Until the autopsy is complete and the findings are released it would be presumptuous for the school to release any information, and not before the father/family has been informed of the results. Now is that long wait for the results and I hope that the dad has lawyered up by then.

While the school consults with the district legal department to protect themselves, the parent and family suffer unspeakable pain that feels like severe disrespect! From my clinical experience, seizure and death in gym can result from simply over hydrating with too much water! The brain needs salt / electrolytes in order to function and will seize if the body becomes over hydrated, in a condition called hyponatremia. It happened to our daughter and she was in stupor for 2 days inpatient. They saved her but no one seems to know this can happen to healthy students!
