    Is this in the Mirage? ...I was so bored in my Las Vegas visit that I ended up walking through almost every casino hotel that's reasonably close to the BB filming location...

    As someone who just competed with his antweight last Saturday, that arena is awesome. But I wonder how those UHMW floor panels hold up after a full day of robot combat.

      They'd sure make any bots using magnets cry. (:

      i imagine an impotant part of them holding up is those robots are more show robots then combative ones. I imagine they'd hold up a tad better than PLywood ones like NHRL use for full on combat though... like i know very little about UHMW, but it cant be so crazy that spinners or titanium cletes arent gonna tear it up

    Do you get paid for being on live television during the BattleBots seasons, or the golden bolt?

    • @SkorpiosBattlebot
      @SkorpiosBattlebot  6 місяців тому +2

      It varies season to season however the average has been they give you $1000 for winning a fight and 200 for losing. Even if you win the whole thing, it is very unlikely to cover your costs of competing.

      Depending on how complicated your Robot is, you need anywhere from $20-$50,000 to Enter a robot competitively

      I know a lot of people think I won $25,000 on the first bounty hunter season. However if you listen closely to Chris and Kenny, they keep calling at “a $25,000 purse” that means the 25K was split among all nine contestants.
      I actually came back with $8000 of the purse for winning it. The bounty boss got 5000. The runner up got like three and it went further down the further down you were.

      @@SkorpiosBattlebot ok thank you for the info that was very helpful and informative, I love watching you fight, I have also been watching battle bots for many years now, and I have been always wondering how much you guys get paid. I can’t wait to see the new Scorpios in action taking home the giant nut.

      @@SkorpiosBattlebot Uh, this is a bot posting, btw. They are trying to sell "youtube views" using your channel as their advertising location.
