I tested this back in the 80s. Out of my Sheridan pump air rifle. And the results were similar. I used to shot. Toy die Cast metal military tanks , and the nail melted right into Toy Tanks metal. , it also sailed through Kevlar vest at least 10 layers of it no problem, but so could a broadhead out of a good compound bow. But regardless really impressive for an airgun
I hope you're ok with ruining your barrel by doing this... Crosman barrels are made from mild steel. The nail is made from hardened steel. Use a flashlight and look into your barrel and I assure you you will have deep scratches on the inside. This will now reduce your power and accuracy.
Who cares if it’s dangerous he seems to be having fun doing it so and he would be at fault if anything goes wrong he would be at fault bc he also did say don’t try it at home
maybe so, but imagine building an air gun specifically for rounds like that, a "Jeorg style" semi auto bull-pup, co2 powered with a 20 round magazine. it may need two cartridges to operate, one to launch the projectile, the other to blow back the slide (2nd valve at 1/8" more trigger pull) to load the next one.

Try a concrete nail.
I did.
Once.
Never again.
It went through one inch of plywood, my wall, and is still in the tree in my yard!
Hand loading a .357 hollow point with a 6 inch nail? Same penetration, extra weight, longer nail… 🤔🤷🏻♂️✌️

great video, but you're wasting your time telling people not to do this at home because when they see the video it's the first thing they will do lol
it drives in just like an arrow, potentially very deadly.
Brilliant stuff, that really suprised me.
Good to put baseboard instead of finish nails
You can damage your gun using nails. Recommend not to use nails.
Is this real?
Wow that pretty cool
In this case you need ceramic hard face body armor.
Good job
Hmmm 🤔 coat hunger, pellet insert, proper length =air spear gun..You see what you have done,I just improved your design…

Destroyed your barrel -_-
Maybe, but probably not. A new barrel is like $10.
So what you only lost about 30 to 50 bucks
Right, this is stupit and dangerous
and interesting
This is genius

and funny ^^
what danger did he put himself in?
