It's so funny to stumble across your video in the wild, I've been thinking about this exact issue of the series. My roommate had been on a rewatch of the whole DragonBall series minus the fillers for awhile (now he's fallen off because the game is out lol), and I joined mainly because it's been years since I fell off the series as well as realizing there was TONS of stuff I didn't remember about it. My point being, while watching I also came to that same conclusion you did and the main problem is really that Toriyama shot himself in the foot with the Frieza arc. Like, once you establish a world destroying super powerful alien, you can only go up from there but there's only a limited amount of ways to do that before such extremes end up feeling repetitive. The problem being that it kinda has to be that way when the series's premise of "strength" is actually written as "numbers" and they are the main determining factor for every battle. Legit all of Goku's friends become nothing but cheerleaders on the side line (which is a whole other rant I'll hold back on but ya'know lol) because they physically can't do anything to help and that's just... TLDR: The puny paradox is a real story killer, but the colors are fun ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
