    I have a different question here. I am 31. Have normal combination skin. I don't have any skin issues till now by God grace. Little fine line under my eyes for which I am using L'oreal revitalift under eye cream. I thought now it's my time to start some serious skincare but my fear is that if start any chemical products like retinols or any other acid based. My skin which is very good right now will get bad. Is it true or is it just my fear. Should I start using beginner retinol at this age. Because I also have fear that if I don't I may age faster suddenly but currently my skin look 3-4 years younger than my age. I too scared using chemicals like retinols, niacinamide, hylaronic or any other. Please answer this question. I want to prevent aging but scared too.

I mean some say tretinoin is also a mild exfoliator. so it works on deeper layer?? nd if i need to choose any chemical exfoliator which one to choose i've very small pores so need to bha?? tretinoin works on all the prblms nd a good exfoliator too.

    This is like a thorough revision on topic retinol before board exam. Wouldnt forget a point. 😀 Some more questions i have for you. Age 39, F, oily skin. Q1. How effective are the star ingredients in korean skin care really help, like bamboo line, centella asciatica, ginseng, mugwort etc. Because the main ingredient is of higher percentage in the product lines. Q2. How much nourishing does a face need. For example if u see samapti banarjee's routine, she layers multiple products but mostly they are hydrating products. This is the doubt of a lady nearing 40, fighting acne and imperfect skin. She has almost perfect skin, but keeping that nourished is essential? Should the face need to have that much sheen because of products, to be hydrated. As i massage the serums, my face just absorbs them and there is visibly nothing on the skin. Or is it just like tv ads for representation purpose only. I am not bashing anybody, it is just to understand. Q3. I dont use make up. Should i use cleanaing balm or micellar water or just cleanser(2times) to double cleanse and remove sunscreen.

    • @RubinaSkincare
      @RubinaSkincare  3 роки тому +1

      :)
      - skin hydration is 90% body hydration NOT hydration coming from PRODUCTS.
      - the skin does not drink products so using 10 products for hydration does not mean your skin will be exponentially MORE hydrated when all the hydration could have come from one good moisturiser.
      the test of hydration is whether your skin feels stretchy dry after about an hour or so of using the product. if you want to follow simple skincare routines your hydration should come from moisturiser and yoru cleanser should not make your skin strechy. BUS thats all. you need.
      for cleanser I recommend double cleanser since there is spf to be removed. cleansing balms are great, micellars are good too but do wash them off the wash .
      hope this helps.

    Hey Rubina, please answer this. I have a mole on my face, whi h has a tendency of growing in size. It's non malignant. I have consulted a dermat who has made a long term plan for me to use salicylic acid based products just there and it stops the growth. But if I stop it, then it again starts growing.
    Now, the question! Do I need to stay away from EGF?! If yes does it come with other names too in ingi lists?

    • @RubinaSkincare
      @RubinaSkincare  3 роки тому

      hmm. you should consult. your dermatologist Jayati. Moles especially if its growing need different care.

    Hi! I too wanted to start with some anti ageing stuffs so I started with Retin A 0.025% routine. I have oily, combination acne prone skin. I followed your instructions and used a moisturizer as buffer before applying retin a and applied it only once a week. However I have noticed some skin darkening after my second application. I am not sure what to do next!
