The garbage does reflect the difference between those who are "homeless" and those who call the dessert home. Thanks for cleaning up others' messes so the rest of us can continue to have access to these areas.
It IS sad ... but unfortunately a lot of the "homeless" don't have the resources and capability to haul away their garbage or clean up a campsite very well ... lack of vehicles, inability to buy garbage bags or cleaning supplies ... mental illnesses, substance abuse. I don't agree that they should just be given "free reign," but sometimes there are extenuating circumstances.
@@SherryAnnOfTheWestthey brought it in .they can take it out...lots of alcohol also makes many lazy..but its also those who are glamping...who knows it could be border crossers.
There’s a huge car camping community and a lot of people just starting this journey. Could you possibly video some of the things you did to start this life for them? Like washing dishes, how you sleep, where you find these places and just basic living? It will help immensely with people who want to start this way of life. I live watching you and getting inspired.

So ridiculous that people leave trash ugh! Before I hit the road I’m buying huge trash bags and a trash grabber and I’ll be cleaning anywhere I’m camping. I hate that shit😡

People make me feel like it's a crime to pick up trash on my walks .. one neighbor now just throws their trash toward the road laughing that I'll just pick it up it's a joke .. I have n RV but am not full time . But still every one should pick up ..

I love watching your daily life, whatever path it takes you and dishes is part of that too. I love watching you open up with a hot cup of coffee while opening your door to your day.
Just wanted to say I’ve long made my coffee via pouring over hot water from a kettle (sometimes 12v, sometimes heated on the stove), but I never would have thought of using the less expensive MrCoffee style filter to hold the coffee in a Melita filter cone. I’ll have to try it when this box is done.

I spent 4 days at Ironwood Monument it was after the festival but there was still quite a few people there. It's a beautiful area. While I was there, I went to West Tucson and went up to the biosphere and toured that. That was really interesting, and it was worth the drive out there. People who leave their garbage are such irresponsible people.And they ruin it for everyone. Safe travels have fun in Tucson.
Enjoy your journey with Joey. We pick up tips from each video whether you announce it as a video with tips or not. For example, in this video, I learned to not travel if the roads are too muddy and my vehicle will get stuck. That's a great tip!
Thanks for being YOU! a lovely responsable lady. When cleaning up after others, especially those situations that look like this, sometimes it is the homeless and their drug lifestyle , where hidden in the sand and other garbage are dirty needles. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL !!! and maybe keep Joey on a leash, don't want a unexpected injury for him. Or maybe move to a possibly safer area so you don't get injured by accident. Love ya Gal🥰
Last time I was in Snyder Hill I did not like it at all. There was so much trash everywhere, we were surrounded by people who obviously lived there and were drunk and screaming all night. I couldn't walk Charles around where the van was because there was so many loose dogs that would charge us when we walk. There was glass everywhere especially near the bottom of the hill. I don't think I will ever go back to Snyder

I think a smart way to do that is to take single "mundane" tasks and sprinkle them in your regular videos. Maybe one video you're visiting X and you show how you wash dishes Midway through the video. Next video your holed up in "Y" and show how you wash clothes near the end of the video
That way everyone's getting a bit of what they want. The long timers don't get excited for a new video only for it to be you doing chores and the new viewers get eased into your whole schtick, both the fun and the less exciting. For dedicated videos on completing house tasks, we already have channels like cheapRVliving, which show different nomad builds and ideas in nearly every video

You could do that, piece it together. And if the dish washing segment is short enough you could turn it into a “short”.

I call trash pickup "paying the rent" - but also travel in small vehicle and not always easy to find trash dump and/or carry around others people's trash until I do.
Related are those in the big fancy 5th wheels who spend the whole season in 14 limit near Quartzsite and Ajo. Guess if you have the $, you don't need to follow rules either.
If you wanted, you could react to your own basic daily chore vifeos, highlight what's changed, how your process has evolved. That would be interesting to both new and old viewersa.

Love the nail polish change! Debating whether to keep getting my nails done on the road or go back to doing them myself. They split & peel a lot so that’s why I get them done. Love seeing you & Joey living your best life!

Well, good morning Chantelle and Joey looks like Ironwood was a nice place to camp. Yes, and it is a shame people do not take care of our land. It makes it bad for other people but thank you for another wonderful video. You’re doing a great job out there you and Joey are great peopleand I really hope sometime this spring or summer I can meet up with you and Joey just to have at least have a cuppa coffee until then take care of yourself and be safe bye

Yes, when I got my last 8” pan, in addition to being sure my glass lid fit it, I went for one that had sides slightly higher than your typical frying pan 🍳

I do the same thing: I bring large bags, wear gloves and pick up garbage. I use a grabber under bushes too. People are disrespectful to the land and people, just reflects the state of the world right now. I have seen forest service land closed down on the 260 north of Payson due to garbage.

I now have the laundromat do my laundry. I hate doing it. In Yuma I use the 8th street laundry. $1.55 a pound. It’s worth it.

How do u ever figure out which way to go or turn where u camp? I mean they all look the same! Lol. I guess u learn the routes after being there so much but I would end up so far away & never find my way out 😂. I notice Joey has put on wt. & my dog was same size as Joey & she got the same way after not getting enough exercise. She got lazy. But that does make a difference & less treats🙄 which is pretty hard when u have cute puppy dog eyes looking up at ya & giving a little whine that's always too hard to resist! 😏🐕💓✌️

if you ever go to colorado which is Southwest looking also i would check out Buena Vista..its a beautiful high valley with lots to see..not sure how your van does with higher elevations ..might slow it down..
Everywhere I go lately people have been leaving trash, dog poop cig butts even when an ashtray is provided it’s so disturbing my husband and I try to clean it up as well. They are ruining it for everyone.
