavour. Spread on bread and make a toastie or crumb and fry. 👍🤤😀

Today was the very first day I was walking around coles aimlessly and remembered this video. So Now I’ve made these fish rissoles and they are superb. My only variation is that I’ve tried to use the air fryer in stead of pan frying. It’s not really working out so I’ll go back to Pan frying like you said. Thanks for the ideas Grego!!
Definitely worth a try, did something similar a bottle of chicken tonight alfredo white sauce with cheese and bacon half a whole cooked trout shredded and some pasta wow it was tasty added some baby capers and some parmesan shredded i might try the dill instead when i make tomorrow. 😁👍👍👍

Long time no see, my fault of course, anyhow, interesting recipe with the skin on potatoes and chicken salt. I don't know about adding more salt as the smoked salmon is salty and you added butter, plus salted the potatas, and I would have mashed them first with egg and sour cream, then folded in the onion and salmon. These appear to be more like spud balls/ croquettes blushed with a little salmon but will await the expert verdict in the comments… My fish cake 🍥 offering is 3/4 swimmer, 1/4 binding agent but great cooking, salmon & dill a match made in heav.
