Thanks, UA-cam, for posting this classic tale of Kane ! I'm impressed and curious about whether or not Kane's character was ever put out in a comic book or a graphic novel 🤔?
Eureka!!! I have found the channel I have been so long craving for. Thank you so much for your efforts to bring these stories to life. So well done. I hope many will come to know these great stories and authors of this genre. Yay !!!
Good work! Fun fact: A professionally produced audiobook version of this story was read by none other than Roger Zelazny, who also wrote a book or two of his own. Inter-Library Loan can probably make the audiotape available to US residents.
I have the five main Kane books in 1970s vintage mass market paperback. This story is the second in *Night Winds.* Not, IMO, one of the best of the Kane stories, but it and the one before it in the same collection, "Never, Dessylyn," give much more of Kane's background than most of the other stories.
@@thrillingsuspensefantasy - Still being worked on. I am biased, but this is far more accurate than the Dale Rippke map that is used for the end papers of the Night Shade Books editions of Gods in Darkness and Midnight Sun. Currently, it is very near to a complete, pole to pole Western Hemisphere; the Great Northern and Great Southern Continents. The Eastern Hemisphere, including the Lartroxian Supercontinent, the Thovnosian Island Empire, and the Southern Lands will require considerably more work.
Was looking for more sword and sorcery after rereading REH's conan at least 3 times. This is gold.
I’ve wanted to hear these Kane stories in audiobook form for a long time. Brilliant job thank you
Happy to provide!
Same.
this is a true classic
A mighty fine narrator. Let us know if and when these are compiled into an audio file. Great job.
Hey! Thank you. Can you let me know what you mean by an audio file? Are you looking for a downloadable mp3 or something? Interested to hear!
Wagner is brilliant.
Can't believe I've missed his work between Conan and Elric.
This is awesomely dark.
Thank you very much!
Glad you enjoy, Kane is a treat!
I love your Kane audiobook so much. The ambiance is so strange and melancholic. Please do more of the Kane short stories !
Thank you for the upload...subscribed

Thank you so much. Just finished this one and now go to listen to a last song of valdesa and I subscribe to you as well.
Thank you...I've only been waiting for 47 years.
I think it's been about 40 years for me. Every bit worth it.
One of my favorite stories by Wagner
I love it too! Do you have it in Night Winds or collected in another volume? Where people access Kane stories fascinates me

Super excited to see this today so quickly after the last one! Your narration is so good you deserve way more subs
Woah! Thanks, much appreciated. Hoping the channel continues to grow!
Looking forward to more Kane stories read by you. Myself, I am working on a very detailed and accurate map of Kane's world.
That is a wonderful and exciting thing you're working on!

I have the older editions with the Frazetta covers
26:40. Cool quote
Dwasllir says cool stuff I’m with ya. His whole anti-human speech is a blast but I think you found an especially resonant part
Fantastic job as always!
Thank you!
Love it!
Thanks!!
I find myself relating a lot to Kane at certain moments in this tale
"tell them Kain is coming"
Sounds bout right 15:03
Is it copyright free? Can you post it?
I hope it's okay to post! I certainly wish Wagner's estate the absolute best.
