This could be happened for many reasons (high speed of the ball, mistake on trajectory valutation, bad activation before the serve, slow movement adactation to the ball trajectory, bad choise in how to face the server, ext).You must do a lateral bagher or if the ball is in front of your face or over you can also using the set. However, you should move backward with correct foot behind referred to the correct side that you have evaluated the ball. The most important thing is always the quality of the platform that touching the ball. Do a lot of exercises for extrarotation of the elbows and for the bagher handle, big works against the wall (singol arm both right and left divided, bagher with push with step forward behind exc..). After you put a lot of preathletics movements and posture (very important are the feet, as you can imagine). After you go on court and stat to block easy ball over net (in right position, perfect balance like someone is making a picture of you, blocked). After that you put the platform and try to receive, many times and many differences of type of serves. Enjoy in to the gym.

what is the purpose of training okuriashi?
