Negan: "I'm Negan. And I do not appreciate you killing my men. Also, when I sent my people to kill your people for killing my people, you killed more of my people. Not cool." Season 6 built up to this right moment where we're at, now, such a dreadful cliffhanger. And in this finale, the tension was built up so perfectly until we met Negan and the character terrified us!! to say the least. Those bat thuds felt like they were bashing our faces as it was killing one of our beloved characters. We waited a week before watching episode 7x1, which is nothing compared to how long most of you waited for it if you watched it while it was airing. So we will see you all Sunday for season 7, and we count on you, more than ever to keep the comments relevant to this epsiode. Another brilliant writing decision was to have Rick wearing his Murder Coat during this. Every time we saw him wearing it up until now, Rick was a complete badass psycho killer. But now, we see him wearing it and he is emasculated, humiliated, and helpless. It's brilliant writing.
Imagine having to wait 6-8 MONTHS to find out who it was…… It was sooooo awful! Lol! When the reveal happened, as awful as it was to know….. It also felt like a relief when we finally found out! 😂😂😂

There are many great moments and episodes, in the Walking Dead, that I think we all enjoy watching reactors see for the first time. This episode and the next one are among the top of the list. The next episode is called “The Day Will Come When You Won't Be” which is what Dr. Jenner told Rick in season 1 when he said they were grateful for letting them out of the CDC. We’ve come full circle. It’s a wild ride. Enjoy.
I will never forget how I felt the first time watching this. That along with the predictions following the cliffhanger for a year. Most painful wait ever.
This was the one time in my life where I truly wanted and _needed_ to see spoilers for any story I enjoyed. Thank goodness accurate ones were available after a while. They really helped at least with providing closure! This cliffhanger was the cruelest of all time, threatening to freeze us in the most horrific moment of the series for so many months. Weirdly S6 was my fave season, yet the cliffhanger from that season probably started me on the path that led me to progressively lose interest and quit the series for years (after or during season 9). Only now am I considering going back into it to see how the rest went, once I can refresh my memory on seasons 7-9.
The introduction to Negan was one of the biggest & most anticipated events to happen in TWD! That cliffhanger ending tho hurt us, especially since we had to wait MONTHS for the next episode.
The thing is all they had to do was show it and it would of been a perfect episode. And still would of left the start of the next season to surprise everyone including comic readers with the second death
I was reading the comics right when the show was peaking here, I wasn’t watching it but I still kept up cause I’ve always loved TWD. What’s weird is that I had guessed almost exactly what happens after the gap.
So many people were piiiiiiiiiissssssssed about this cliffhanger, but, like it or not, the goal was to get people talking for 6-7 months and it worked like a charm. I had people who didn't even watch TWD ask me who Negan killed. People were making graphs and matching the trees between shots, it was insane! It was a very active period in the fandom.
Thing is, for those 6-7 months hardly anyone was talking about who Negan killed. Almost everyone was talking about what bunch of shithouses the writters were for leaving us on such a stupid cliffhanger! For those of us who read the comics beforehand, it felt cheap. Though I suspect the real reason is they were scared people wouldn't come back for the next season if the didn't do it this way. I know a few people who quite watching because of the season 7 premier but, I know many more who quit because of this cliffhanger.
@TheHominidShow 1. Relax, keep the conversation civil, Rob, and Trin deserve that much. 2. I beg to disagree. I was a mod for 2 of the biggest TWD fan groups at the time, and I sifted through literally thousands of speculation posts that summer alone. Sure, there were/are detractors, but most of the fandom was pretty engrossed in the mystery. The comic readers thought they knew it all, the newbies were lost, the "insiders" had their own claims, armchair detectives had a feild day, and it was more fun than negative.
@@Zombie_Trooper 1. Don't be so condescending. 2. There was literally nothing in my last comment that wasn't civil. 3. I don't know which groups you were moderating but, from someone who was/is a member of dozens of TWD groups, I saw vastly more people complaining (comic readers and noobs alike) that the cliffhanger was stupid so, either mods like yourself were filtering out the positive comments, or you're scope wasn't wide enough. 4. You shoelaces are untied
You are so lucky to be watching episode 7x01 in a few days time. We had to wait 7 ( April 3, 2016 - October 23, 2016 ) months to see the resolution to this cliffhanger. During the hiatus, between seasons TWD fans were going crazy with theorizes, as to who the victim of Negan's attack was. Going as far as making charts of where everyone was in the line up and what the angle of his swing showed as to who got Lucilled.
The amount of videos ppl made speculating who Negan Lucilled were massive. "Oh it had to be this person because xyz..." this went on for weeks. It was crazy.
The next episode, S7 Ep 1, is a very emotional, extremely hard episode to watch. I've been able to watch every episode no less than a half a dozen times but not the next one. I've only been able to watch that one once, but I'm going to watch it with you guys on Sunday. Hang in there y'all. It's going to be a rough one.
I remember sweating bullets watching this episode. It was such a great decision showing the Saviors true strength by road blocks. Each one bigger and more dangerous.
The amount of anxiety I felt watching this episode, I’ve felt anxiety while watching episodes of course, but nothing to this extreme. The next episode broke so many people. The intimidation of Negan and The Saviors. His introduction is the best I’ve watched from a show. He is extremely charismatic while also making everyone shit themselves. The cliffhanger left so many people trying and figure out who we lost. Such an amazingly horrific episode. Negan is no joke. I hope you guys are able to continue after these next 2 episodes. So many stopped watching. Rick said to Jenner that he was grateful to be given the chance to survive, and he was. Until now.
And here he is... My absolute favorite character in the show. I love JDM as Negan. You love Negan, hate to love him or love to hate him - in any case he will make you feel something.
Yup, powerful character, his presence changes the whole show going forward. Even when the show fell a little bit in quality, Negan always brought a compelling element to it.
The first seconds I saw JDM as Negan I was surprised, disappointed and shocked. It seemed to be so wrong. In my mind he was still this lovely guy Danny from Grey's Anatomy and Daddy Winchester. But not such a cruel asshole. This must be a joke. But after the first moments he made me Love AND hate this Charakter. JDM is just brilliant!
I really love Jeffery dean Morgan as Negan like he fits the character so well I can’t wait for the next episode after this one but I love this episode and how they show Negan.
The Time is comeee, Here WE are... we're waiting this from the first season we fallow you move with you Thank you Rob&Trin. creating this cominity like family. let's sit back and watch this one of the greatest episode.
17:20 And here shows THE MAN! One of the greatest characters ever in the TV history comes to open another chapter of the story for all of the characters that is going to change everyone's lifes. I'm sure you are gonna enjoy every damn second of this incredible man, who is going to have an impact to the whole Universe of TWD one day.
And so ends season 6. Which is my personal favorite season. I just love the story from episode 1 to episode 16. A great natural pace and progression. From Rick coming around to trusting and believing in the people of Alexandria, to thinking they were an unstoppable force, to the moment he realized he didn’t know shit. A great parallel I loved about this episode and the first of the season is herding. In the premiere the group were herding the horde of walkers, and in the finale our group were being herded. It’s just one of those little things that draws a line and makes you wonder just who are the walking dead. In the case of the premiere it wasn’t definitively the walkers. In contrast during the finale, it was our group. We’ve seen the group survive Terminus, we’ve seen them come together and massacre a herd and take back their community. This however is different. Carol isn’t coming, there are no surprises rocket launchers, and the strongest members of the group are all on their knees. There is no getting out of this. Our group has lost.
If only you'd seen the absolute chaos that ensued over this cliffhanger back when it aired! The internet was in a frenzy trying to figure out who was killed! I was in school at that time and I just remember how my friends and I couldn't even pay attention in class because we were so stressed over the cliffhanger LOL
I remember interviews with the cast/writers where they said that they wanted the finale to be about the introduction of Negan, not about a death, hence the cliffhanger. You’re in for it in the next episode. Imagine having to wait a whole year for it!
the next episode will be called “the day will come when u wont be”. This is a reference to when Dr. Jenner told rick these exact words when he left the lab instead of staying to die peacefully with him. I think its a cool thing they always bring stuff back like sayings and ofcourse the backpack!
5:20 Fun Fact: There's a theory that Steven Ogg's character in Better Call Saul and his character here in TWD are the same person. This is because there is a theory with plenty of evidence that the events of Breaking Bad also happened in the TWD timeline. And in Better Call Saul, he never mentions his name in any of his appearances, he only goes by an alias called "Mr. X". So we can infer his real name is Simon as seen here.
Fun Fact: Steven Ogg wanted to play Negan and auditioned for the part but they chose JDM instead. But just like Daryl's role, the showrunners created another role for Steven Ogg, Simon. Negan's right hand man.
My anxiety is through the roof, haven’t watched this episode since it aired, but I decided to take this journey with you all😬. Always love the reactions.❤
The Ross Marquand cameo was awesome, he's a cutie and Aaron is a great character. A nice happy surprise for you before the bat came crashing down. You guys are spot on... cool, calm, collected, calculating Negan vs The Governor would end very very badly for The Gov. Negan would wipe the floor with his crazy ass. The Governor really was a psycho, but Negan is.... something else. I'll say no more. S6E16 and S7E1 are sooo stressful to watch. I'm glad for you that you didn't have to wait an eternity between the episodes like all of us watching as it aired had to. Are you pissing your pants yet? It's gonna be pee pee pants city here real soon. Fantastic reaction as always Rob and Trin, you never disappoint!!! 💜💜
welcome to where you going Rob and Trin :D you've just reached a turning point...you've reached the point where you either stop watching the show or this becomes the best thing you've ever watched..For me personally, this presentation of Negan is the best 20 minutes on television... The best villain in the history of the screen and the greatest monologue ever with an incredible performance by JDM.On your video in the sixth episode of the first season, I wrote a comment for you to remember the words of Dr. Jenner at the CDC. When he let the group escape, Rick told him "I'm grateful" and Jenner replied "the day will come when you won't be". The day will come when you won't be is the title name of the next episode and everything will be clear to you when you watch the episode.Imagine the build up of seven seasons leading to one moment... only Walking Dead can do that and that's why it's the greatest series of all time regardless of all the ups and downs! P.S. you are watching the uncensored version, but the censored version is much better and scarier.. When Negan swears less, he seems even scarier and more serious.. it literally puts fear in your bones
Brilliantly said! There will never be another series like this for me. The only reason I’m not in a metal hospital is because of the spin-offs, if it wasn’t for them, I would be lost🤧
I don't care what anyone says about what happens in the next episode and beyond, because I still love every second of this show, no matter how many times I've watched them, it keeps getting better! It may be devisive for some people, but I think it's all badass! The less you know before going into the next seasons, the better off you are: No expectations! It's in my top three favorite shows of all times. Maybe even #1!
I agree with you 100%! Even though season 8 was my least favorite, I did however enjoyed most of the episodes of that season. This series has been my life for 12 years. I never loved a show as much as I do this
I've been watching your journey in watching The Walking Dead from the start and I couldn't wait till you both got to this moment. I was thinking, when seeing you get emotional during other episodes "You've not seen NOTHING yet. You think the Governor is ruthless, wait till you meet Negan". The build up to this episode was immense for me and I still remember how tense I felt while watching it. If it's bad for you now in wanting to know what happened, imagine when we were all watching it when I came out and having to wait months to find out 😆 This episode is one of the best cliffhangers I've ever seen for a TV program, and Episode 1 for Series 7 is just as good.
And this is why we said do both episodes. This episode changed everything. It was the most stressful and to have to wait months before you find out was torture. Can’t wait for the next one hope it’s real soon.
Everybody had a theory. How Negan stands, his Shadow and all such funny things. The Crew filmed the Bat for every character so nothing could get spoiled
Andrew's acting is just stunning! That look in his eyes of complete terror is perfect! And there's more of that in the next episode! We had to wait six months for the next episode. That was murder for us!
This’ll always be one of the best Season finales to me because it shows the best and worst of humanity Negan’s introduction was basically word for word from the comics it took 6 full Seasons for Rick to actually look scared and intimidated We’ve never seen Rick like this.
This episode and the next one are definitely in my top 10 of the eleven seasons. The entire cast did an amazing job here. Each little reaction of them is perfect. You can feel them fear in the very end. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a perfect match portraying Negan. And what a delight to see Steven Ogg as Simon. I know you guys are further ahead already in season 7 but what have you thought about the writing, direction and acting in this episode ? Personally, each time watching it, I'm blown away. What a magic cast since day 1 ! Hope the both of you are doing good.
This episode and the introduction of Jeffery Dean Morgan was the reason I started to watch The Walking Dead in the first place. This was the first episode I watched then while waiting for the season 7 premiere I watched the first 6 seasons.
I met Ross (Aaron) back in 2018 and he gives the best hugs in the entire world! as well as another character you guys haven't met yet but he is the king at the show omg you guys will adore him but yeah those 2 actors literately give the best hugs in the world!
This is my favorite episode, the moment I came across this channel (when you guys were on season 2) I thought about this episode and I couldn’t wait for you guys to see it
The next episode is called “the day will come when you won’t be” which is what dr Jenner told Rick after he said he was “greatful” in season 1 episode 6
I don’t think I have any other show or moment that effects me this much EVERY TIME I SEE IT. Every time I see it is like the first. Never loses its scariness. I must have PTSD. from when you hear the first whistle while they’re walking in the WUUDS.
This and the following episode freaking traumatised me. Seriously. I have never felt such despair and burning in my chest while watching a show up until those two episodes. I've been loving your reactions from the start and here's a virtual hug, you'll need it.
I'm really glad you two have got to this point! I'm excited to see Sundays reaction. I actually found it surprisingly difficult to watch your reactions from about episode 13 onwards because of how stressed I was for this. It's incredible how an episode I watched years ago never fails to make me so stressed and anxious 🤣
And so it happened, After watching since the start of you guys watching, I was waiting for this point. I joined you guys on patreon after watching, because of the amount of hours of content, laughs and reliving this show through you guys. It's the least I can do. It'll probably be for only a month but I just wanted to give something back. Thanks guys!
omg I cannot tell you how long ive been waiting for you guys to watch this episode and the season 7 premier. its so emotionally draining but incredible in that sense. Ive never felt to emotionally scarred from a TV show and that says something. Incredible performances and filming its a work of art
I had chills just by watching your reaction to it. (: Glad you got to watch Negan's uncensored speech first. Next episode will show again what a great actor Andrew Lincoln is! I hope you guys will be alright after what lies ahead! 😱🤞🏼
Ricks “tough guy” front getting stripped away bit by bit as each group of saviors gets bigger, and by the end of the episode he is scared, running, then on his knees like everyone else, best part of the episode.
All of my close family was here for this premiere, all the aunts, uncles, and grandma 😭 I vividly remember sitting on my mom's lap while watching this, the absolute fear and shock this episode brought was insane. Everyone was screaming, I adore this episode
This has been such a wild experience im so invested in your series that it felt like I was watching this episode for the first time again the same feelings of dread and anxiety. Like woww
Brooooo it is finally upon us!! You are so lucky you are watching it now when it first aired we had to wait about 8-10 months to see who got the bat! I am excited to see your next reaction!
This introduction to Negan was amazing! The fear and hopelessness knowing our group is trapped is anxiety inducing. No one is there to save them. I’m very excited for sundays upload and love your reactions !
I am glad I got to binge this show, at the time season 9 was coming out when I started, I can't imagine having to wait months to see who died. I get why people where in uproar. Yeah, here is Negan, season 7 is really something. I ll get wine and pizza Sunday for emotional support😭😊❤️
When you guys were like "are you ready? I'm talking to him he doesn't look ready" I'm literally shaking my head no while you ask are you ready because it's about to get REAL 😭🤦🏽
I still remember watching the season 6 finale on live and I was so mad that we all had to wait for months just for season 7 to finally reveal who was hit by Negan
As well as loving the episode, I love how Trin asked something and answered it right away herself😂 "What the hell is wrong with this guy? Everything!" Keep up the amazing content guys! Much love!
oh man FINNALY. i have been waiting on this for months. and yes, THAT is how you do a cliffhanger. the 6 or so months we had to wait for season 7 to start were horrible. and as good as this season final was, the season opener for 7 takes it to a whole new level. and season 7 is dark, brutal, and at times heartbreaking. GREAT job guys. so much fun watching with yall. thank both of you.
Rick being scared for the first time was really scary since Rick has never faced an enemy like negan before. And I gotta tell you waiting for the next episode while it was on tv felt forever, all of the conversations I had with my dad and friends about who got Lucilled. Such a crazy episode! Next episode is gonna be very very sad for both of you I know I was beyond sad!
this episode and the subsequent season 7 opener were some of the most anticipated tv moments of all time. Everyone spent the whole summer theorizing who got the bat, and i remember walking into school the day after season 7 premier and it was the only thing people were talking about! truly infamous, and it was the peak in twds stardom
This is one of the most underrated episodes of this show.. It literally only gets shit because of the cliffhanger (Which isn't even that bad.. Even back then, I remember the hype and tension going into 7x1). It's one of my personal favourites, right up there with 7x1. Can't wait to see your reaction to the next episode!
Before I get into my triggered thoughts because I am crying and shaking all over ago. I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Ross Marquand. He is a complete sweetheart. Now on to my thoughts, this was the most anticipated episode ever on the Walking Dead and the next episode a lot of people say killed the series. I believe it was the heart break but a true fan sticks it through no matter what because at the end of the day. You love each and every character and you want to know how they survive this world we have come to know no matter what!
The intense look on your face, Rob, when Negan showed up was priceless. And the "Unseen" Trin sounded really, really intense as well. A great reaction. Remember now, those of us who watched as it happened had to wait about 6 or 8 months to find out who it was. So consider yourselves lucky!! And the cameo from Aaron was awesome. All the best to you, my friends, from Central Iowa, USA!
Thank you Jim, it was indeed some emotionally intense couple of episodes for us, we were even dreading editing them for youtube as we had to rewatch them again. Much love from both of us!
I remember watching this episode and biting my nails and sitting at the edge of my seat. And having to wait so many months for season seven episode one. So glad I get to experience This all over again with you two.
I know Rob n Trin has already watched the next few episodes so imma just gonna say...ur guess on the person when Negan was still swinging his bat was so remarkable and exceptional! I knew Rob's insights were good but didn't expect it to be this good...superb reaction!
Going into season 7 it’s definitely an slower season but personally i like it cuz it’s something kinda knew and our group is in an estate never been before so it’s kinda cool and new to watch s7 but it definitely gets better and better towards the end and going into season 8 one of the best and most action packed seasons I’m saying don’t lose hope on the walking dead like alot of people did after the premiere of s7 it is truly an amazing show
Notice the role reversal in 6x01 and 6x16. In 6x01, Alexandrians are herding walkers through the streets. Now, the saviors are herding the Alexandrians.
the moment TV peaked, can never get tired of this part, definition of a masterpiece, how to get everything right, everybody involved brought their A game for this and made sure this is something people wont forget :) this episode got the perfect build up for whats to come, love how they get the point across that our group is not gonna be okay :D the tension here can make even the coldest mofo a complete wreck :P
(I promise this is not a spoiler) others will probably tell you this on the next video but the title of the season 7 premiere is a reference to what Jenner said to Rick at the CDC at the end of season 1, "I'm grateful" "The day will come when you won't be..."
This intro of Negan was something people were waiting on forever since he debuted in the comics on issue #100. This is where everything changed and fans were hyped but also really scared as well
I always enjoy seeing your reactions to TWD episodes, and this is no exception! I don't leave comments on every episode, but I view, and I appreciate every one of your videos. I had forgotten parts of this specific episode, and what I can say, as I have in the past is that different characters and events have a profound effect on the people in the communities moving forward. Stay tuned!! You have the absolute best reaction channel ever!!👍
I remember the discussions everyone was having about the cliffhanger at the time, everywhere you went everyone was talking about it and trying to figure out who it was that died, if i remember rightly we had to wait a while for them to air the next episode which also helped people have time to discuss all their theories, and then they gut punch you with what happens next, and thats all i'm saying. no spoilers. Thanks for reacting.
I've watched a lot of shows and I honestly think this is one of greatest cliffhangers of all time. Waiting 6 months for the next episode was insane!! And the next episode is one of the greatest episode of TV ever made. Masterpiece.
This was an epic episode that nobody forgets. You are better off than most of us because we waited months and months to see who we lost. It is going to be difficult waiting for your next reaction.
I've watched and re-watched this show so many times, right up until this episode. I look forward to seeing it again through the lens of your reactions, but I doubt I'll ever watch this episode and the next one in context again. Even if I do a complete series re-watch, there are a handful of episodes I can't deal with again, ever.
whew, the sound design for that last scene is intense. Next episode is heartbreaking and keeps the momentum of the series in overdrive. Looking forward to your reaction, with a mixed feelings, cos it's a tough one
I haven't even clicked play yet on this video... but I am soooooooo excited we have made it this far! After watching, I cannot wait for next episode.. I was on the edge of my seat watching along with you, love how invested you both are too! we had to wait 6 months to find out who it was! 🙈
I know this finale gets some flack for the cliffhanger (since everyone who watched live had to wait 6 months to find out who died) but i didn’t mind I LOVE this episode and honestly it just solidifies to me why Season 6 is great love how ominous this episode feels and the slow realization of Rick and the squad that This might not be as easy as we thought even though we’ve gotten so used to them winning There was some very well done dread and terror creeping up on the character and us the audience with Rick himself slowly spiraling into hopelessness too From the music the line about it being their Last day on earth the chilling shots of the hanging body and burning logs and Negan’s people just standing in their way and whistling all had my heart racing the first time I watched this and still makes me get chills now lol At the end of it all we experience something we’ve never seen before Rick’s people genuinely cannot do ANYTHING They are completely surrounded outnumbered and are defenceless they are no longer in control of their fates and have met the REAL Negan I love to put myself in the shoes of the characters and I can safely say that being with Rick’s crew in the woods at night kneeling in that clearing and having my life threatened with nothing to save me (not even the damn ZOMBIES) is one of the scariest situations we’ve seen in this whole show. Long story short this is a fantastic finale to an amazing Season.
Negan: "I'm Negan. And I do not appreciate you killing my men. Also, when I sent my people to kill your people for killing my people, you killed more of my people. Not cool."
Season 6 built up to this right moment where we're at, now, such a dreadful cliffhanger.
And in this finale, the tension was built up so perfectly until we met Negan and the character terrified us!! to say the least.
Those bat thuds felt like they were bashing our faces as it was killing one of our beloved characters.
We waited a week before watching episode 7x1, which is nothing compared to how long most of you waited for it if you watched it while it was airing.

it's actually an unsolved crime that Andrew Lincoln has never won an Emmy for this episode (or the next one)... the mixture of despair, nervousness, frustration and defeat on his face and body language is literally top tier
It's not unsolved. Game of Thrones was EVERYWHERE by this point in TWD and the Emmy commitee clearly hate horror so... CASE CLOSED
Andrew and Jeffrey dean Morgan should have won for their brilliant performances

Another brilliant writing decision was to have Rick wearing his Murder Coat during this.
Every time we saw him wearing it up until now, Rick was a complete badass psycho killer. But now, we see him wearing it and he is emasculated, humiliated, and helpless.
It's brilliant writing.

Enjoy.
I agree bc I know my reaction 😭😭😭😭 and I loved seeing everyone else's reaction knowing what was about to happen
I will never forget how I felt the first time watching this. That along with the predictions following the cliffhanger for a year. Most painful wait ever.
dark times indeed
That cliffhanger ending tho hurt us, especially since we had to wait MONTHS for the next episode.
the biggest & most anticipated events in television history
@@19Marksman89 Indeed!
Was pure torture
Oh yes...I was thinking and analyzing and thinking about who got lucilled^^
Right, the analyzing videos with red arrows and shit, it was insane 🤣
You are so lucky to be watching episode 7x01 in a few days time.
We had to wait 7 ( April 3, 2016 - October 23, 2016 ) months to see the resolution to this cliffhanger. During the hiatus, between seasons TWD fans were going crazy with theorizes, as to who the victim of Negan's attack was. Going as far as making charts of where everyone was in the line up and what the angle of his swing showed as to who got Lucilled.
I mean it got spoiled pretty early bc of filming lol
@@survivorfan501 some people knows how to hide from spoilers 🤷♀️
@@survivorfan501 There were fake deaths recorded though that were going around too so you couldn’t be sure.
Hahaha! I was one of those. I went with the angle of the lights, the background over Negan's shoulder. LOL I was wrong.
The amount of videos ppl made speculating who Negan Lucilled were massive. "Oh it had to be this person because xyz..." this went on for weeks. It was crazy.
It was spoiled pretty early on bc of filming spoilers
These two episodes is the most nervous I’ve ever felt watching TV. Brilliantly executed as always.
Me too.
They're one of the best and saddest episodes of the walking dead ever!
@@Simonfromthewalkingdead easily. It’s other double/triple death episodes that are the saddest (barring Hershel) but this one takes the cake.
And the most nauseous
@@rumham7466 I honestly thought the troughs at Terminus was worse. It’s still horrific in this episode though.
Same! It’s felt unbearable to rewatch so I always skip it. But seeing it with Rob and Trin feels doable.
I remember sweating bullets watching this episode. It was such a great decision showing the Saviors true strength by road blocks. Each one bigger and more dangerous.
The saviors are really terrifying.
Hello fellow Negan and simon
Love him too❣️
So many spoilers on this thread.
Not true for everyone. He's actually the reason I had to stop watching the show. So I just hate him and hate that.
I really love Jeffery dean Morgan as Negan like he fits the character so well I can’t wait for the next episode after this one but I love this episode and how they show Negan.
one of the best casting choices ever made
please don't make us wait too long for the next one 😭😭
sunday
Must wait till Sunday :C
@@ananasdragen5782 that's alright
The Time is comeee, Here WE are... we're waiting this from the first season we fallow you move with you Thank you Rob&Trin. creating this cominity like family. let's sit back and watch this one of the greatest episode.
17:20 And here shows THE MAN! One of the greatest characters ever in the TV history comes to open another chapter of the story for all of the characters that is going to change everyone's lifes. I'm sure you are gonna enjoy every damn second of this incredible man, who is going to have an impact to the whole Universe of TWD one day.
"I'm 100% ready..!" No, you are not. No one was ready for this 😏 Love this and the following episodes so much ♥️
And so ends season 6. Our group has lost.
well said 🙏🏼 this is the first time our group has truly lost
"he doesn't look ready"
Rob points right into my soul.
I don't think I've ever been more scared and attracted. Gave me major Rick energy.
IF DARYL DIES, WE RIOT! 😂😂
Oh man this was such a crazy cliffhanger having to wait for the next season my god 😭😭😭
What are the new shows you will be watching. You have good content as well.
We have a queen in the comments section. All hail her majesty.
I remember interviews with the cast/writers where they said that they wanted the finale to be about the introduction of Negan, not about a death, hence the cliffhanger. You’re in for it in the next episode. Imagine having to wait a whole year for it!
You had to wait a year? I only had to wait 6 months, can’t imagine having to wait 365 days.
the next episode will be called “the day will come when u wont be”. This is a reference to when Dr. Jenner told rick these exact words when he left the lab instead of staying to die peacefully with him. I think its a cool thing they always bring stuff back like sayings and ofcourse the backpack!
Hell yeah this episode. The build up to this is so insanely eerie, and the next one delivers so goddamn much.
I never loved a show as much as I do this
Same! Alot of friends dropped off after "certain events" but I was all in. That's good writing for film or book. You keep going to the end.
@@lynncantrell2782 🤘🏻👨🏻🦲👍🏻
Hell yeah, thank you!
@@morrisgautreau6704 you are welcome 🥰
I've been watching your journey in watching The Walking Dead from the start and I couldn't wait till you both got to this moment. I was thinking, when seeing you get emotional during other episodes "You've not seen NOTHING yet. You think the Governor is ruthless, wait till you meet Negan". The build up to this episode was immense for me and I still remember how tense I felt while watching it. If it's bad for you now in wanting to know what happened, imagine when we were all watching it when I came out and having to wait months to find out 😆
This episode is one of the best cliffhangers I've ever seen for a TV program, and Episode 1 for Series 7 is just as good.
And this is why we said do both episodes. This episode changed everything. It was the most stressful and to have to wait months before you find out was torture. Can’t wait for the next one hope it’s real soon.
It’s gonna be a long wait until Sunday.
@@bradcarver8127yes it isssssss😭
Negan is a vicious villain. It was hard to wait for the next episode after this cliffhanger.
I know you guys are further ahead already in season 7 but what have you thought about the
writing, direction and acting in this episode ?
Same. This is my first time revisiting since it airs. I refer to it still at least once a month though.
Im so glad you're watching uncensored it makes him so much more intimidating
This and the following episode freaking traumatised me. Seriously. I have never felt such despair and burning in my chest while watching a show up until those two episodes. I've been loving your reactions from the start and here's a virtual hug, you'll need it.
It still is the most visceral feeling I have had as a viewer.
A new big baddie's in town! These are the emotionally most difficult episodes in all of TWD. I really feel for you, Rob and Trin!
I feel the same way, I actually feel for them knowing what's coming! I'm worried for them! It hurts!!
I can't wait for the next reaction. I'm assuming there will be tears.
I had chills just by watching your reaction to it. (:
Glad you got to watch Negan's uncensored speech first.
Next episode will show again what a great actor Andrew Lincoln is!
I hope you guys will be alright after what lies ahead! 😱🤞🏼
Episode 1x6
Rick: I’m grateful
Dr Jenner: The day will come when you won’t be
Ricks “tough guy” front getting stripped away bit by bit as each group of saviors gets bigger, and by the end of the episode he is scared, running, then on his knees like everyone else, best part of the episode.
Wow, Cameo from Aaron! I can still remember Rob and Trin wants him dead when they first saw him in the show....wahahahaha
Lost is my favorite show, think I'm going to rewatch your playlist on that.
I'm literally at school watching this. I couldn't wait to watch it until I got home I must watch it NOW
This episode is so scary because of how they introduce Negan and awesome reaction.
I'm talking to him he doesn't look ready"
I'm literally shaking my head no while you ask are you ready because it's about to get REAL 😭🤦🏽
I still remember watching the season 6 finale on live and I was so mad that we all had to wait for months just for season 7 to finally reveal who was hit by Negan
As well as loving the episode, I love how Trin asked something and answered it right away herself😂
"What the hell is wrong with this guy? Everything!"
Keep up the amazing content guys! Much love!
oh man FINNALY. i have been waiting on this for months. and yes, THAT is how you do a cliffhanger. the 6 or so months we had to wait for season 7 to start were horrible. and as good as this season final was, the season opener for 7 takes it to a whole new level. and season 7 is dark, brutal, and at times heartbreaking.
Having to wait A YEAR to know what the hell happened was crazy back then. Can't wait for next episode !
RIP to the camera man, he took it like a champ

this episode and the subsequent season 7 opener were some of the most anticipated tv moments of all time. Everyone spent the whole summer theorizing who got the bat, and i remember walking into school the day after season 7 premier and it was the only thing people were talking about! truly infamous, and it was the peak in twds stardom
The episode everyone hated but definitely the biggest and scariest episode of TWD! No fan will ever forget this one…
I actually loved this episode 🤷♀️
It was so well done
I love this episode. I think it's very underrated because of it's cliffhanger.
Going into season 7 it’s definitely an slower season but personally i like it cuz it’s something kinda knew and our group is in an estate never been before so it’s kinda cool and new to watch s7 but it definitely gets better and better towards the end and going into season 8 one of the best and most action packed seasons I’m saying don’t lose hope on the walking dead like alot of people did after the premiere of s7 it is truly an amazing show
Thank you for the cameo again Amanda, you are a
Hope you're well 👍
Notice the role reversal in 6x01 and 6x16.
"That's the worst cliffhanger of all time"
Hell yeah.
FINALYYYYYYYYY you guys have met Negan, the one and only NEGAN.
OH BOY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS EPISODE FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW
I remember the discussions everyone was having about the cliffhanger at the time, everywhere you went everyone was talking about it and trying to figure out who it was that died, if i remember rightly we had to wait a while for them to air the next episode which also helped people have time to discuss all their theories, and then they gut punch you with what happens next, and thats all i'm saying. no spoilers.
Thanks for reacting.
I've watched a lot of shows and I honestly think this is one of greatest cliffhangers of all time. Waiting 6 months for the next episode was insane!! And the next episode is one of the greatest episode of TV ever made. Masterpiece.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan was the BEST thing to happen to TWD. He took this character by the horns and was true to the comic book. He really is NEAGAN!!!!
Waiting for the next episode was absolutely terrifying and nerve wracking for months and months!
Damn throwback watching this episode I was on the edge of my couch
This was an epic episode that nobody forgets. You are better off than most of us because we waited months and months to see who we lost. It is going to be difficult waiting for your next reaction.
I've watched and re-watched this show so many times, right up until this episode. I look forward to seeing it again through the lens of your reactions, but I doubt I'll ever watch this episode and the next one in context again. Even if I do a complete series re-watch, there are a handful of episodes I can't deal with again, ever.
Sooo cool how Ross shouted u guys out!!! Awesome and a great reaction as always
whew, the sound design for that last scene is intense.
When watching this live in 2016, we had to wait 6 months to see who died by Negan
