First I want to give a BIG THANK YOU to KASTKING for giving me the opportunity to try out this reel!!!!
Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video!!! In this video we will be using and talking some about the KastKing Royale Legend 2......I didn't go deep into depth on every little detail on this reel, I mainly just wanted to show you all how this reel performs, i've been using it for around 2 weeks or so now and i'm highly impressed with the casting distance, smoothness of the retrieve etc. and with a $40.00 price point not sure you can find another Reel that performs like this!!!! If your knew to a Baitcaster I highly reccomend this one, even if your a seasoned pro give it a try!!!!!

*Smooth operation and love the over sized handle! **enjoyable.fishing** recommend Casts nicely. Fished a recent tournament and used it... had no trouble landing a 6 lb Bass.*

Awesome man, for the price you cant beat them, I still use mine daily even the old one I bought 2 years ago!!! If you order a couple use my link to it, helps me out just a wee bit and doesnt effect your purchase at all brotha 🤙

Loving the RL2 so far, my RL1 has been a champ as well, I've put that reel through it lol I'm currently waiting on a Crixus to arrive

i own three original Royal Legend Ones and Three Royal Legend Twos and a Zephyr BFS reel. If I had to base my opinion on just the Royal Legend Ones, I'd have to say I would be disappointed in Kasking products. However the improvments in the Royal Legend Two have changed my opinion and the Zephyr really turned my opinion around more. I got started with Kasking by purchasing two Triton Spinning reels a 2500 and 3000 size. (no longer offered). That was probably 6 years ago and even with heavy saltwater use, these reels still look and operate like new. Nice and smooth.
My buddy loves his OG Royale legend I like the II and still use it some!!
@@BASSnBEER I repaired two of my originals. I found a youtuber who diagnosed the problem with the originals. There is a pin on the spool that slides off center and drags on the inside of the reel. I superglued that pin and use those reels for my flipping and pitching. Unfortunatly on the third reel I dropped a tiny spring and never found it when I was doing the repair. So I kept that reel for parts. Opppps, gotta go, time to go fishing. 🐟😎

I’m just getting into fishing so sorry if this question might not make sense. I will be trout fishing. Should I use the 5:4:1 or the 7:2:1
I personally would use a 7:2:1 since your usually in the river when trout fishing, just a little faster retrieve in that current!!

For baitcasting on the reel, is it better to use fluorocarbon or multifilament line?
Id say it just depends on what your throwing....I typically throw Fluro or Braid!!
What has been your favorite Kastking reel you’ve used out of the ones that you own? I own several and they have some solid offerings
So far the Royale legends, I'm looking to get one or two of there higher end models, I've got the Spartacus and the Brutus as well

If your gna do braid to leader on this I would go with a 12lb leader atleast...guess it depends on what your throwing also...

i have the same reel still in the box i pulled it out and put it on one of my rods , i get so frustrated with backlash i have some old diawa baitcasters and just when i would thick i got the casting down to a science a backlash happens . i very impatient when it comes to tangles i could hand it to my wife and she loves a challenge to untangle but she not always along . been watching a bunch of youtube and baitcasters so i up for the challenge
Stick with it man, I wouldn't use them at first but now 2 or 3 years in I gotta have a variety of reels!
I need a new spool for this reel I'm looking on the internet now for a new one. I may buy another one instead of a new spool. I use in in salt and clean it thoroughly every time I get home.
Yeah for the price of these wouldn't hurt just to buy a new reel and use the old one for spare parts

Honestly all of my reels are adjusted differently!! Each reel is different as well!! Some have to be adjusted a little tighter some looser etc...it a great little reel for the $$ I still have mine

It was just an extra rod I had laying here at the house, it's just a 6' quantum I had got last year from Bass Pro, ol girl has been put through the ringer to, actually just broke it a couple days ago on a 20 mile camping trip

I've used this for everything, but right now its on a 7'6 Heavy with 20lb mono for throwing my bigger swimbaits

@@eastondart1739 ive still got my Royale legend I from around 2 years ago and i've had zero issues with it....my cousin ordered 4 of them after using mine....and that was right after he had just bought 2 new Curado DCs as well....for the $$$ you can't beat them...there like $31.99 right now too...

@@gianlucabaruffaldi575 they sent me both and ive used them both for close to a year now i'd say! But to be honest man you can't go wrong with either of them!! I literally use both of them about the same! For the $$ I don't you can go wrong with either one of them
