That is not all. Mine eats quail sausages (Reptilinks - look them up) happily. I feed them quail and thawed mice. I tried frog sausages too - they ate them as well. Some weeks they want food every 2 days, and other weeks they want nothing. That is a good thing.

Also aren't they poisonous in the wild due to diet?
My state has no venomous laws except you must have a permit and I believe you can trap exactly one timber rattlesnake (native) and that's it? I believe you also had to document it, but I don't remember if you can keep it? Other than that tho, nothing. Like I think you could legally own any other venomous species and legally it's fine.
4:08 that mouse looks a bit big...
You forgot southern hognose! Great video though.
Yes I did, I’m even part of a southern Hognose group and still forgot.
You can also get newspaper print paper that hasn't been printed on even though the ink that's on newspaper it's completely non-toxic it's made from soy
Yes for sure, just free is better than cheap usually
I was Terrified of snakes I bit the bullet and got a hognose now I’ll be honest I would DIE for my little danger noodle
Are you Canadian?
Wow jk Niagara region
indeed
In Illinois we can't have hoggies unless you get a permit, I just had my permit verified! You're not allowed to propagate/breed them. Though when I get my own home. I intend to get a breeders permit! For any other Illinoisans under 18 and wanting a hognose. You CAN submit a forum to them I was accepted. I believe you all can be too!
In my city they are totally legal but in next town, which literally touches my city, all rear fanged snakes are not legal
Do they like snake jazz??
For some reason, my hognose snake climbs his little tree😩😂
It’s uncommon but not unheard of
@@WickensWickedReptiles wow I didnt know that! Thanks:) and I love to watch your vids!
Missouri Requires a Wildlife Level 1 to have a Hognose

Im in kansas and you can buy them but in my city you can't own hognoses but I can go 15 mins west and buy one and bring it back. They don't really enforce the laws. But its stupid I can't have anything besides like milks corns and kings and balls thats it... it sucks! I want boas and hoggies
