Omg this is exactly what I would do in an interview in his position of power! Rob read the guy right off the bat and knew he was fake and uninterested. So he really trolled the shit out of him! Love rob for this!!!

I came upon this video completely at random. Just watching some top ten lists, then I see the title and I'm like "yep, definitely gonna watch that". Rob comes off as a really chill dude. He looks almost like he's some kind of a blues/funk fusion /Frank Zappa kind of guy instead of the guy who creates all these nightmare hellscapes that we all love.
He seems chill as hell.

Almost clicked away forgetting why I clicked
I ran into Rob and his wife in a hotel lobby in Billings, Montana. i stopped him and asked for an autograph and he was like, sure! I ran into John 5 asked for his autograph he was like sure one second then got in an elevator and disappeared. John is a great guitar player but a total ass. Rob on the other hand is down to earth and loves his fans.
I have seen Rob Zombie in concert twice, once with Ozzy and once with Alice Cooper, now that's all the bucket list I could ever want. So you may wonder which concert was better, well it was the one with Ozzy because the crowd was off the hook crazy, girls flashing people screaming like animals. The show with Cooper was awesome and kicked ass but the crowd was way tame, even Rob commented that it was different than the last time he was in Billings.
You know, you are the very first person I've heard say ANYTHING bad about J5. I've had two encounters with him and he's a sweetheart, he even remembered me from the first time he had met me! What a bummer it is to hear that you had a bad experience with him :'(
Katelin I agree all I ever heard about J5 was all positive and as a guitar player myself all I have ever heard about him has been good and I have been been a huge fan for the longest time. The thing that got me is he was not busy and actually told me "yeah one sec" while he took a phone call as he did he got on the elevator and that was it never seen him again. Maybe a fluke but I would rather he just told me he had to run. Rob Zombie was completely cool when I ran into him so that made up for the J5 snub. I admire J5's playing immensely but my experience with him was bunk.

The Lords of Salem was a really impressive movie. I always love Rob Zombie films for their wild, almost immature sense of craziness. This one had a slightly different feel to it though. Alot more thought went into it I think, and I just thought he did an amazing job! Love you Rob!

Rob Zombie played at Soundwave Festival in 2011 which is an Australian Music festival in 3 different cities, so ...i dont know why he said he'd never been to a festival before?
He wasn't wrong. When I head "Dead City Radio" and how he kinda raps in that, it reminded me of his sorta rapping stuff in La Sexorcisto like with "Cosmic Monsters Inc" or "Welcome to Planet Mofo"
Then some of the tracks of course were more like his modern sound.
Same with the "Electric Warlock..." album after that. I like that he mixed his old sound with new one.
Still hope that someday he has intense heavy riffs in an album again, like the kind of stuff in Astro Creep's "Blur the Technicolor" or especially "El Phantasmo and the Chicken-Run Blast-o-Rama."
John5 is an incredible guitarist but he should change the sound of his guitar just a tad for the Rob Zombie music so it's more heavy and punchier - and Rob should let him do more shredding because the man can fucking shred like a god.
Rob Zombie is the God of metal!!!!! For sure puts on one hell of a show!!!! Can't wait to see him again!!! It's my passion to meet him one day
