Only just realised I have the symptoms, mine keeps going down, I only eat small amounts of sugar and salt. You could mention kidney dysfunction or that the kidneys are not handling the excess sugar and salt.
Yikes , no sugar or very very little, 2 cups tea day, no alcohol, no antacid... 69 yrs , 116 lbs, keto , in the sun , gym spin-yoga-weights...legs cramps, tingling 2-3 months now frustrating.. taking more magnesium not helping.. 😏😏
vitamin D deficiency also causes cramping and tingling and B12 deficiency can cause tingling in hands and feet also Calcium deficiency causes tingling and numbness in the hands and feet
Please research oxalates - you may want to add them to your list. Oxalates readily bind to calcium making it unavailable to you. Information by Sally K Norton has been very eye opening to me. High oxalate foods include grains, nuts(especially almonds), most seeds, spinach, Swiss chard, beets, potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc.
This video is part of a calcium series of videos by Dr. Osborne and he does cover oxalates in at least one of the others when talking about foods with calcium, because they do inhibit calcium absorption as you said. Here is the link to that one: ua-cam.com/video/qYkk8aWBofU/v-deo.html
I love these videos! Thank you for educating us - you are amazing! I don't know if it is just my computer, but at the end when you point to the link for the rest of the series I don't see one. Is it this one ua-cam.com/video/rk4gio4Qe30/v-deo.html, or ua-cam.com/video/qYkk8aWBofU/v-deo.html, or the longer Q&A version at ua-cam.com/video/qCvIrINMG20/v-deo.html
This guy is great! I love his videos!
I for one cannot digest dairy products anymore. I'm eating tofu, edamame, chia seeds, broccoli, etc instead. Seems to work
This makes sense, I was drinking Almond milk and a lot of milk. I have extreme Acid reflux now.
Thank you so much!!

Dr. Osborne: I'd like to know what you think about Berberine, a supplement that has become very popular because it lowers A1-C.

You sound just like me. I’m now exploring low calcium. I drink coffee instead of tea though.

Why do you prefer the calcium malate over the hydroxyapatite?
