Poor old Waratahs. On paper they’re a better team than last but like the Crusader they just haven’t been able to fire this year. My Canes at fourth still feels a bit weird. They didn’t have their A team on against Moana. In any case I’d still be happy with a home semi. Blue looking more and more like favourites.
The Tahs are like the English cricket team. So many backslaps just making the team they forget winning is the foundation of pride. The saddest turnouts in Aussie rugby.

Feels like the top 4 are ahead of the pack by a long way this year.
Next year.... I promise I will follow Super Rugby next year. I tried but when you have no skin in the game its not that easy. I love Rugby and crikey I've even found myself watching sevens recently but...I found it hard to get into Super Rugby. Mostly, because I don't know the teams, their history, their heritage, their pedigree. I'm beginning to get to know more about the ZA teams as they are in the URC and learning to favour some of them over others.
It makes me even more impressed at how TC manages to not only watch and follow the EPRC, URC, Premiership tournies but to get so involved and know/understand the rivalries. Its me, not you....I need to do better. From what I've seen the Rugby is very exciting and probably more free flowing than European Club Rugby.
Top video as always TC. I know, its off topic but who are you backing for the Champions Cup next Sat ? I've just realised that I'll be in Croke Park next Sat at 5pm watching GAA. The Leinster v. Toulouse game kicks off at 14:45. Methinks that the pubs around Croker will be packed with Leinster/Dublin fans before they head to the football in Croke Park. I nearly feel sorry for them, imagine the highs and lows that they will experience. Winning the Champions Cup and then losing to the Rossies in the Football. Hey, such is life guys......

Rebels only win with the Australian officials . U were spot on with this power rankings. The Drua needs to be mentally fit because away games they think is a holiday trip.

The fact 8 out of 12 teams go through to the playoffs is a joke.

I could even handle top four..
I like the top 8. Top 6 gives top 2 teams a rest heading into finals which is boring and potentially disrupts their momentum. Top 8 exposes more teams to high pressure knock out rugby, gives under performing teams a 2nd chance if they scrape in and keeps the competition interesting for the supporters of those 8 teams for longer. The comp would’ve been basically over weeks ago for some teams if it was top 4.
@@BraziwiSteve Top 6 with a double elimination would go hard.
But most of the time the extra week off allows players to properly recover and get over small niggling injuries so I think it negates a loss of momentum.
I used to think losing momentum was the case too but it doesn't seem to be much of a factor in other tournaments with such a set up, as far as I know.
top 8 is just too many going through, defeats the purpose of even having a regular season.
another good power rankings video mark,fair enough about my canes team lost a lot of form in the last four games.the blues deserve top spot and who knows if they have peaked or we haven't seen the best of them yet.the chiefs potentially could really come into some serious form at the right time
Canes falling away, haven’t been the same since Cam Roigard got injured. Can they get that form back for the finals? Cross my fingers, but blues got the forwards to take a W this year.

So three close losses puts us in 9th yet all those teams we have closely lost to have been above us I disagree
chiefs should be above the brumbies cause the brumbies only won cause strange hit the ball out if he didn`t then it would have been a different score so chiefs won without any rebels conferversy
Would have been a penalty even if it wasn’t a penalty try either way so the Brumbies would have still won
And highlanders would have won if the Blues didnt score so many tries in the second half
