turning point was when Daynami came on, Stormers suddenly looked a lot more threatening, even more so when Jaintjies went off, great to see Manie kicking everything over, Dragons can hold their heads up, score line is definitely deceiving
The 76min try by Mngomezulu (spelling?) was next level. The Stormers do some special stuff

As a Stormers fan, I'll take the win, but it's extremely frustrating to see them blow so hot and cold. They have BAGS of talent...if they could just be bit more consistent, they'd be much higher up the log.

Very poor first half for the Stormers, trying to throw the ball around (read: away) with gay abandon. I thought Manie and Evan Roos for the Stormers and Wainwright for the Dragons were excellent. Salmaan Moerat is also getting back to his best after his year-long injury lay-off (and I still back him to become the next Bok captain for the next two RWC cycles). In the end not a surprising result for me as the Capetonians were always expected to win this one rather comfortably. Cheers from Safferland chaps! 🇿🇦
Yeah man they'll not be happy with that first half at all. Good thing about the Stormers though, you never know when they're gonna just flick the switch and cut teams up

one of a couple of bad calls I thought, the knock-on that led to the yellow seemed to be either backwards or a Stormers knock-on

@@rugbywindow i missed that one tbh, definitely wasn't one way traffic from the ref, just a case of a lot being missed.
The Stormers were pretty unimpressive during most of this game. If the had been playing like this against any of the top URC teams, the result would have been the opposite to this. If it hadn't been for the Dragons yellow card, Stormers could have lost to the almost bottom of the table. Connacht will beat them, particularly if it's a typical wet and windy Galway day. Excellent review Mark.
I've found out that Dragons are my ancestral team lol. They are from Gwent but man its hard to get in it when the welsh teams are struggling.
