I love how this dude is over 50 and rich still dresses like he is trying to sell you peaches in Austin, TX.
@Matt Beckley Why would that make you sad? Because you realize he is better than you?
@Matt Beckley Don't bother with those idiots. They have this mentality that people have to be "better" than someone. That humanity has this "alpha, beta" complex. In which we do not, that is just a bunch of bullshit. Just fuckin morons trying to intimidate others. Only thing that happens at that point in thinking is you have to be the last human alive ontop of the bones of your extinct race, to truly be better. "I win". These people usually live alone, disliked by everyone or commit suicide. So yeah, don't bother with them.
I wouldn't buy peaches from him.
U would buy that shit
true hippie? folk punk fan? maybe just a bum at heart
Why do all the fucking loopiest musical dudes always seem to be the most down to earth?!
Matthew Hedges because they are very intuned people and are the masters of shock value my friend
Cause they're all aware of people being most of the reasons why they're at the point where they are.
He seems so humble and laid back.
My thoughts exactly
I'm seeing why radio people don't like him, he doesn't have much of a sense humor, that's why they used to shrug him off as a jerk. I don't really have a sense of him being a jerk though
@@darrenthetuber743 he just seems a little uptight and maybe nervous, social anxiety n all that
I gave that guy a 20 out side of the dollar tree yesterday, I’m glad to see he’s doing well for himself now.
Primus sucks
Hardy har haha. Super cool comment dude...
@@prestonbowden1008 i think he’s saying he looks like a bum or a homeless person
😂😂😂😂😂!!!!
Nice! Did ya?
The man is an awesome dude.
He isn't arrogant, he isn't pretentious.
He's just a decent musician talking about his trade.
Bless him, and let him explore his craft.
This dude would back up some young kid with a wildly different style, trying to make a mark.
Good on you, brother.
LowKey LowKey apparently you did not see the video of him being a complete dick to some skater kids a few years back. Look into the whole story, it might just change your perception of rob 👍
He sucks and his musical prowess is even less than mediocre
Didn’t he get into some shit with Marilyn Manson for a long time 😂😂
I like some of his older stuff, but he had some douche moments, like when he told the melvins to stop their soundcheck so he could eat in peace, but hey everyone has his moments
pretty much overrated in everything he's ever done
Saw Rob Zombie at Soundwave 2014. He jumped off the stage and then onto the guard rail, then as everyone tried grabbing for me, he grabbed my hand and kept singing. It was the best thing I've ever experienced at a concert
Cool man! Saw him out in Vancouver with Slayer in the nineties when they opened for Black Sabbath and the original line up.
I was at that gig lol
Best show I ever got to see was White Zombie opening for Pantera in '95!🤘🤘
Robs one of those dudes who looks cooler as he gets older
@Pasha Stroud has hasn’t got a beard style, just grows it out . I used to think the same but he just can’t grow much on the side
Unique. Misunderstood. Fascinating. Art first type of dude.his loyalty to his close family and friends is very rare too. I dig a human being like this.
Rob Zombie sounds a lot different than i thought he would.
His voice reminds me of Howard Hessman - "WKRP" and Jeff "Skunk" Baxter from Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan :)
Bacca_Boi_ definitely not what you'd think after hearing Feed The Gods.
Yes!
Couldn't agree more
He's honestly just a totally sweet dude lol
I've never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Zombie myself, but every interview I see him in, he seems like such a great guy!
Had dinner with his wife and met him later. Very nice couple!
Digital Tour Bus Damn straight. Too bad that most people see him as a clown ot some kind of devil worshipper judging only from his appearance.
A friend of mine bumped into him at an event several years ago, got invited to have dinner with him, and they had a four conversation about music and movies.
Never met in person but was in front row for his show a few weeks after this interview. I'd never seen him in concert before. His band opened for Disturbed and _killed_ them! I won't miss another opportunity to see them live. They put on an awesome show.
+Simple Guy - Who the fuck see's him as a devil worshiper? His stuff is so tame, it's basically pop music.
Wtf is a 'devil worshiper' anyway lol. Americans are so fucking childish. 'The devil' lmao.
I could listen to Rob Zombie all day, he has so many great stories to tell.
Rob has literally the coolest hair and outfits
Rob Zombie's singles in 1999 helped me transition from high school band nerd to extreme metalhead
I remember those days. I was 11,12 in 1999. I was a full blown metal head that year especially after the self titled Slipknot album. I used to say the Rob Zombie was my dad! Shit, I literally just remembered that right now. I loved all of his movies. Not far after that I got into Death and Black & Doom Metal.
One time, at band camp...
If you think rob zombie makes you an “extreme metal head” you need to re-evaluate your life choices
@@braedentaylor5366 it means that after listening to Rob Zombie he/she got into extreme metal music.
@@braedentaylor5366 key word: transition
I trip out how he has such a smooth relaxing voice when he talks but such a raspy dark voice when he sings haha
He has chorus and distortion on his mic when he's performing.
@@boofert.washington2499 nah he just has a "performing voice" and a "normal/ interview voice" he has used the "performing voice" since the beginning of white zombie. Like before they made albums white zombie.
Both voices sexy af!!! 😍😎🤘
He's actually takes preforming/his job extremely serious.
Ones real. The singing is part of an act. Try to understand.
My favorite RZ song is the one where he goes:
"Mmmmmyeeeowwwmamawaaaamyyyeowwhamwham- mwwehhhyeah mwaaa mwwweee mwwaoooo! Yeahhhhhhhhh! Whhhammamammamamweow whaaaamamamwowww YEEEEEEAAAHHHH, 1960- MWYEEEEEAAAAAAH!"
If you’re talking about “thunderkiss ‘65” wouldn’t that be a white zombie song. It wasn’t his solo work. I’m pretty sure this was a joke though and maybe you know that lol
Lmao I felt that😂
@@Mysteriuminiquitatis1998 I'm not sure, but Orin may be like I am. I'm in my 50s, so things are getting harder to remember. Sammy Hagar's vocals are a good example. When I hear him on the radio, I can hardly remember if it's Sammy (solo), Sammy & The Waboritas, Van Hagar, Montrose or Chickenfoot. I just gave up trying.
Black sunshine is BA too. It’s also on La Sexorcisto album/CD
Think it’s the song directly following Thunderkiss 🤔. To many years I can’t remember 🤷🏽♂️
Sounds like Mr Torque new guitar solo from Borderlands 3!
Love that he isn't an arrogant or pretentious dude just down to earth and kind
He has never came off as arrogant to me
Rob Zombie: "If I can Even Remember This Properly" or Fiction?
I was high that day Ricky
I think you're confusing him with Ozzy
he's such a cool, down to earth, nerdy guy with amazing talent. I'd so love a chance to hangout with him and pick his brain
I love all of Rob's work. Seeing Sheri in everything is AWESOME! I'm forever a Zombie fanatic.
LOVE him and Sheri! ❤❤
Wow, he’s so much more talkative than I imagined him to be!
That bit about his mom carrying around the giant stuffed animal was hilarious.
SailorMars768 and then later his brother - can you picture a little Spider (of PM5K) carrying around a giant stuffed animal??? ROFL
ShizukaLapis
It was his Sister. When she was little.
He specifically said his mom.
LOL
@@SailorMars768 Doesn't mean it wasn't also his sister.
Glenn Danzig: Fact or fiction.
He'd love it, because he always talks about how everything about him online is bullshit.
Huesos 138 Glenn wouldn’t give this poser the time of day....he’s awesome to his real fans, but I can see him fucking with this clown.
@@MrSaintvitus
Stop living in the 80s.
MrSaintvitus Glen is so fucking full of himself it would be another gene simmons interview

Just saw Rob Zombie & Marilyn Manson in the Hell Never Dies Tour', Aug2019.
So like I'm 55 and he's 50, man he's got so much energy. His band put on a great show. (Manson, not so much ) LOL . The only way I could be like that, is with massive amounts of a white powdery substance. Lol
Im pretty sure Rob also likes a little bit from this and that. ;-)
greets from The Netherlands.
Steve Hunt wtf I saw the same tour and Manson was fantastic as well
Manson got wasted and couldn't make the show so we had an extended set from Zombie... what an awesome show!! Thank you for the flashback
I saw Manson when he had the broken leg a few years back. He was pretty bad, but in an entertaining way actually.
brian just needs to stay home -
obviously Rob is a nice guy and was great friends with Vinnie Paul and Diamond Darrell -Dimebag
👍🏼and Rob is extremely talented 💖
Man this world and the things happening in it, needs more people like Rob Zombie
Is it me or the older he gets, Rob looks like more and more like Frank Zappa ?
lol yup
You're not alone
Definitely. they have a certain amount of similarity in personality as well
I hadn't realized that until you said it.
He has always reminded me of Zappa in more ways than just looks, even back in the WZ days...but yeah, he's looking more and more like him.
I've just read how Rob defended Babymetal-girls from haters. It was really cool. You are awesome, Mr. Zombie.
that was good what he did
+Yuuhi Saka By baby metal you mean korn and slipknot?
+General Nappa she means this band named babymeatle
+J anime Ramen what's babymeatle
+General Nappa so edgey!!! You must be super hardcore bruh.
I love how the reflection of the coffee table in his sunglasses looks like giant eyes behind his sunglasses
Rob sounds like Stan Lee. He could play him as a older role.
I would love to see a Fact or Fiction with Till Lindemann!!
YES THIS!
How the fuck are we gonna ship in a German rockstar for a 12 minute video?
Indeed!!! They need to get on this right away!
Too bad he doesn't like interviews
@@ebinecksdee9872 didn't he litterally do one?
I like the interviewer playing along like he knows what a close 'n play record player was.
I just had the chance to meet him at the Twins of Evil Tour and he was just like this interview! I was such a dork and he was sweet !! The whole band was great!
I'm debating getting a meet and greet but didn't know if it would be worth it! Is it?
So worth it!
I saw him in concert, he was awesome. he walked through the crowd during his songs as well. just awesome.
I interviewed Rob that same year and he is truly one of the most down to earth guys and artists.
Loving Rob's old school denim. Takes me back decades lol.
I got my uncle's Levi's jeans jacket from the early 70s in great condition..i wonder how much it's worth
I was just there for the beats, he always had mad beats and rhythms, it was like dance metal. Good times!
Rob is a genius. Not only as a frontman but also behind the scenes. Master of all trades.
should totally do marilyn manson: Wikipedia: fact or fiction.
Or Avenged Sevenfold.
Yes to both of these please! 🙌🏼
Amen! =)
+Stephanie loveless I would love to see that. Especially now since he's become so much more coherent after quitting absinthe lol
+my life is a meme hail Satan
Rob Zombie looks like he'd be working in a Canabis Shop. If that man doesn't smoke weed, I don't know who does
Ill betcha he doesnt smoke weed.
Considering the crazy names he gives his albums?
I can't imagine anyone thinking up those NOT stoned.
Hellbilly Deluxe: 13 Tales of Cadaverous Cavorting Inside the Spookshow International
For one.
Hellbilly Deluxe 2: Noble Jackals, Penny Dreadfuls and the Systematic Dehumanization of Cool
For another.
Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor
For another
The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser
Was the one Gruhammad had to remember at the end of this interview.
Although the last one sounds more like Rob's version of The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, the book about Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters that Tom Wolfe wrote many years ago.
And maybe more than pot smoking, I'd not be surprised if there was a bit of LSD dropping along the way...just saying.
@@toddvandell85 yeeeaah! last seems tom wolfe´s book.....i also realized that maybbe it influentied
He looks like a Sheri Moon wannabe.
If you ever watch the special features on The Devil's Rejects DVD they're all coked out. It's blatantly obvious with Sid Haig.
Rob is just one of the coolest people ever and I don’t know why
Saw him in concert a few weeks ago w/ Mudvayne, man sounds great live
gruhamed: ...the drummer from Five Finger Death Punch
rob: (who??)
well, there you go

The band is actually really good. Its on the heavy metal side of music but ivan moody has amazing vocals without screaming
@@ashley.rice2016 they're not that good, tbh.
Saw Rob Zombie open for Ozzy, one of the best live shows I've ever seen
Matt Ehrlich saw Zombie support Ozzy with In This Moment as the opener.
One of the best nights I’ve ever had
I saw Zombie, Ozzy and Within This Moment. It was pretty good stuff. The stage was pretty amazing.
1998 ozzfest Apple river wisc.
I've been a fan of Robs music and movies for many years but I've never watched an interview. Seems like a pretty down to earth, easy going dude. 👍
I enjoy this man and his music so much. He marches to his own drummer, so to speak. He is well spoken. Creative also.
Rob sounds totally like Howard Hessman...Dr.Johnny Fever
Looks a bit like him too
He really does
Oh no shit, for real...
This is hilarious and absolutely true. I'd totally watch a reboot of WKRP with him as a DJ.
Wow I was tryin to place the voice while listening to this and you totally nailed it.
The reflections of the pillows on Robs glasses look like eyes lmao

Much Respect for Darrell & Vinnie Paul Abbott 💖
I can listen to his voice all day and night!!! I just love hearing and watching him talk!!!!!
Rob I will take one of those 7" records in your attic ...hit me up !!
Me too!!!!!!
"It said, it said, it said" I'm no expert at conducting interviews but damn does this kid know how to not sound like a student starting off an oral science report? Oy. Rob is hella cool, he's got such a great energy. Glad he never burnt all his brain cells out living the rock and horror life so he could bring us some amazing art
Rob Zombie is generation X's Alice Cooper. And I will NEVER forget the episode of Headbangers Ball when he was asked to paint the set. Was supposed to be a one episode deal, but ended up being on there for several episodes.
This interview made me love RZ more than I already do. He seems like such a cool down to earth guy!
Serj Tankian fact or fiction plz
+Finn Kellmurray would love that so much
that'd be dope
That would be one fuxked up episode haha

Hed just bitch about everything.
It's so cool Rob Zombie likes the Jackson 5. I have always said music is music.
I loved this mans music. I first listening to his music back in the early mid 90s. Still great.
I knew he had to be an Alice Cooper fan. I could feel it in his presence and music. Alice and Rob are two of my favorites
Rob has been Vegetarian since like 1980, I was surprised to learn that.
Oh shit? For real? That's badass
+Tristan Rose Brother is that youuuuu
+Tristan Thomas Hm. Didn't we leave you for adoption?
That must be why he always got exhausted and out of breath during his shows.
Vegan actually.
Rob Zombie's mannerisms remind me of Les Claypool's.
I can't believe you just said that. That's what I was thinking too.
+Maclin Wiley listen to rob's song "well, everybody's fucking in a u.f.o."... that'll remind you of les a lot too.
that makes sense. their about the same age.
+Cheetah Chrome I was about to reply this and saw yours, i thought it was new les/primus and it was zman, either way badass, UGLY MUSIC FOR UGLY PEOPLE
+Mike C Their talking voices are eerily similar.
All I know is that He’s a Down To Earth & Super Chill And Cool Dude!!!
So much smarter and articulate than youd think. Love his music and movies, the devils rejects trilogy is awesome.
Gruesome.. but awesome
House of 1000 Corpses was da bomb
Jonathan Davis - Fact or Fiction? needs to happen.
Your the first person I've seen who suggested this
yeah, that'd be legit
damn i love house of 1000 corpses. i watch it every year at helloween!
Yeah, it was pretty good but I like Devil's Rejects a whole lot better!
devils rejects may be a good horror movie, but Ho1000C has this weird trashiness to it which i realy like :))

Love every movie you ever did and own them with your albums. If I could press them on vinyl I wouldn't flip the tape either.

One of the greatest front men on the planet!!! Hands down...This dude rocks live!

You're in luck now, they came out with a box set called "It Came From NYC" that includes Gods on Voodoo Moon, and pretty much everything before they made La Sexorcisto
I saw that! Freakin awesome. :)
He's such a genuine guy and great music to boot
Dude's been one of my heros since I was in high school. He puts on an incredible stage show but off the stage he's just a regular guy (who just happens to look cooler than anyone else in the room).
Literally ran into Rob after a concert and invited me to chill with him and we talked about old horror movies and he is so brilliant and intelligent on things that I have a whole level of respect for him so humble and regular like all of us
zombie seems like a overall very knowledgeable, and he's very very honest with himself.
I feel like Rob should make a whole movie from out of that circus story. 'The Moon Circus Slaughter Of Bloodletting Mayhem'.
That should have been what he called his first single from The Lunar Injection Kool-Aid Eclipse Conspiracy.
Kudos to whoever came up with the idea for this series
Rob Zombie is awesome I have all of his films and I love his music keep going strong dude
I love that the way Rob's able to remember when his family was involved in a carnival riot, is because he remembers it's the same year KISS released "Love Gun," and he bought a KISS poster that year.
That's pure rock.
Suggestions:
James Hetfield
Mike Patton
Flea
Chino Moreno
Steve Harris (unless you interviewed him when Maiden were in NYC in March)
Myles Kennedy
Mike Patton!
I'll take all of those and raise you one Maynard James Keenan.
***** What exactly is fact? And no Maynard did not say that lol, if you're interested read the article for yourself. Dude was talking about the extreme minority of fans that every band has that are absolute batshit.
With that said, I am still raising you a Maynard.
***** And a Jerry Cantrell!
Mike won't do it tho.
A rocker like Rob Zombie owning a Jackson 5 Album I never would thought or guessed that in a million years. Mind Blown.
I'd never heard his speaking voice before. Much more respect for his voice modulation skills.
Rob is Awesome, He Walks Through Concert Stadiums And Shakes Fans Hands, Extremely Nice Dude.
I’m just curious: after doing these interviews, do you go on Wikipedia and make the corrections?
He doesn't
someone usually does though
the fans usually correct it after the interviews
Oh the fans, I thought someone was getting paid to handle the changes on Wikipedia.
Respect him so much. True artist, and you know hes pretty humble being the face of 90s alternative metal
Saw 'White Zombie' with NIN and Perfect Circle in Denver back in early 2000's. Great show
Would have loved to see him worked with Stan Lee. May Stan rest in peace
He looks like Frank Zappa and Les Claypool fused. I'm not saying that as a bad thing. I like Zappa, Zombie, and Claypool.
Love his music, love his films, but never would thought that he is so nice!
I love how the reflection of the couch and pillows in his glasses look like biggo eyes every now and then. And the coffee table.
Love this interview and is that a Svengoolie shirt that hes rockin!!❤❤

Are you not going by the name Gruhahmed anymore?
I once interviewed an actor for a podcast who worked with Rob, he’d been working for forty years in the business and was adamant that Rob was the nicest guy he’s ever worked with. I thought that was very telling.
So Happy you did a Rob Zombie interview 🤗🤗🤗🤗 we love you!!!! Rob you are such an amazing Artist 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Love Rob. Saw him and the band live last weekend. Amazing show.
