Mark Lindsay had a flair for the theatrical onstage. A Pied Piper with an over the top rhythmic grooves in his moves. His leg work was very seductive. Not only a good acting singer but a hip dancer as wel in an offbeat band that parodied themselves because they were such a crack band who played their instruments so effortlessly and confidently that they played the role of goofballs which added to their charming appeal. 😎👌

Peter Noone is a terrific storyteller. Notice that the interviewer and Mark and Mickey and Felix - and the audience -- are all sitting back and enjoying Pete as he goes on and on!

Great interview with a super panel! Brings back soooooo many memories! Grew up in Southern Calif 60's! The vibes real! Following Dick Clark's where the action is! So fun! Enjoyed re-liv'n it while listening to this panel! Thanks!

I love all these guys. Each has a different role in rock. But Felix Cavaliere was in the first true blue-eyed soul band, if you ask me. Funniest part, for me, is when Peter Noone says when they heard the Beatles and they said, "We're f**ked," the kid sitting on the floor in the front has no clue. Totally hilarious. Watch it at 33:58. I totally did not expect Perter Noone to be such a hoot!

They should have let Peter talk longer, his stories are so funny. Would have enjoyed hearing more from Felix, too.

Paul Revere and the Raiders , The Monkees were like the Ricky Nelsons of rock l& roll bands , because they became more famous by being on a weekly TV show .

I just watched Netflix movie The Gray Man, song Silverbird played which reminded me of Arizona. Now I’m here, in 1968 that was 8th grade and I had the a.m. transistor radio that Mark talked about. Rock on you guys, and the rest of you too! We are still alive.

I remember seeing Herman's Hermits outdoors early on. Peter said over the mic " no no don't applaud, just throw money"
Wrong answer. Someone nailed him square in the eye with a...must have been a 50 cent piece! The moment is forever burned in my memory. I could even see the sun reflection off of the coin and the sudden look on his face as it smacked him. He reeled around and grabbed his eye. I felt so bad for him and could tell he was really hurt.
R&R even with a "nice & harmless" band llike them...He probably never used that line again 😲

All of these men are true gentlemen they sincerely are enjoying what everyone is saying they aren’t bored one bit these young singers and actors today I think couldn’t do this they should listen to Peter Noone what he had to do to work and he had to drive the older guys would be drunk and at 14 he’s driving!! You young singers and actors who think you’re something forget IT!!

I suspect Noone and Co. were a lot less innocent and more worldly than their image made them out to be. Not too surprising to hear Peter drop the "f-bomb" here.
