They have Mech fights in Japan, I've seen a couple of vids on YT.😲 They're kinda slow though but I guess you have to start slow to work out the bugs and stuff and learn from ur mistakes.😄
I thought Terrortops won that one, and the judges agreed! Like, WOW! Only minimal, superficial damage while tearing Mammoth into bits! I think the dino beats Woolly in this one! As for Slammo versus Gruff? No debate on who won that! And Big Dill! Who, baby! That bot left Bloodsport in... hehe.. a pickle!
I think the is the highest counter of successful bites/crushes I have ever seen in a BattleBots Fight. Good job Quantum. Although the last bites were into an already dead robot.
How to add color to fights: have Chris and Kenny record commentary and have Faruq announce teams coming out, winners in JD's, etc. How not to add color to fights: add awful looking CGI effects, add an idiotic hammer counter (which was counting all the hammers for the whole episode? WHY??), add in screen shake for big hits so we can't see what happened, and lay down the most generic free-to-use music underneath fights. That was some of the worst edited BB fights I've ever seen, which really took away from the fights themselves (some of which were good!). And on top of that, it had to take more time and effort to add in that garbage!
Quantum was awesome. I love how it sinks its fangs in. I've often wondered why more don't use hydraulics as a weapon - done right, I think they could be formidible for crushing, piercing.
I call BS that Big Dill one that. It was a good match but it was absolutely mangled by the end. 1 fork, the whole spinner mechanism was removed from the bot, vs. a little fire and a much longer working primary.
pretty sure self inflicted damage is considered damage for the enemy although bloodport did do more damage big dill definitely controlled the fight towards the end more i could see it going either way
@@zjanez2868 Damage has a higher weight, there's way more damage done to Big Dill than Bloodsport, regardless of who inflicted it. I'll give Big Dill the win on control, but aggression is tied. Since damage holds the most weight, Bloodsport is, or should be, the victor.
@@ZerotheWanderer i doubt that damage was very significant At the end both had offline weapons and bloodsport probably had more internal damage(sparks and fire). Armor damage matters less than internal. Under these rules there isnt such a thing as tying for a category so the ruling probably was 3-2 damage for bloodposrt and 2-1 control and agression for big dill
NICE, love the addition of music and new edits (mostly the hammer count and weapon offline messages). For the most part I agree with every judge's decision, think Overhaul won the chainsaw fight though...despite losing two wheels for seemingly no reason (they REALLY need to double-check those wheels more often). The main event admittedly was a pretty tough call to make (personally I thought Bloodsport won based mainly on the amount of damage they caused), but considering that when Bloodsport's weapon went offline Big Dill had the upper hand in every exchange from that moment on I can see why the judges decided them as the winner. Rusty...bless his little heart, he certainly tries. Terrortops I had a feeling had potential and this seems to prove that they REALLY do. Deathroll should probably make a habit of checking for weapon durability at this point, most of the time when they lose it tends to be due to weapon failure. Kraken will HOPEFULLY learn to effectively drive with their blade weapon at full speed one of these days...sooner rather than later would be preferable. Doomba with his minibots is so cute...largely ineffective, but cute nonetheless.

@@conniee. Exactly.. battlebots are much better in presentation than Robot wars.. I don't even like the arena hazards and additional arena robots.. battlebots keeps it simple n entertaining..
Does anybody else's eyes hurt whenever they flash those overlay effects?
Imagine how embarrassing it is for Overhaul to lose against Doomba. Especially when he delivered a knockout against them in the very final seconds.
I feel like Doomba laying there was INTENDED
100% agree
Charles didnt felt embarassed at all at this point Overhaul is just like a mentor to new robots in the field
Its not meant to win anymore and Charles said it himself that he doesnt fight for wins he fights for entertainment
@@matt6260 Nice to know.
Still got robbed of that fight. Literally picked up a bit and suplexed them on another bot, this travesty shant stand xD
Gruff works well as a hammer bot, if they have that in their bag I hope we see more of it!
This but with commentary is the format the TV show needs to be in. All killer no filler.
Great event doomba won a fight, big dill with a upset, and gruff having a sneak peek about his new design
Finally, Doomba won.
It was the damage category that got him the win I think
@@AlolaMaskedYT yes ripping of the wheels
I love seeing big dill perform good, especially win. I think it was the aggression and control that gave him the dub
Came for hammer Gruff, stayed for hammer Gruff. 🔥🔥🔥
Agreed, a big improvement over the lifter. Just wish the fight was better.
Chainsaw battle instead of chair? Overhaul better not ditch the chainsaw like it did with chair
There was a plan for a swordfight between Overhaul and Skorpios as well, but then Skorpios got wrecked repeatedly during the season unfortunately.
Source: The Skorpios Builder Blog from filming, where they handed Charles a katana.
I can just here the crowd going: Take his chainsaw! Take his chainsaw!
Last video a full episode, now full events, this is going to be awesome!!
Rusty is a first generation robot depending on its weight and odd shape to keep it going. I love Rusty. Underdog supreme.
Man these edits hurt me deeply. Fights are cool but my god they went way over the top with the edits
Yeah, watching matches on 4ra with friends is the best. We all get so hyped!
Pay Kenny and Chris more, they bring so much to the show
This is so much better without commentary.
Please do not hire these film editors again.
Ur right
HAHAHA. Yes. They are so bad. The fake broken lens effects are brutal.
I literally thought I was watching highlights until I realized the clock was running normal 😂😂 video was hard to watch
Lol
Yeah and there's no way that's 190cm and +2 meters .. and what we need is a battle between hydra and end game I want to see hydra sending that one flying to it's END 😂🤣😭
I liked it 👍👍 less talking, more action 🤖
A fitting tribute to Marc Thorpe. Rest in peace Marc 🕯️
"Quantum" looks a lot like "Razor" from the Robot Wars series. It dominated the Bots on that program too.
when you have access to razer it helps.
loving the Gruff hammer, the forks were always a bit meh
and whoever edited this together, tone down the effects and graphics, just the fights are necessary
Mammoth just got dissected by Terrortops. That big weapon seems more bark than bite, looking at how it came apart during the fight
I think we need a Quantum-versus-Witchdoctor fight!
Quantum would get absolutely smashed
@@ryanamburgy2791
If Witchdoctor manages to get to him fast enough, otherwise he might come around to WitchDoctor's side and impale their motors.
11:40 now thats a good driver! Of the black and yellow...he puts the back forks out to hold opponent off while front blade charges, then turns around and decimates!
This is probably the closest we got to real steel
They have Mech fights in Japan, I've seen a couple of vids on YT.😲 They're kinda slow though but I guess you have to start slow to work out the bugs and stuff and learn from ur mistakes.😄
Glad to see y'all again, didn't no you were on YT. Still as exciting as ever. Liked and subbed immediately.
Great event.
Greeting from Ukraine!
I thought Terrortops won that one, and the judges agreed! Like, WOW! Only minimal, superficial damage while tearing Mammoth into bits! I think the dino beats Woolly in this one! As for Slammo versus Gruff? No debate on who won that! And Big Dill! Who, baby! That bot left Bloodsport in... hehe.. a pickle!
Last season we had a chair fight and this season we have a chainsaw fight can we have a Ladder fight next season 😂😂
Oh my god i remember this show! I loved this as a kid!
Always love seeing Mammoth in the arena. I also like seeing other lesser known bots like Double Tap have a fight
double tap got owned lol. they were the perfect size to get eaten
I think the is the highest counter of successful bites/crushes I have ever seen in a BattleBots Fight. Good job Quantum. Although the last bites were into an already dead robot.
17:00 Double Tap looks impressive but is completely ineffective.
I was so happy to see Quantum again
Never edit like this again please

The best part of battlebots is that they can be really entertaining sometimes
Hope to see minotaur in action as soon as possible
They should make a BattleBots video game!!
I was so confused about what was going on with that counter
Bro, 4rabet, also known as 4rabet, hosting the World Cup T20 soon is a dream come true for cricket fans
I rather enjoy the new graphics, but I despise the glass shattering across the screen.
Agreed
Quantum was awesome. I love how it sinks its fangs in. I've often wondered why more don't use hydraulics as a weapon - done right, I think they could be formidible for crushing, piercing.
Im very confused as to how doomba got the win against overhall when overhall was just straight up picking it up and flipping him.
the stylized editing is at the level I would do if I tried editing.
that's not a compliment.
Dear editing director, No. You know what I'm referring to
Can't wait for the next game. Betting and cheering on 4ra with everyone is the best
I call BS that Big Dill one that. It was a good match but it was absolutely mangled by the end. 1 fork, the whole spinner mechanism was removed from the bot, vs. a little fire and a much longer working primary.
It isn't all about damage...
pretty sure self inflicted damage is considered damage for the enemy
although bloodport did do more damage big dill definitely controlled the fight towards the end more
i could see it going either way
@@zjanez2868 Damage has a higher weight, there's way more damage done to Big Dill than Bloodsport, regardless of who inflicted it. I'll give Big Dill the win on control, but aggression is tied. Since damage holds the most weight, Bloodsport is, or should be, the victor.
@@SFCJack It's the most weighted category.
@@ZerotheWanderer i doubt that damage was very significant
At the end both had offline weapons and bloodsport probably had more internal damage(sparks and fire). Armor damage matters less than internal.
Under these rules there isnt such a thing as tying for a category so the ruling probably was 3-2 damage for bloodposrt and 2-1 control and agression for big dill
I met Jeremy from team gruff at Motorama 2024, PA
This was cool but I prefer the commentators, for what it’s worth
Thank you so much Battlebots. Very exciting show!
I personally don’t mind the film editing, I just love to watch robots fighting each other :)
ARE YOU TELLING ME THEY *BATTLE* THESE *BOTS!!!*
So there are these people... who battle bots. Aand that's pretty much it.
Yes
breh the design of that Quantum bot is awsome, that thing was fekn HUNGRY XD
