@@RTCMAHL These things happen more often than you think. Captain reacted correctly as it is a critical phase of flight.
@@RTCMAHLIt's not common....I've never seen that happen in all my years of flying... but its something you would deal with when the aircraft has stopped
Admiring my city view through the windows. I love landing into Sea-Tac from the north. Seeing Lake Washington on the left and the city and peninsula on the right.
What a beautiful, graceful touchdown. Like a feather floating to Earth. Kudos.
This was fun to watch. SeaTac is my home airport so I've flown this many times in the past. Lived in Seattle near Boeing field for 19 years. It was fun to see this view from the cockpit. Thanks for the great video!

Great view, great pilots, and an awesome landing. Love the 757's; they're amazing and beautiful inside and out. I did see something fall off around 5:24 thought. Anyways, awesome video, I love it.
Good catch, I missed that. Looks like some kind of make shift cover or a piece of tape? Not an original piece that broke but hard to tell
Wiper knob.
It's cool seeing them land at your own local Airport. This one is coming in from the North over Boeing field. I drive the perimeter road next the the end of the runway to and from work and love to see them fly over before touchdown. Now I can imagine all the work going on in cockpit as well now. Love this series. Wish we have some US companies represented here, must have policies in place that prevent filming in the cockpit? I worked for Western/Delta in this airport for almost 15 years before I went to another career in 93. I held a multitude of positions during those years, including ramp. (2 of us ladies became the 1st female ramp agents with Western) I loved sitting on the tarmac in the belt loaders waiting for an aircraft to taxi into the gate. Early morning after dawn was the best. Those flights incoming from Alaska were brutal though, usually included boxes of fish to unload..ugh!

Great video. Needs to be more videos with this view so we can see what's happening on the flight deck with the controls. None of this 10 different angles from over the pilots shoulder etc.

I've only watched like 3 of these videos and I agree... this is my favorite angle...I only wish it was a little lower so we can see out the window a little more

Pilot on the left (not on controls) is doing the landing by muscle memory with their right hand

Cockpit View, A320 Go Around and Landing at Amsterdam
At the beginning I noticed the throttle handles moving on their own. My guess is the auto pilot and auto throttle was still engaged. So why did the FO push the throttles back as they crept forward ? I could see she was monitoring air speed. Just curious. She performed an excellent landing.
The panorama out of the Glasses cannot be seen although meticulous piloting going on. This video actually was captured a bit up of the pilot-seats from behind.

Great video but I saw 3 cameras recording but yet we only see 1 view throughout the whole thing. Would’ve been nice to see the pilots view a couple times. Also that windshield wiper knob 😂.

How come in all these videos I watch knobs fall off from the ceiling during landing
These ceiling shots are useless unless a close up of the controls. Afraid you can't have your cake and eat it! Need to split screen and overlay moving panorama of the ground.
We have 6-8 cameras in the cockpit to capture every angle... this is just 1 of them but our full films feature all of them....
Who was controller the tiller when steering onto the high speed taxi?
How did the designers & engineers decide the locations of where the knobs, buttons, & toggles world be placed.?
Well in the 737 the loaded the switches and buttons into a shotgun and then fired it at the overhead panel

So why is the FO doing all the work? The captain is sitting there with her hands on her legs while the FO has one on the yoke and another on the engines. The captain didn't do anything except put the gear down.
I still wonder why Boeing decided to make a 737 Max, instead of a 757 Max
