@@bestsplitscreengames I'm not interested in installing software for local play. It would have been very nice to have tagged what is not officially a local co-op game. I feel I wasted most of that hour checking to see what ACTUALLY was shared/splitscreen multiplayer.

As I'm not interested in installing software for local play, I feel this is a very misleading list. I hope this comment properly alerts others like me that they'll need to actually check themselves, or find a more accurate video. It would have been very nice to have tagged what is not officially a local co-op game. I feel I wasted most of that hour checking to see what ACTUALLY was shared/splitscreen multiplayer. I was going to subscribe before learning I'd still have to do the bulk of the research myself.
Stop complaining, nucleus coop is easy to use and only requires for the most part that you have the official steam copy of the game, cracked games will not work with the app

It wasn't my goal to detract from a list of great games, because I did go through EVERY single one and check it against Google and the website Cooptimus to help me determine which had official local co-op play and for how many local players. Without the list I would have missed a few great games. But yes, I think tagging them some way would help a lot of people and net JUST the praise I feel your work deserves, without any frustration. Surely you chose a strange way to showcase the gameplay of some of these games. For example, if I didn't know what L4D2 was, I would 100% not be interested in playing that game after watching this video, though the game is actually one of the best in it's field. You used a L4D2 video with the weirdest mod possible that does not at all represent the actual aesthetics of the game.
On a side note, a lot of the games in this video are either not splitscreen at all or require 3rd party software to be played splitscreen. So, basically any side scroller with a multiplayer or a game played on an emulator should also qualify for that list. I've had a lot of fun playing ATV Offroad Fury 4 splitscreen on PCSX2 and various OpenBoR games on one PC with my friend.
True, you are right, i learned that is better creating top for native splitscreen games, and other tops for 3 party software called nucleus coop. i dont want to delete this top because took me alot time to finish, but if you check our last top list games, are already created top theme are splitted.

I've tried to play a few games using Nucleus Coop (none of which are present in this video btw - LOTR: War in the North, Dead Island, The Forest), but I couldn't make it work after hours of trying, so I just gave up on it. You might also want to include TES V: Skyrim in your videos - there's a way to play it splitscreen on PC.
Thanks i will try that games, i have on list to do. Can you share why is not working that games on your nucleus coop? Sometimes i need to disable my antivirus to make the program work, because nucleus coop use actions on windows to start some tools and make the windows resizing, maybe the problem is simple to fix.
