Hello! I have 3 of these beauties here in Southern California. They've been overwintering on a little tangerine tree outside, but I recently brought them in, thinking they were likely dead. I am wondering if it is best to hang them head up as they were that way on the tree. I see you have some head up and some abdomen up. Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
I wish you showed close up how you hung the ones without the silk, my caterpillar fell during the process of making a silk, and still has some of his “frass” or black dried leg stuck to bottom, you had those several without silk but didn’t show where you glued them, I love my caterpillars and released 5 without issues #6 is the one that fell and now looking for help how to hang him properly to help him become a butterfly.
This is just the video I needed! Thank you!!
