Yeah,I'm going to take some of their conversation from this interview and use it for dialogue for characters discussing inept corrupt police officers in a comic book I'm going to be doing. It's just such great conversation and good dialogue.
Joe doesn't seem mind it when people use things he's said and quote him from the podcast and he even told one animal biologist that he could use something he said on the podcast whenever he talks to people about crocodiles,so I feel like that's different from plagiarism and also for other lines that I'm going to be using from things that people have said in interviews and even posts on UA-cam,I'm getting their permission to use the words and I'll even be citing my sources.
I think Joe and Rob Zombie are so right about cops. They have such a difficult job. They're overworked, underpaid and they need better training-in every aspect-I think that every cop should know how to fight, that should be mandatory.I also think that there should be more stringent screening in place,I think that every cop should know and understand the law, they don't need to be a lawyer or a scholar on law but if you're enforcing it,you should understand it.
I think cops need more training with their guns, they should also know about things like breath control when it comes to using guns, tactics like cover and move and in addition to that, every cop should know ''Verbal Judo''-they need to know how to communicate well with people from different backgrounds and walks of life and they need to know how to read people and how to deescalate a situation so that it doesn't have to accelerate immediately to them going to their gun-and a lot of cops don't have those skills and training that I was talking about and we see what the end result can usually turn out to be.Physical fitness is something else that should be mandatory for cops,I've seen some overweight cops to the point that it's like you can't even believe what you're seeing.
I can't imagine wanting to be a cop.I could never do it and even Special Forces guys like Jocko Willink and Tim Kennedy have said that they could never do the job of a police officer .Obviously, law enforcement has a big problem in America right now.

On the other hand, some of the people I worked with treated the inmates like shit, and it didn't matter what I said to them or the higher-ups, it was just pushed under the rug. Don't forget six innocent cops go sniped in Dallas because of one bad apple in their city.
There is enough liberal pc shit in place to ensure all cops are not only not using excessive force but in many cases scared to do their very job. And no- you have not seen countless videos of cops hunting down unarmed civilians to shoot them for no reason, the ones that make the news are sensationalistic stories. That’s because blacks are so tribal. Anywhere they go they’ll always divide themselves into smaller and smaller groups. The military had gangs too in the early 2000s when they lowered the requirements to join for the Iraq wars. Mexicans and blacks created actual gangs within the military and it got pretty bad. That’s a pretty interesting thing to watch happen. No matter where they go they’ll never work together as one large group, they’ll divide themselves into little tribes. From dividing platoons to entire countries into tribes. The only time I saw white people create any sort of gang in the military was just as a response to blacks and Mexicans and the white gang wasn’t really even a gang it was just a defense.

Police hatred is a distinct difference from a humble town that has very little to no crime, but people are getting pulled over for ultra simple driving infractions. And when they are pulled, 4 squads show up..... (seat belt, one day expired tag sticker, exactly 10 over, etc.....)
Then there are major city cops dealing with very scary people! This, should change your appreciation for them! They have a very difficult and potentially life altering job. Many cities have very serious crime and killings daily. Having zero respect for those types of police officers that police those areas, is ridiculous. They deal with situations that maybe 70% of the police force in the US will never even face. Hence the shity yearly salary. I wish there was a way to change it by location.

Native New Yorker here, late 40's
lived here all my life.. I was around for this riot. This story needs context. Tompkins Square Park was on Ave A and stretched to Ave B. It was a cesspool of homeless drug addicts, heroin mostly. You could walk past people shooting up or shitting out in the open. There were runaways begging in the street and there was a miasma of dirt, chaos and violence that permeated the whole area. The police were there to remove the homeless encampments from the park. The situation had carried on for years. The punks, addicts, drunks, and homeless fought back against the police. They threw urine on them and bags of shit. Eventually the black "mourning bands" that were higher on the shield slid down and the beatdown began. The park got cleaned out by force and children play there now. I like Rob Zombie but the beatings were deserved..His friends easily could have just left the area. It was a long simmering escalation before it got crazy.

Midnight Green have you ever considered that this stuff can happen all the time and you never hear about it because there was no big incident to report about? “Police officer detained for abuse of power” gets a lot less clicks than “cop gets away with abusing minority”. You will never ever be able to completely stomp out people being bad, it can happen anywhere.

Man hit me up when you have a better grasp of the English language. Police on this country have become toxic. It's not the same all over.

@Invert Your Cross riiiiight, that's not a easy Job at all. Alot of people can't work in Emergency Services especially a Law Enforcement Officer. I'd like to see who you would hire for that job go 2 Days without without Police/Sheriffs Dept, see what kinda madness would ensue. God forbid a traffic light go down, dumbasses can't figure out a flashing traffic light at a intersection and Police have to direct them. Same people that get their house broke into or themselves or Familly member gets Murdered/Raped they want the Police there NOW!....but fuck the Police right? Doing a job that a overwhelming amount of people can't even do let alone do what they do in the environment that they do it in these days for the pay they make.
