  • Epiode 20 of the Raffo Belva kitcar restoration and modification project. Using a vinyl leather and a hotmelt gluegun onto MDf sheet to form the cutaway shape.

    I think you might find that the grey vyil will reflect on the inside of the windscreen and interfere with your daytime forward vision. I had this problem many years ago with a mini marcos when I covered the dash with beige vynil. I put up with it for a year or so but eventually painted it black witth upholdtery paint.

      It didnt enter my head this would be a problem and it isnt! Maybe because I am colour blind

      What do you mean? The car is very lightweight and will need weighting down at the froint when I fit the heavy bumper.
