Hi Catherine!!! This is Sandy from Detroit Michigan, Omg you did it again another great recipe that is so easy thank you so much for sharing you are amazing, every day in the morning after my prayers, your videos are the first thing I check while I'm having my morning coffee.... I hope you know you are making a lot of women happy with your recipes... GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY 🙏🙏🙏💜
I have now made these wonderful buns three times and I want to share some of my experiments with you. I have made these with one can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls in a nine inch pie plate or an 8 or 9 inch square pan, and I have used store brand rolls (they are harder to handle than the doughboy brand so handle carefully.) I have used halved amounts of all the ingredients and I added raisins one time and pecans one time. You can experiment!
I used one can of grand cinnamon rolls and just a little over a fourth of a cup of whipping cream made up my cinnamon for the top just like she did but added pecans to it and then I put pecans and raisins in the cinnamon rolls before I put them in the pan absolutely wonderful thank you for sharing
I make these a lot. I use the 5 grands Cinnabon cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting. They fit perfectly in an 8 or 9 inch round or square pan. I adjusted the additional ingredients accordingly. You would need more for your family. They last for days. I only eat one.
Cindy , do you half the add on ingredients? And do you adjust the temp and bake time at all? Thanks for tip! There is only myself and my sister to eat these yummy looking rolls❤️
@@carolineconnor2156 I bake them uncovered for the time on the can and then after that, I tent with foil and bake a few more minutes.. I half this recipe. I buy the Pillsbury Cinnabon rolls with cream cheese icing and I don’t make additional icing. They’re pretty gooey without it. Here’s the recipe. Ingredients ▢ 2 (17.5 ounce) cans of refrigerated Grands cinnamon rolls (there are 5 large cinnamon rolls in each can) ▢ 1 cup heavy whipping cream ▢ 8 tablespoons salted butter melted, divided ▢ ⅓ cup brown sugar ▢ ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon ▢ 4 ounces cream cheese (½ block) ▢ 1 cup powdered sugar Instructions Preheat your oven to 350F degrees. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place the 10 cinnamon rolls in an even layer into the dish. Set aside the icing in the cans for later. Pour the heavy cream over the cinnamon rolls and in between each one. In a small bowl melt 4 tablespoons of butter and stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour the brown sugar butter mixture evenly over the cinnamon rolls. Cover the pan with foil and place in the oven. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the rolls from the oven and set aside while preparing the icing. In a medium bowl add the remaining 4 tablespoons of butter and the 4 ounces of cream cheese. Microwave for 30 seconds just until the butter and cream cheese are very soft. Whisk the butter and cream cheese together until well combined. Add in the 2 containers of icing that come with the cinnamon rolls. Whisk in the powdered sugar. Spread the icing evenly over the top of the cinnamon rolls. Then serve while warm!
Catherine, whenever I watch your videos, I always bring a snck with me because when you are cooking, I get so hungry! What a decadent recipe ! Thanks for sharing.
I'm thinking of adding canned apple pie as a topping, perhaps pumpkin pie or cherry pie.. flavors that go well with cinnamon and would look pretty for fall or Christmas! I love your channel, Catherine. 😍
Oh my gosh! Those look amazing! This reminds me of another fairly new recipe. A dump cake where you fill a 9 by 13 baking Pan with 2 cans of the cinnamon rolls. Then put cream cheese frosting over that over that and yhan you sprinkle a cinnamon swirl cake mix over top of that Then just dot the top with pads of butter.
I've made these with the grands cinnamon rolls and they are the Best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. I'll be 70 in a few weeks, and I am having these instead of cake!
My daughter made these last weekend, she brought them for us because we had an all day canning day. ( did 17 jars of peaches) the cinnamon buns were delicious... can't wait to make these myself.
@@Cooking_Through_Time I just got my blood work back yesterday my A1C hasn't moved 😒 they put me on ozempic the side effects are horrible and I really want to make those cinnamon rolls
@@debbieschultz106 yeah, the bad side effects are a challenge to deal with. There are some good side effects though. My A1C went down 2.5 points in the first 5 weeks alone. 😳
@@debbieschultz106 my sugar and carb intake reduced mainly because of the side effects; nausea, etc. Both overeating and snacking were reduced. Oh how I LOVE cinnamon rolls! My mom always made them from scratch which I have no fortitude for. These look soooo good. I am definitely making these. I'll take them to work so I won't eat them all. You have to know I would!
Baker here. I was taught this method many years ago. Originally it was with homemade rolls. We put the melted butter and sugar on the bottom of the pan , where it caramelizes , put the rolls on top and let them rise. Then lightly pour 1/2 to 3/4 cup heavy cream in the cracks. Bake and frost.

Actually you can pour the cream and butter/sugar mixture on top and . You can also half the recipe and put in 8x8. They are delicious! I only use the already made icing. I don’t see a need to deluxe the topping, but you can. I think these would be great with raisins and pecans.
I just made this recipe following your recipe. Omg it is delicious. My family really love it!!!!Thank you I am following for great easy to make recipes.
MMMMMM sounds so good and so easy. A great change for a plain cinnamon roll. I am going to have to try this. I enjoy watching you so much. Thank you for sharing.
I used the wonderful Rhodes cinnamon rolls frozen in a bag .. defrosted them overnight in the refrigerator ... sprayed pan and sprayed underside of Saran Wrap that went over the roles in the refrig.. then continued with the usual recipe.. so much better than the canned cinnamon rolls!
@@deeannwichert3812 do you think the bread dough is really any different than the R Cinn rolls, or is it just that you like to roll out your own shape? Either way there much richer than the canned biscuits and have so much better flavor and texture
