Chinese annual electric power generation is also 2.5x more than the United States, and 40% of that power comes from renewable energy. Basically China has the infrastructure for EV adoption. The US on the other hand will experience grid overload if everyone starts charging at home.
False. 62% of China's power comes from coal. 60.4% of the power in the US comes from fossil fuels as a whole and 39.4% from Nuclear and renewables. It is essentially the same breakdown but we have far more nuclear power where China relies heavily on hydropwer still. They do NOT have a grid built for EVs... nobody does nor will they in the next several decades.

@@MisterZorinyeah that's pretty unique nobody copies the defender
@@MisterZorinwhiner...
@@MisterZorin Wow I didn't know the Defender has a 4 electric motor drivetrain to do tank turns in, fully active hydraulic suspension, and can float and navigate in bodies of water, plus an available drone carrier! In fact NO OTHER production SUV has those features. BTW that's just a long winded way to say the U8 is indeed "unique".
@@tren133 The U8 is unique like very unique
I believe the "Evidence" series audio system is metaphorically named to signify its high-fidelity quality, which accurately captures the intricacies of the original recorded sound. This precision is akin to a "forensic level," suggesting that the sound reproduced is so reliable it could serve as "trustworthy evidence."
It's a bargain of the year at $150k for all of the features it comes with.
amphibious assault vehicle for 150k.
@@leihtory7423except you can only do it once and probably won't work properly again. It's such a great off road vehicle they don't even let him drive it on the course
If you move to China, can you own him at this price
Jesus that drone thing is so freakin' unnecessary. I want it now!!!!! That is so goddamn cool....lol.
Extremely beautiful interior.
Damn, I thought it was ugly but that interior looks so good. Both the design and materials are way nicer than most SUVs, and it looks way more fancy than the new Range Rover. If these came to North America, we may have some real competition in the luxury SUV market and move beyond the cheap interiors they have in EVs today.
This car is amazing, I wonder if they export an English UI version
You should wonder if the US will continue to ban high tech competitive Chinese products & forces its puppet allies to do the same instead
I believe English has been installed already as one of the default languages.
This car was showed in Indonesia motor show last week. It can rotate 360 ° , without turn the wheels.

So this monster's competitor is defender... ?😅
哈哈,一針見血
80km/h with 3 wheels
The defender is also 2/3 the cost at most of the U8. It's also not manufactured in China and has much higher safety and reliability. Notice BYD can't make it in the US market and Land Rover can.
You forgot two important things:
1. Tank turning
2. Your own damn DJI Drone port!!!!!
China, the land of shortcuts and facades.. Utter madness how all those new Chinese brands, that are almost all funded by the CCP, pop up big time and jump on that “green” and “sustainable” electric bandwagon.. And that’s a huge danger for western car manufactures cause they can’t compete with the low wages of those COMMUNISTS! Let alone the long term ownership of those driving ticking timebombs with probably questionable build quality.. 🤔 Particular China with their so-called massive “renewable energy” projects propaganda wich the mainstreammedia in the west take for granted. Superprofits can be made in such countries where exploitation, childlabour and corruption are the norm, and other human rights are basically worth nothing!
Wow, I’d feel money well spent in this car.
I love U8
If it were sold in the United States, the price would definitely exceed $300,000!
That much ? 😮
@@Ahooooooootarrifs
@@Ahooooooooyes because the US government have put a 100% tariffs on China ev cars , it would be cheaper to actually get it from Mexico these ev Chinese cars .
This is definitely the most capable SUV in the world....No other SUV can go places, turn on a dime and swim like this SUV. Imagine if crappy, unreliable Land Rover ever made a vehicle like this, they will be bragging to the moon and the whole world will be talking about it. Wow, what a go anywhere SUV!!!
perfect for city that often face flood like mine
Awesome car ❤
You can turn this tank, flot like a boat, and fly a DJI drone. So COOL! Not so cool is the front design. Super COOL is the interior.
Like the vehicle. It is the best suv in the world.
I am in China, and BYD is really a good car. This car has a strong sense of science and technology, which accelerates the killing of all gasoline cars of the same level and is very quiet. If your country is a left-hand drive car, I can help you purchase it and deliver it on delivery. Please contact me if you want to inquire about how to transport or the specific configuration of the car.
What a beauty 😍😍😍😍 .
nice to see the test run in the Qiantan area. been there last month when visiting my parents
An FYI, Dynaudio Evidence speakers cost $250k USD + a pair. They are Dynaudios flagship speakers and are AMAZING!
Gagah, mewah, misterius dan mengesankan!
It can swim! I mean it, swim, the wheels can run to creat waves which pushes the car still able to forword , to turn,
People crossed a real river by this car , I suggest you to check more vids about it !
There is a suggested maintenance procedure after each time 'swimming practice' , it will cost around 1500 usd only,
And by what we heard until now , this procedure is not followed by many owners of this car, and the function of the car is not affected !
meanwhile , the 'floating or swimming' function is not damaging the engine, not at all, hundreds of videos owners published prooved this .
Check more vids on internet to see the insanity of this car .
Cheers !
Definitely a revolutionary design. Looks NOTHING like the new Land Rover.
Agreed
Thank you for your work educating us in Chinese cars.
Gorgeous and amazing...Toyota land cruiser, eat your heart out!

Magnificent, amazing vehicle
This is ultimate car, really cool
The days of cheap low quality Chinese goods are over. This car honestly looks better than the new Mercedes and BMW. Also this car is a must have during zombie apocalypses lmao
