Can we just stop and applaud this woman for a minute 🎉 I baked last weekend for my Gkids and my back hurt, there was flour EVERYWHERE. You are a true gem 💎💖
I made cinnamon roles and breakfast for my daughter’s prom date and her friend and her date - they finished up at the prom basically just four friends, and arrived to my house at about 1.00 am. They extended the party over omelettes and bacon and cinnamon rolls and fruit and orange juice. It was sweet and innocent and pure and I knew our children were safe, behaving and having a fun experience. No alcohol, no dangerous country roads. And, the girls were home to my house and the boys went home from my house. I was the maitre d, and waited on them discreetly. It was wonderful fun!! You’ve made me want to try this again. Your recipe looks better than mine!! Thank you so much!!
I used to keep my children home from school 1 day sometime before Christmas and we would all bake all day long. Then they could take a plate of their goodies that THEY made to the teacher with a card they made. They were so proud that they did it. My friend always comments how my kitchen counters were FILLED with cookies and candies. We always had such a great time and it took the next day to get the kitchen clean - but SO worth it.
Made these cinnamon rolls today & they are delicious. I had never heard of mashed potatoes in them but they are lovely. I’m 84 years old & so enjoy your videos. It’s so wonderfull to see a home with strong God & family values like I grew up with.
@@user-uq2sq5wg9b I haven't made this recipe, yet. But I regularly bake bread with mashed potatoes in it (i.e. potato bread). My great grandmother passed down her cinnamon roll recipe which includes mashed potatoes. This recipe came from her German ancestors. I used to help my mom make these. There is no better recipe in the world.
@@ChristineRobinette-m8c I've baked them twice since my first response. I needed to half the amount of water, probably because I don't scoop the flour (I go with the weight in grams, i.e. 125g per cup). My oven runs hot, so I had to adjust baking temperature to about 340F/25 min. Otherwise, the recipe works like a charm. Since it's only my husband and I, I halved the original recipe (using 3 eggs and adjusted the water accordingly). This gave me 24 rolls, 12 per form. First time around, I made them as sticky buns. Very decadent and delicious. Second time, I used a cream-cheese filling instead: 8 oz cream cheese, 1 1/3 c sugar, 16 tpbs soft unsalted butter, cinnamon, a dash of cardamom -> mix with handmixer until well blended. Mind you, this is the amount I used for just 24 rolls. Will definitely make these again, recipe now lives in my recipe folder as "Amish cinnamon rolls".

Love your channel. When I got married I couldn’t cook and started watching a PBS program Cooking from Quilt Country about Amish cooking. I ended up getting that cookbook and taught myself to cook. I added many Amish cookbooks over the years. Also have one called Mennonite Cooking . Those cookbooks are full of wonderful information and were my go to for everything. Watching your channel is a pleasure and brings back memories of my own journey as a homemaker.
This channel is my guilty pleasure, I commend you. You are such a loving wife and mother. You are so active and caring. It’s awesome to see we still have good families in this country.
I loved making cinnamon rolls with my mother, she even enjoyed me helping! I have made them twice by myself over the many years that has passed. I wish I had known about using potatoes many years back. My mom was known for her bread and rolls and I think that would have made them more stellar. I was blessed with a mom that loved cooking and baking that had the patience to teach me so many things.
You are the only cook on youtube my husband has said he would like to spend time at your home and eat anything you cook or bake, which I feel the same! I think its also your personality that draws us in ! Going to try & make these for my husband since cinnamon rolls are his absolute favorite!
I agree with your husband regarding eat anything she cooks. I will even fly from CA to Iowa and clean the entire house from top to bottom for one or two of her meals ☺👍👍
This brought back some beautiful memories. My boys coming in from school and yelling Mom made cinnamon rolls, or whatever else I baked. My grandsons did the same thing when they came in from school. Now they are grown men and still ask me to bake their favorites.
Loved your expression when putting in the flour. lol Looks like my expressions sometimes in the kitchen., especially working with my grandchildren. Seeing your grown children working with the younger ones is special. You and your husband have done a wonderful job as parents.
My husband wanted to do something for the older man down the road for helping him out so I said could make a batch of cinnamon rolls. We decided that would be the perfect thank you but I’ve never found a recipe that I was really excited about until I saw yours Oh My Gosh! These are so soft and delicious and a perfect way to say thank you! You’re a great teacher! I just love watching your channel so thank you!
The addition of mashed potatoes makes the cinnamon rolls way more delicious than without. We have a small business that has been a community staple for decades. Their name is the Spudnut Shop using potato flour for their variety of pastries, cinnamon rolls, doughnuts, maple bars, coconut iced along with cake pastries. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
I found your channel just this weekend, and I'm glad I did. I made your cinnamon rolls, and they are the best ever! I am enjoying your channel. I love how you are teaching your children, ALL of your children, to cook, farm, sew, and take care of the animals. You are giving them numerous life tools. In the future they will thank you for how you've raised them.
Your videos never fail to exemplify the heart of our Father. Your family and your values preach the gospel without a pulpit! Great job from the music, to content, to transparency…..everything involved is on point!
I'm so excited to try this recipe. My mom was born in Germany and love to make German food. But she absolutely made the best cinnamon rolls. Years later, in our life, we would ask her to make them, but she would tell us she forgot how. Now watching you I can understand why. I'm alone now but I will definitely reminisce with every single bite. Thank you for sharing and have a blessed day.❤
I use this same recipe. I come from Amish background. Yes, these do bring the older kids home🥰. Lol, your littles wrapped one of your aprons is the sweetest thing ever.
Dear Ruthann, , you, are such a force of nature and you do it all with a smile. If only all children had a mother like you ❤ I'm learning from you and I'm 70 years old! Thanks for your beautiful family oriented programming..
I love the part about your little boys possibly wrapping up your own apron to give you for Christmas. That reminded me of the time that our 8-year-old boy jumped up after unwrapping gifts Christmas morning and disappeared for a few minutes. We heard rustling upstairs, and then he returned with a messily-wrapped "present" and had us unwrap it. It was a partially-used box of Kleenex from his room.😂😂😂
I'm diabetic but I'm drooling so much I have to make a single batch!!! Good thing I have plenty of room in my freezer Thank you for your inspiration. You have made this Kiwi now living in Australia very happy All the best to you and your family for 2024

A mormon gal I worked with many years ago. Her mom brought us cinnamon buns to the salon I worked at they were delicious and she used potato flakes. I just thought of them a few days ago... I'll definitely have to try these out. thank you for all the time it's taken to show these videos. Really appreciate you. God bless.
I made these today. They are, bar none, the best cinnamon buns I have ever made and I have been baking since the age of nine. I am 71 now. I encourage everyone to make these, they are the best.I have tried many cinnamon roll recipes from UA-cam and NONE of them comes close to this recipe. This recipe is a heirloom keeper! Thank you for sharing. I’m a first time subscriber. I love your Bosch mixer. I’m going to purchase it so I can make the larger recipe. My Kitchen Aid can’t handle that amount. Watching a Bosch tutorial I realized how much more superior the Bosch machine performs. Correction; after much research I decided the Ankarsrum is so far above the rest. I ordered the red one from Amazon.
Thank you for sharing your review! I’ll be making these very soon! Ps-I’ve had my Bosch for years and it was a hand me down from aunt who made many loaves of bread weekly and it’s still going. But, now I’m curious about the mixer you mentioned and want to check it out. As great as my Bosch is I don’t know if it will go for about 20 or so years, gosh it has to be older than that because I got it from her in 2016 or 2017 and it was 20+ years old then. My aunt lived to 86 and went through 2 Bosch mixers - neither died but she wanted a newer model. I was thrilled to take the old one and love it to bits! I did have a kitchen aid at one time but a double batch of my bread killed it. I love that the Bosch actually prefers and works more efficiently when it is well filled. Now I’m off to check out that mixer you mentioned. I want to be prepared if I ever find myself in need of a new mixer. Happy baking ❣️💞 🍞 😊
@@weloverescuedogs2820 How cool is that?! Your Aunt is a woman after my own heart! I still have my Kitchen Aide. I bought my first one in 1973 a year after I married. I wanted a red one so I gave my old one to my daughter 5 years ago. It’s still running. The Kitchen Aide is great for regular jobs etc but for big batches and sourdough recipes I love the Ankarshrum. I decided against the Bosch because of its size only. The Ankarshrum is more compact. I watched a video on how the mixers mix and the Ankarshrum did a complete job. They used a dough and food coloring in the dough for the demonstration. I have been using the Ankarshrum for a short while enough to know I am very happy with its performance. It fits well in my kitchen. Good luck with whatever you choose but every time you use your mixer you will think on your wonderful Aunt. ❤️
Oh my goodness, I raised 5 huge sons and 4 daughters who were all athletic, and used to bake like this! What memories! These rolls look perfectly wonderful!
I've made sweet rolls for over 40 years, but your recipe takes them to a whole new level! I will definitely make these. Thank you for another wonderful visit ❤
Oh my goodness, I made these today! A single batch. I ended up delivering to my friends. They RAVED how good they were! You made a double batch kudos to you for doing a double batch! 👏 a single batch was up into my mixer lol but they are the BEST cinnamon rolls ever. Thank you for sharing. I’m an avid fan and love your wholesome channel.
I made these yesterday for my grandson... the single recipe is more than enough for my family with plenty to freeze. These turned out so good! Easy and delicious thank you so much for sharing.
I love that the boys wrap of your things around the house as gifts and i love even more your example of grace toward them in their efforts of gift giving. 🥰
To BE intentional That is what one needs. I know I gave these memories to my family. Every feast and holiday was celebrated. No matter what, they'll never be lost.
Hi, I baked your cinnamon bun recipe for christmas. We loved them. I had 63 big buns, I used cane sugar in the dough and the flavors were great. I put a cream cheese frosting on them and froze them. This will be a recipe I will use for years, thank you for sharing.
I want to thank you so much for sharing this recipe. It truly is a blessing for my home. I cant afford a mixer, so I'll have to do it the old fashioned way by hand, but I've already been planning to hit my local thrift and buy them out of bread machines with a dough cycle. I'm a home baker and while I do plan to sell baked goods at a local farmer's market, my goal with this recipe is as gifts to my family, friends, and fellow food bank recipients. May our Heavenly Father bless your family with an abundance until the end of the age. ❤️🕊🙌✝️
Our amish friends make doughnuts using mashed potatoes! They are the best! Definitely using your recipe for our Christmas morning cinnamon rolls. ❤ Thank you!
We made your cinnamon rolls . They were the best sweetest cinnamon rolls ever. We added golden raisins my wifes idea which turned out to a great idea. Never heard of putting mashed potatoes in the batter, but we followed the recipe. Wow, the dough was just fantastic, delicious and wow . Thank you so much, we just made the single recipe which next time we will cut in half. We just love your videos and watching the children. Best regards
Same at my house. Mom always made sticky buns for Christmas morning. Now she lives with me and if my brother is visiting at Christmas i make them again. I am going to try the addition of potatoes this year. I've been baking a long time and never heard that and it makes tons of sense.
There is nothing better than cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning. And you're absolutely correct, my grown children and now grandchildren ask every year if I am making cinnamon rolls. But I have always gotten up about 3.30 am to get them made by the time everyone is up. I am going to try your method. And I am excited to try your recipe.
I’ was born in Central America We make tamales and we add potato to our corn 🌽 flour and sounds so perfect Thank you so much . I will go looking for the recipe and make one set right away , just a beautiful way to life . ❤❤❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏
You need to compile all your receipts into a book and sell it. I would love to purchase a cookbook from you. I have a stack of your papers but I’ll probably loose them. It’s really a joy to watch your videos and see your adorable family. Plus with everything going on in the world I think we are going back to an earlier time and your ideas will come in handy. Thanks so much!
@Longfamily3 Same here with page protectors, I personally love coming to UA-cam for RuthAnn and the recipes and the warm family feeling cooking with her. ♥♥
My feed suddenly got hit with your videos. YT was listening bc I told my husband i wanted to get a canning recipe for baked beans. Lo behold the next day there was your baked beans video in my feed. Now it’s nonstop. But I do not mind at all bc I’m learning so many cool tips about home canning. (I’m beyond homesteading at this point…. No more kids at home and not a lot of energy for gardening at this age.) Butt I sure do enjoy my time in the kitchen cooking from scratch and canning foods for our future meals. . You are amazing. How you do all the things and have such a sweet gentle spirit to boot. The joy of the Lord is certainly your strength!
I've been making cinnamon rolls all week that I sell! These are very lovely! I usually save my potato water and add it to my bread! Our church makes cinnamon rolls to sell for missionary and that ones uses potato flakes. Thanks for sharing ruthann!
Thank you so much for a wonderful video making butter fudge. My family has been making it for four generations now. Just like your family, my family has been making it for Christmas every one of my 70 years. I know the fudge as Light Opera Fudge. There are eight children in our family, everyone needed to take a turn beating the fudge with a wooden spoon. Once it was cool, and it was cut into pieces, we all sat at the table and wrapped the fudge (like a package) with waxed paper. Then caramels were wrapped with a twist at each end, and regular caramels were cut into oblong pieces and wrapped like a package. Butter Crunch (some people call it toffee) has milk chocolate on at least one side with chopped walnuts on top of that. Mom baked 12 dozen rolled, cut out Christmas cookies that we decorated. We were very creative. This all began after Thanksgiving, and lasted until the weekend before Christmas. Other cookies and candies were also made. Everything was stored in tins and put on the attic steps because it was cold there. Those candy making days were some of the best times ever!
Cinnamon rolls has always been a Christmas morning tradition. I half the yeast and let them rise in the fridge overnight and bake fresh in the morning. Such a nice treat.
Can you explain your process ? How long was the first rise before rolling cinnamon rolls. when you took them out of the refrigerator , did you leave them out for a while before baking. i really like the idea of baking in the morning . thank you!
I made the Amish Cinnamon buns today with the mashed potato. What a wonderful difference it makes to the dough! I rolled one batch out completing it with the cream cheese frosting for me and without for my husband. He likes the cinnamon rolls plain b’cuz of his blood sugar. I did roll out the dough on floured parchment paper to make the beginning of the roll up easier. I froze the other 3 batches (by dozens). The whole process took so long (but totally worth it) that i could not do all 4 dozen. This was a rehearsal for when family are coming to visit. Thank you so much for your recipe and demonstrations! God bless🙏
We are delivering our Christmas Caramels to our Amish friends today, and now I am hoping that we happen to find some freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Your rolls look so delicious and the added bonus is the sticky buns! Thanks for sharing this recipe. The way you broke it down makes it seem easier to do. I think I will give it a try. A Merry Christmas to your family.

Hopefully, within the next year or so, I would like to buy a handmaid beautiful quilt period do you know of any contacts that you might be able to share with me question mark a shop, phone number, something period Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with this channel period😅😅
My family has been making potato bread for many many generations. The favorite of our family and many others. Have made it for many church functions. Get lots of great reviews. I do drain the water from cooking potatoes and use that for what the recipe calls for in the water measurement. I love making bread.
This warmed my heart❤ Thank you for this tutorial! I love that the little boys may have wrapped your beloved apron for a present 😆When you open it you'll be so genuinely happy to have it back. They obviously loved the after school treat! And the momories made while baking and making as a family❤
Good morning, Kate. I am so enjoying your recipes and am looking forward to making these cinnamon rolls. I am amazed at how easy you do these dishes and for myself, how much energy it all requires! I get tired at the end of pie filling making and pie making!! It certainly takes a lot of strength and I am not normally adverse to a work out!! But this job is something else. Plus you have gardening, milking cows, meal preps and other makings you do!! Amazing. My husband reminds me that you have been doing this routine all.of your life, whereas I'm just getting into this at the age of 70!! 😂 But I love it!! I want to perfect my Grandmother's German cinnamon roll recipe, too. Happy cooking.
These are amazing! Yesterday my daughter and I spent the day baking a double batch. We delivered them last night and they were well received. Our crew loved the ones we tried. We’ve kept 2 pans for Christmas. Thank you for sharing such a simple but wonderful recipe!
I made these a few days ago and they are the best I ever tasted. I shared them with neighbors too and they agreed they were fabulous. I froze some too, had them this morning, heated a few seconds in the microwave, and wow!!! They are so good I'm going to make them to give to the neighbors for Christmas instead of my usual choc.chip cookies. My husband wants me to add raisins next time. My only difficulity was using the string to cut them apart. My dough was kind of sticky...maybe I needed a bit more flour? I weighed my flour in grams so this may have been the cause for a sticky dough. Anyway, thank you for sharing your Amish recipe! The mashed potatoes make these special!
My grandmother's yeast rolls had potatoes in it,and they were divine. The entire family has continued to make them, to pass this on as well. I cannot wait to try a cinnamon roll version 😋.
YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!! Who would have ever thought of putting potatoes in the dough! It works so beautifully to make them soft & delicious! I have been searching for THE elusive cinnamon roll recipe over the past 24 yrs, and FINALLY found it, right here! Thank you!!!
I made these for my farmers market yesterday and got compliments from customers. I used cream cheese frosting on most of them. The dough was nice to work with.
Ruthanne you are not allowed to be a snoop sister, no peeking at presents under the Christmas tree!! How cute are the little boys wrapping you a 🎁 ❤Those buns and pies looks delicious!! The kids looked like they were enjoying their after school treat!! ❤🙏🇮🇪
I just love watching you and your family… I envy you all for not only the knowledge and skills that you seem to learn through osmosis, but also for the camaraderie and sense of family that comes as easily to you all as breathing. Living, working, playing together and helping each other without a thought, because that’s just the way that things are done..
I loved watching you and your family doing your Christmas traditions. Tears of joy for me; my mom and I did a lot together and memories came rushing back. Mother died 5 years ago but the love and joy of what she taught me will stay forever. You are loved. God bless you
I love that you make a double recipe! That’s what I always do, too. So many others make tiny recipes of cookies that make about 12-18 cookies and I so dislike seeing this knowing I need to triple a recipe like this. So thank you for baking and cooking like many of us like to do! We so appreciate you! Merry Christmas!
I just discovered your channel a couple of days ago. What I love about what you do, is your understanding of the whole science of what you do. It’s not just because of how you learned to do something. You understand the basic concepts of, in this case, why the potatoes help the rolls. Plus you are so intentional in your explanations. And I’ve heard you say several time over the videos I’ve watched that you only have an 8th grade education, but you are so intelligent and wise. Also Jesus shines in everything you do.
Just baking 3 pecan pies for gifting while watching you bake today. I feel my blood sugar rising through the screen. Yummy! You had me at cream cheese icing.
Ruth Ann, I want to thank you for sharing your life and family recipes with the world. I too have Mennonite heritage and lots of our family recipes have been lost through the generations. I was surprised to see your recipe contained potatoes. Our donut recipe, we call spudnuts, contains potatoes too. Thank you for sharing! God bless you and your family.
I went to bed last night, thinking of making cinnamon rolls today and then here you are with that wonderful recipe! I better get busy! Thank you, Ruth Ann!
I’m done and they are delicious, but next time I will make only half a batch. 46 cinnamon rolls is way too much for two people! I will freeze and gift some. Thanks again Ruth Ann!
You're such an inspiration Ruth Ann! I hope we see a picture of Stacey and Johnny at their bridle shower. Love your videos and your cheerfulness. Enjoy the season! ❤Patsy
Our family also has cookie decorating parties at Christmas (health permitting 🙄). Teaching the littles about “less is more” is always a fun challenge. Thanks once again for the great recipes.
Such fun, watching you bake-but knowing I won’t be tempted to eat the delicious looking buns! It was also fun to see the Bosch mixer; I had one years ago, but foolishly gave it to a friend when we moved across the continent. Bosch mixers are total workhorses!!

Sputnut in richland?
Pekin Illinois? Love them.
Yummy 😋
Your videos never fail to exemplify the heart of our Father. Your family and your values preach the gospel without a pulpit!
Great job from the music, to content, to transparency…..everything involved is on point!
Could not have said it better.
Great to see when a young one catches on to what we're trying to teach.
He's a genius! Cute
You're awesome! Just ignore the mean people. I think you are very smart and educated!
I grew up in the Moravian church and we make our sweet cinnamon Moravian cake with mashed potatoes so this makes perfect sense to me
I'm diabetic but I'm drooling so much I have to make a single batch!!! Good thing I have plenty of room in my freezer
Thank you for your inspiration. You have made this Kiwi now living in Australia very happy
All the best to you and your family for 2024
I love the pan of “misfits”, what a fun idea for sampling! Can’t wait to try this recipe for Christmas morning. ❤
In the donut 🍩 biz they're called 'irregulars'... The One's that aren't uniform.... But just as yummy the baker's sampled to Check consistently and enjoy the efforts with Coffee ☕ right Before they Opened to the hungry throng line'n up outside! 😋🫶 Ahhh nothing like it! 🍩
I love watching your sweet family eating the cinnamon buns! So cute and so many memories!
God bless.
Do you just add the flakes or mix it first
The recipe calls for "prepared" instant potatoes.
You are a lovely breath of fresh air! Especially needed now with all the uglies that is going on in our world. Thank you & bless you! ❤🙏🕊❤️
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you sharing your recipes and farm life with us.
just found you. You are a credit to mankind. I love your family life
I made these today.
Making these soon!!
Love the apron story and watching them tear into the rolls!! You are an awesome awesome mom!!! God's blessings to you all.....🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love that you are passing on the skills you learned to your children.
I've made sweet rolls for over 40 years, but your recipe takes them to a whole new level! I will definitely make these. Thank you for another wonderful visit ❤
God IS good!!!! What a bounty of blessings! You seem like a true Proverbs 31 woman!!!
I concur
This is something we did in food prep in institutional foods class about 45 years ago. It was the best ever
Lady, you are GOOD. I am 80 years old and known for my rolls so I know what good is.
Awwww, my dad used to make us cinnamon buns Christmas mornings every year! He wasn't normally a baker, but somehow they always came out amazing 😂
I have been looking for this recipe for 20+ years! Thank you!
It's the secret in Crispy cremes!
What a wonderful tradition for the holiday. Everyone seems to help and that makes all feel they are helping. Hoorah for Mom. Love to all of you. ❤❤❤❤
I’ was born in Central America
We make tamales and we add potato to our corn 🌽 flour and sounds so perfect
Thank you so much .
I found that putting the printed recipes in page protectors and into a binder has kept them together and clean. I'm loving my RuthAnn Binder!!
@Longfamily3 Same here with page protectors, I personally love coming to UA-cam for RuthAnn and the recipes and the warm family feeling cooking with her. ♥♥
I do the same thing.
I agree
❤ Ruth Ann you are a blessing! And a rock star! Your family recipes are as treasure that we are blessed to partake of from you. Thank you so much!
Cinnamon rolls has always been a Christmas morning tradition. I half the yeast and let them rise in the fridge overnight and bake fresh in the morning. Such a nice treat.
Can you explain your process ? How long was the first rise before rolling cinnamon rolls. when you took them out of the refrigerator , did you leave them out for a while before baking. i really like the idea of baking in the morning . thank you!
I'm glad you're passing the traditions on to your children.
I remember my mom and grandma making cinnamon rolls and how good they tasted. Nothing like homemade! Thank you
I made the Amish Cinnamon buns today with the mashed potato.
Thank you!!!!
Hello, my name is Lorraine and I live in Reno Nevada period I have absolutely no contacts with the Amish community period and at some point.
We used your sugar cookie recipe for our co-op Christmas party. The dough is incredible, and they got rave reviews. The best!
That is awesome!
This is absolutely amazing. I'm so glad that more cultures are using the internet to get things like this to the rest of us. Cant wait to try these
I made these for my farmers market yesterday and got compliments from customers. I used cream cheese frosting on most of them. The dough was nice to work with.
That’s wonderful
I agree God Is Good, All the time! What beautiful cinnamon rolls! Thank you
Ruthanne you are not allowed to be a snoop sister, no peeking at presents under the Christmas tree!! How cute are the little boys wrapping you a 🎁 ❤Those buns and pies looks delicious!! The kids looked like they were enjoying their after school treat!! ❤🙏🇮🇪
Thank you!!!! It was a desperate search for my missing apron!!!
@@Ruthannzimm😮😂
I love the freedom to be boys that you give these children. You have much patience and generosity in your heart! Merry Christmas!!
Your channel is sooooo refreshing in this time of negatively and polarization. God bless you❤.
I just love watching you and your family… I envy you all for not only the knowledge and skills that you seem to learn through osmosis, but also for the camaraderie and sense of family that comes as easily to you all as breathing. Living, working, playing together and helping each other without a thought, because that’s just the way that things are done..
Thanks so much
I loved watching you and your family doing your Christmas traditions.
Welcome!!!
I love potato rolls. They have a richer taste than plain yeast rolls.
I learned so much, just watching you and I'm 73. Hope to make these soon
Just baking 3 pecan pies for gifting while watching you bake today. I feel my blood sugar rising through the screen. Yummy! You had me at cream cheese icing.
You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers (have not seen you online for a bit, and not sure where you live. God) bless you🙌
Ruth Ann, I want to thank you for sharing your life and family recipes with the world. I too have Mennonite heritage and lots of our family recipes have been lost through the generations. I was surprised to see your recipe contained potatoes. Our donut recipe, we call spudnuts, contains potatoes too. Thank you for sharing! God bless you and your family.
Beautiful work!😊
I went to bed last night, thinking of making cinnamon rolls today and then here you are with that wonderful recipe! I better get busy! Thank you, Ruth Ann!
We are the same!!!
I’m done and they are delicious, but next time I will make only half a batch. 46 cinnamon rolls is way too much for two people! I will freeze and gift some. Thanks again Ruth Ann!
What a great recipe for cinnamon rolls, and what a stellar recipe for a good and godly life! I’m so glad I found this!
You're such an inspiration Ruth Ann! I hope we see a picture of Stacey and Johnny at their bridle shower. Love your videos and your cheerfulness. Enjoy the season! ❤Patsy
God is good indeed!!❤
Our family also has cookie decorating parties at Christmas (health permitting 🙄). Teaching the littles about “less is more” is always a fun challenge. Thanks once again for the great recipes.
YES, God is good ! 💜
(Blessed family)
Such fun, watching you bake-but knowing I won’t be tempted to eat the delicious looking buns! It was also fun to see the Bosch mixer; I had one years ago, but foolishly gave it to a friend when we moved across the continent. Bosch mixers are total workhorses!!
