I have 2 of these . they work good . I bought 1 for $35 and 1 for )30 . I didnt need anymore , but wallmart had them on clearance for $20 . I bought 2 more .
I get some funny looks having this budget reel on new g loomis rods that run $650 . But , they work and no reason to buy a more expensive reel .
I have 3 royale legends 2 and 4 of the royale legend gt baitcasters . I have upgraded bearings and more on 2 of them .
I have looked at a shimano dc reel , but decided no reason to . I am happy with the kastkings.

How'd you get the brake panel open, even with the switch opened it doesn't seem to budge

I can't really remember lol. When I'm home I'll look and try to get back to you. I think I just twisted and tweaked it hard. I remember it hurt my hand when it broke free lol
