    The joys and pains of fishing. No matter how prepared fisherman think we are something you least expect goes wrong. Nice catches none the less!

    One suggestion, longer handle on that net. Put a piece of float noodle on it. Nice video!

    I’m curious about your camera setup...do you use a GoPro? How does the microphone connect to it?

      thanks Luis! Do it man, you can get some amazing shots! I have a video on my channel showing how to rig up the camera's the way I have mine. It will be great on your Hobie too bro! Check it out. Also the net is a ForEverlast G2 Floating net, which I LOVE.

    Do you use a leader when you’re trolling for walleye like this? If so what length and pound test?

    Great catch!! Where do you keep them on your kayak? I panfish a lot and I'm always looking for better ways of keeping my catch on the kayak.

      Violetta Talley well up until this day, I just left them on the stringer and towed them around off the side of the yak. Just got a new and much better stronger system that I'll be trying. I don't have room for a fish bag right now.

    I was thinking about trying it on a kayak but is it harder being faced the wrong way

    • @ChiCityYaker
      @ChiCityYaker  7 років тому

      Not really...with anything...just a matter of doing it and becoming comfortable with it.

      +WV WildMan not for me, I’m used to trolling this way for salmon and walleye. I guess with a kayak that has reverse, you could back troll!? Lol would be fun to see someone do that

    Do you have a livewell? Where do you keep the keepers?

    What speed would say you were running that day?

    • @ChiCityYaker
      @ChiCityYaker  7 років тому +3

      Typically 1.5-1.8mph but it can vary on their moods. Sometimes a little faster and other times a little slower. 1.5 is a good starting speed to go with. Adjust from there.

      Nah it doesn’t and I really wish they did! It’s a pain to have to sync audio/video in post

    Nice video but buy a net with a longer handle. Watching you struggle to net fish is painful.

      I have one. This was a long time ago but that net was super convenient and I miss it.

      David Ehlers oh man....the fish of 1000 casts...I'll be honest I have zero really knowledge on how to target. I JUST caught my first one my first day out this season. It's actually in a video of you search my vids from back in Feb I believe.
