I love the way they showed Daryl to us you could tell he’s a hunter and hot headed His whole interaction with Rick was hilarious RICK GRIMES You got something you wanna tell me😂

Michael Rooker is an amazing actor.
That whole monologue on the rooftop was so cool.
Also loved him in Guardians of The Galaxy and in other movies too.

I think Carol is apologizing to Ed because she's terrified of how he might retaliate against her and her daughter if he later decides not to heed Shane's warning. Happy to have found your reactions and looking forward to more. Subscribed!

I think Carol was terrified of what Ed might do to her later in retaliation. Also, while I agree that Ed deserved a good hiding, Shane's violence wasn't entirely justified. He was angry due to the conversation with Lori beforehand so he was looking to channel his rage into something. It's little nuances like this that make the show so interesting!
Some pretty amazing acting from Michael Rooker (Merle) in that opening scene.
He did great!
Loving to get to see these episodes with you. Season 1 was short but informative and you really get to see how people are trying to cope with a new reality. Hopefully you will really start to understand why this show is loved by so many.

All kidding aside the backbone of this show is not the walkers but the decisions our group have to make good or bad! Rick sets the tone by going back for Merle! This does make an impression on the group especially Darryl! Love the reaction!

Also, why didn't Merle just cut the small chain on the handcuffs instead of his hand... Maybe this is done to show that he is a bad @ss? Anyway... Great reaction 😁

The titles are usually a line said in the episode :D Lori said to Shane "tell it to the frogs" whe he wanted to talk with her. Very good reaction!
As much as I dislike Lori sometimes I truly believe she would not have taken up with Shane if she knew Rick was alive Now I know it happened pretty fast but it was the Apocalypse not normal circumstances And remember at the time Rick was shot he and Lori were having marital issues Shane was probably there for Lori and Carl the whole time and when shit went down and they had to bail that only brought them closer.

this is the first time in a reaction video i actually caught a reminder that shane was wise to ed's bullshit long before he directed his slightly misguided asswhiping on him . i mean yeah he had it coming and yeah shane was in the mood to do it but now i see that regardless eventually shane was gonna have to beat his ass for what he'd been doing.this was just the perfect storm for it to happen,shane was in a mood and ed put his hands on his wife . boom.

I think it's interesting how Rick treats Shane? What I mean is that he was his best friend, his "brother", they grew up together, but he barely reacted to being reunited with him, he never mentioned him once while looking for his family. Like, I get them being his priority but this seems like the kind of friendship were you would expect your so called brother to not to let your kid and wife to their luck. Like maybe he couldn't have gotten to them, but Rick doesn't even spare him a single tought.
And then the show moves on and the survivor family is formed and you can tell that every member on it means the world to Rick, like, of course Carl and Judith come first, but he always worries about them and rejoyces in the time he can be with them. And I know is a different situation because he went trough so much with them and he knows he may lose them at any second. But he knew Shane his entire life. He grew up with him since he was a kid and they were adults seeing each other every day but he barely seems to have miss him until they are reaching the point of no return and he realizes that things have changed between them.
If you wanna compare it to the specific tag of best friend just look at the way he acts with Darryl. I feel like with Shane it was always more about bringing up the past which, again, I get they are in the transition from their old lifes to the new world, but what Rick talks about is like the distant past and I feel they are more the kind of friends that you naturally get because they are always there by coincidence (living in the same neighborhood, going to the same class...), and you have some things in common with them but is really not that much of a bond that you worked for? If that makes any sense?
Whereas with Darryl they sllowly fell into a friendship because they started respecting and apreciating the other and because how well they balance each other but they are not as contrasting as Shane and Rick were at this point.
There is also the thing about Rick knowing Lori cheated with Shane but again, he couldn't have inmediatly jump to that conclusion and he doesn't seem that phased at seing him alive, we have other situations where he thinks his kids may be dead and he still reacts to the rest of his family being alive, he looks more like he is grateful because he took care of them, but I feel like with other characters we would have gotten a scene of Rick going specifically towards them, like when Darryl comes back from the Saviors, or when he is processing how he killed Joe and Carl is traumatized and everything but he still finds time to comfort Darryl and reasure his place as his brother.
I don't know why this train of tought suddenly striked me while looking at this reaction, but there you have it folks lol.

I'll do it then. Shane didn't do what he did to Ed because of what Ed was doing to Carol, he did it because of what Laurie said to him. If it was about Ed's behaviour he'd have had an accident a long time ago.
Btw, hope you feel the same way when you see women hitting men... but I doubt it.

One thing I don't like about YT reaction channels is that they don't understand why Daryl is mad. It's literally his brother... I'd be mad too if my brother was left and stuck on a roof anybody would be.
Yeah and he had to cut off his hand to get free! I hope in Season 2 we get an idea of what happened to Meryl!! :)

@@chickflicks82 It has that effect. The drama, the character development, oh yeah... and the zombies too. It's a well written show, that just happens to take place in a zombie (walker) apocalypse.
Do you think Shane was taking out his frustrations with being written off/accused by Lori (of lying) and took it out on Ed (Carol's husband)?
@@MGillDesign I mean, I think he prob fell in love with Lori and now he has to step down and let Rick be with his wife and son. I thought for a second that maybe he made that up that Rick died...but I wasn't sure. I think Shane reacted to Ed the way any guy would. I'm sure. Ed was a horrible person, so glad Shane kicked his butt!
@@chickflicks82 Ed definitely deserved it. But you could tell there was more behind those punches. He almost punched Ed to death. 5-6 punches probably would've got his point across, but he kept going... Even Andrea and the girls were kinda shocked that he wouldn't stop.
They even looked kinda scared of Shane, after he finally stopped. Even though he was defending them/Carol.

When it comes to Merle’s actions on the roof, you need to remember he had just snorted a line or two of the cocaine Rick found when he first handcuffed him, they show Rick flicking his nose saying he missed some then threw the packet over the edge, so that paired with sun sickness and a severe case of dehydration can mess with ones head pretty bad, 😏😀
With it being only 2 ish months from the start of the apocalypse to when Rick wakes up I personally thought it was awful fast for Lori to get with anyone let alone Shane, whether Rick was dead or not, so I do not think she can blame it all on Shane, 😏👍

Hi Susan…love ❤your reactions. You have this amazing ability to add wit to your commentary. In future episodes , you’ll get a better understanding about the Dixon brothers. Also, I agree 💯 with , Shane beating the 💩 out of, Ed. He deserved that and more….🤬. Really not convinced that, Lori with certainty knew that Rick was dead. She did say, she thought , he was transported to a more secure location. Lori appears to justify her behavior by placing blame onto others. Despite being a bad character, Merle was mistreated. Now idk if he was or not a team player but obviously his brother Daryl was providing food and security for the camp so we shall see where we go from here. I like Daryl, he's the embodiment of bada*s rural south american. Susan, I see you got the merch with channel logo, nice touch on that. Is it available anywhere or still work in progress?

Merle is racist and a problem. One of the reasons he was making bad decisions was because he was high. You can see Rick flicking powder off of his nose and taking a vial of drugs out of his shirt pocket and throwing it away.
