1974 VW Beetle | I Finally Found One | The Story

I have been searching for a late 60's early 70's Vw beetle for a while. One in decent condition to just get in and drive. As we all know that's very difficult to find for a decent price. I currently own a 1969 Vw beetle that im completely redoing from the ground up. While I restore the 1969, I wanted to have a car to enjoy. It took a while to find the right car for the right price but finally it came along. I ended up deciding to purchase a 1974 Vw beetle in cobalt Ontario. Which is 14 hours Round trip from my office/house/shop. This trip came with a few hurdles but im very lucky my uncle lived in the area and handled most of the purchase and first looks at the car.
This is the story of the trip/ and the story behind the car.
I have started this channel to follow all the VW beetle projects I go through. From working on 1969 and all the things I go through on it to fixing this 1974 vw beetle up to drive daily.

They are never close by, its a headache lol But I mean As im learning, it wasn't really that good lol. The Body is a messssss lol but just getting it done piece by piece lol Bondo and sound deadner can cover a lot :( lol

AWESOME! Im still learning a lot about the 74's , im more used to the older style. So getting this car was a big change for me, ive been learning a lot lol

15 minutes away from cobalt is tim Hortons and multiple restaurants just saying lol
