  • For some, success can be a long road, and for others, it can happen overnight. The quality that both these people have in common is staying true to who they are, no matter how long it takes.
Jefferson Fisher ‪@jeffersonfisher‬ is a board-certified Texas trial lawyer and founder of Fisher Firm, which has over 6 million followers on social media. He enjoys teaching people to persuade and communicate effectively in high-conflict situations. “I help people argue less so they can talk more.”
On this week's episode, Maria sits down with Jefferson to discuss gaining millions of followers overnight, tips on genuine communication, his upcoming book, running his law firm, and his love of peanut M&Ms.
    Key Takeaways
Take a step back. Take a pause before responding to someone else’s aggression. Maybe they’re having a bad day and it’s not about you.
Don’t overthink it. Sometimes it’s better to get things done than to be a perfectionist. Don’t let it keep you from moving forward.
Share your passion. Chances are someone else is passionate about the same thing you are. Put yourself out there, and you’ll probably be rewarded.

I love how Jefferson thinks and teaches us how to be better communicators and have better relationships with how we speak to people. I am very impressed by him and I believe he must have great parents! Jefferson makes things better and can really make my day by his advice. So refreshing. Jefferson Fisher seems like a real gentleman.❤

I love it when I see a new post from Jefferson! I agree that using profanity is not necessary. It seems like the f**k word is very overly used in many people’s vocabulary but not mine!

I was looking forward to this interview until the first F* bomb within the first 2 minutes. We can communicate without that kind of language.

I love this guy and thrive on his logical compassionate approach to communicating. For me though….she loses a lot of credibility when she uses the f bomb in this conversation. He’s the absolute polar opposite of using profanity to make a point.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 'we live as their memory'-pretty cool . I do not 'follow' anyone but Messiah Jesus, but there a few people today are humble and can actually benefit us. To me how many followers Jefferson has is not important; it is one to one. Thank you Jefferson . Many have panic attacks, and who isn't alittle ADD in the world today. Truly, he is the 'genuine article' ........briliiant interview.

This woman is clueless! I feel like I need to cover Jefferson’s ear and cover her mouth with Masking tape! How rude!
