I love the way they showed Daryl to us you could tell he’s a hunter and hot headed His whole interaction with Rick was hilarious RICK GRIMES You got something you wanna tell me😂
Michael Rooker is an amazing actor. That whole monologue on the rooftop was so cool. Also loved him in Guardians of The Galaxy and in other movies too.
As much as I dislike Lori sometimes I truly believe she would not have taken up with Shane if she knew Rick was alive Now I know it happened pretty fast but it was the Apocalypse not normal circumstances And remember at the time Rick was shot he and Lori were having marital issues Shane was probably there for Lori and Carl the whole time and when shit went down and they had to bail that only brought them closer.
The Grimes marriage was in trouble. Lack of communication, etc. Lori had questioned whether Rick cared or not. Rick did not address the question - instead he was upset by it. It was all laid out for us to glean. I wasted many years in a relationship where I was more or less ignored. Perhaps that's why I picked up on it straight away. I would also have trauma-bonded with Shane. The way he looked at her! I don't think Rick ever looked at her like that. It all messed up poor Lori. I neither liked or disliked her, but I really felt for her.
Maaaannnn, it was therapeutic at that time, especially w/ the Talking Dead that came on right after. We got into character, and the storyline is everything! Wish we could all go back and start from the beginning in REAL TIME!!! I.ve seen it from Genesis to Revelation maybe 100 times, and it still isn.t outplayed for me. Love the reactions
No, Lori isn't the one who put it out there. Remember the scene by the ironing board? Rick was telling her right there that he was going back. She said it sarcastically because she knew he was going and didn't like it.
The reunion scene is always a goodie..until they pan to Shane’s face…awkward! 😅 Question for Phil, have you seen the whole series? Or only a few seasons? Loving your reactions!😊
Might’ve taken too long. Also kinda hard with one hand. And a left hand. I do though always wonder why he didn’t break his thumb. Or if he had to cut, maybe just the thumb?
Shane didn’t know so it wasn’t as bad that he did what he did, but he should’ve at least told Lori that there was a possibility, that’s his flaw in that and also Lori is too much an exaggerative character. Shane and Lori were blinded in separate ways.
One thing I found odd about this episode, Rick was smart enough to clear out the weapons at the station, Shane was not. Then again there may have been some cops at the station. Still, I've always wondered. I've loved Norman Reedus (Daryl) since I saw him in Boondock Saints. I think Shane thought there was no way he could've survived. So, in his mind, it was best for her to believe he was dead. No spoiler in that comment. I blame Lori. She went with the affair within a very short time after Rick's "death". I don't understand that. I've lost two husbands, it took me years to consider another relationship.
@@kehinderufai7498 I don't disagree with that. At first I'm sure he thought getting his partner's family out of there was what he owed to a partner. I would think with all his knowledge with firearms, his first thought after that would've been firearms and bullets. Saying that, this rapidly became survival through a type of warfare. Granted there are weapons all over Georgia, but as a cop, he should've gone for the weapons/bullets first. I mean I was in the Army before women had to qualify on weapons, but that would have been the first thing I thought of. Then food, water, medications etc.
But, this is the apocalypse, circumstances are WAY different. It's easy to trauma bond and wanna be with someone who makes you feel safe and protected.
@@kimberlywilmoth9184 She knew Shame before this. Yes, it's easy to bond with someone, but sleep with them within a month of hearing your husband is dead? Nah, doesn't work for me.

Some pretty amazing acting from Michael Rooker (Merle) in that opening scene.
I ain’t begged you before I ain’t gonna BEG YOU NOW The rage and determination of that moment sells the lengths people go to in this world.
I seen you on quirky quota channel right?
Yeah I’m pretty much everywhere.
Lori didn't want Rick to go but knew he would because that's what he does

and anticipating what would happen next...
Haha definitely a cool feeling. But I missed out on these when they were live. Must’ve been a really fun experience seeing these in real time!

Choke holds are illegal. I love when Shane says douche bags what I meant

Its trippy watching the beginning again after knowing where the show went and ended.
7:35 Exactly! 😭😂
He knew he WAS alive. He didn't know he was STILL alive. But it is true he did lie to Lori, weeks(?) ago.
4:37 Now this, puts a smile on my face 😌
Love a great reunion. Btw, you guys have perfect teeth. I know off subject but I wasn't lucky with perfect teeth. Just saying

Thanks for watching with us! To answer your question -- In its original run, I saw up to around season 7 or 8. I'm honestly not sure which. haha
@@PhilipManzano awesome! Looking forward to you seeing season 9!! 😬😂🧟♀️
I don't know. I thought Shane looked genuinely happy.

Ouu. Good suggestion. We’ll add it to the list and throw it in a poll!

Shane was probably clever enough to get guns too. But he had to keep Carl and Lori safe.
