One serious and maybe stupid question but can you learn this foot-technique on any pedal? I got the DW 9000 and I know I suck but is this even possible on those pedals??

yeah man, for speed direct drives are awesome because there is no slack in a chain. you might not even realize it but when your playing fast there most likey is some slack in your chains. I have axis, i recently have been playing progressive power metal with a band (usualy i play death metal or BM) and i do find that for slower and triplet timing kick I struggle to control with my axis and i have to use chain drive lol very wierd though, just not use to slow tempos i geuss. direct drive 4 speed
