9 years old in 2013?? Haha wow haha damn u makin me feel old i was 32 in 2013 when i was 9 supernintendo and original doom was the thing at that time 😂😂😂
Holy shit! Hellfire, I actually know who Baby Boo is. I don't want to blame you for what happened, but his life went to a dark place that he joyfully embraced and never came back from. Baby boo grew up to become BL3 Brian!
So this was your first ninja loot experience? I remember my own baby boo experience in the original destiny, this kid kept harassing us in our public chat to power level him and when we said no you wouldn't believe the high pitched vitriol kid could belt out!
What amazes me is how parents allow their kids to play these games at such a young age. I was 14 when OG DOOM came out, and played Wolfenstein 3D before that. But my parents did not really know what I did back then, for my children I always tried to know what media they consumed
I remember back then, I met my first online friend group through BL1, we all had BL2, but at the time we enjoyed doing BL1 arena PvP shenanigans. One day one of our friends came in with a modded shield, me being the only Mordecai player in the group made fun of him for being bad despite having a modded shield, not explaining to the group that I could piece shields. It was the funniest time. He later came in with a modded shotgun, one of those invisible insta kill guns, and started using it in PvP to kill the other players with it since shooting people that can't take damage isn't fun. I still made fun of him, he was the oldest in the group and I think I was the youngest and I'd school him in a 1v1 despite the one shot weapons and modded shields.
My first years of borderlands (1&2) were done on co-op LAN. We had no exposure to the online for a long time. When we finally went online and saw pyro Pete killed in 5 seconds... Mind blown
The good old days, growing & adapting from errors & developing mad sleight of hand skills & stealth. We all swore if we ever got rich we would pay the mini-mart back, that took me back to my high school times working in the neighborhood mini 7--11, ripping off my own store & giving my friends bags to fill when they dropped in, & nights with cold beer in the milk cooler & our paper cups. Don't feel bad for the owner, he got a ton of free labor out of us for all the off the clock hours we pulled after locking up to clean & close. Thanks for the memories & stories & some really good laughs! 🤣
I also remember those good old days of Xbox Live. All of us born in the 2000's were a bunch of rude and toxic assholes on the internet 😂 hahaha. I have to mention that baby boo was too young to be exposed to the internet tho', even if Hellfire wouldn't have trolled him, someone else would have.😂 I don't see anything wrong in this video, just a guy who learned to be a better person over time through trial and error...that's just life. No one is perfect and we all grow and mature🗿
I remember back then me and my friend would try to invent games within borderlands to play one of our personal favorites was the ramp in the dust you use to get into the bandit camp, someone would stand at the very bottom while the other one be on the very top of the ramp and have to knock their car off and hit the other player with it. Truly was a much more simple and fun time
Growing up on Xbox Live was crazy. I wasn't into Borderlands back then, but I remember playing so much Call of Duty Zombies and trolling people and thinking it was the funniest shit ever. I think we've all had our fair share of asshole moments on Xbox Live, let's just hope most of us have grown out of it
I can watch this after work but if you're not running around pandora w an evil smasher glitch and fabled tortoise speed hack you CANT be as big of an Ahole than me 😂 love from Kentucky brother
It's funny, when i play with people nowadays in Borderlands, i actually go out of my way to farm things offline to give to my co-op partner, i pretty much reverse steal from people.
whatever this genre of borderlands content is, i love it! i dont think i have a story as fun, as this, but i had my share of laughing at bugs with my cousin, and now (which is why this video showed up on my feed), i am in my 40s and playing BL3 with my 6 year old. He has had speech delays and such, so imagine the joy i felt inside when he said, "dad, I want a Hellwalker! Can we go to road dogg and get it from him?" ... i was so happy that he paid enough attention to remember the names of the guns along with the farming spot! and to top it off, he got a world drop hellwalker when we did the slaughter shaft! It's such a dad thing but I was jumping up and down with him and shouting, "we got a hellwalker!" and again (sorry, but I feel that this is only where I could share it), he found a complex root and a light show ... and he told me, "i told you i found a lightshow, now do you believe me?" man, from a kid with speech delays to talking to me about meta borderlands stuff, you can only imagine i am a happy gaming dad.
Awww, this was very sweet read. I hope you and your kid are doing great in the lands of the borders. I’ve made a playlist with my stories called “Tales With Hellfire” if you’re interested in more like this one! Wishing you and your family the best
Growing up throughout the cell phone advancement era, going from the ones that look like a giant house phone to the ones we have now , so glad I didn’t grow up on tablets and bullshit like that
i love these story vids. is there/can you do a vid going more in depth about the guy who power leveled you and ruined the character but it ended up being a good thing? ik you briefly talked about it with Kouton on that “Borderlands 2 was different in 2014” video but it’d be interesting to know how he did it, how it affected you and what you took away and learned from starting legit
I appreciate that my dude! And that’s an amazing idea, especially because I’ve alluded to that a couple of times on the channel, and without that guy ruining my character my experience would’ve been completely different. Definitely putting this in my notes for future videos. Thank you for the suggestion
remember playing borderlands 2 on my ps4 and join an random party I was on the frost level after you ship on with claptrap well those three group and I started looting them chest before them funny part my pov: one of them was running towards me but I got kicked off before something happen best moment of my life 😂.
That's an entertaining story, i dont have one of my own because i can't remember anything right now. If i remember something i might leave a reply to this comment. Kids can be a$$holes because they don't know any better and like what was said in the video it's very much trial and error for them. That only time I've played online with other players is when Sony occasionally does a weekend where players can play online for free. I don't pay to play online for few reasons 1. I think it's stupid to have to pay to play online on consoles. 2. I prefer to play by myself. 3. I just don't think I'd actually play online that much anyway.
Yes. It’s a crazy rare world drop, that’s one of my bucket list drops! I made a whole vid talking about my bucket list in bl2 (all the rare things I want to see that I haven’t yet)
Kids are assholes your a lil late for that South Park is way ahead of ya *kek* but I did saw that guy was a SR spawn though before I got the disk for the DLCs (as they made a error on the shipping) and was able to farm him since I had the vanilla Borderlands 2 so he had a 100% spawn rate on ground Sanctuary so that was a easy trophy en made my first run easier with Salvador
We gotta find baby boo and make them reunite
Real. If you’re reading this BabyBoo. Add me on twitter 😅
9 years old in 2013?? Haha wow haha damn u makin me feel old i was 32 in 2013 when i was 9 supernintendo and original doom was the thing at that time 😂😂😂
That’s one of the cool things about borderlands, it’s enjoyed by all gamers of all ages
2:20 if you slag a loot homie before he initially touches the ground, he becomes immune to being slagged... For some reason.
Holy shit! Hellfire, I actually know who Baby Boo is. I don't want to blame you for what happened, but his life went to a dark place that he joyfully embraced and never came back from.
Baby boo grew up to become BL3 Brian!
Lmao, I can’t tell if you’re joking or not 😭😭😭
So this was your first ninja loot experience? I remember my own baby boo experience in the original destiny, this kid kept harassing us in our public chat to power level him and when we said no you wouldn't believe the high pitched vitriol kid could belt out!
100%
Came for the Borderlands, stayed for the philosophy
Those old headsets were a classic and theres nothing funnier than recirving a voice message on xbox of someone playing a guitar or some shi 😂
Shit was a different time fr 🤣

Rumor is Baby Boo became a fan of Wonderlands...you screwed up, Hellfire! LOL
😭😭😭oh shit. Let’s hope it ain’t true or else I’m a dead man

Hell yeah, the cheeser got stuck in the mud by the little dude of the group! Love to hear it

Same! I'm not playing until recently it's a different game
I know I've been spamming comments this video but man I loved this video we need more story's with you
Much love homie
It's really too bad that you didn't know how to duplicate weapons with the duel-glitch.

Miss this typa stuff, like playing Micheal myers on call of duty and shit. Those were the days
I think that’s just typical Xbox 360 days where everyone was a troll at one point or another

I love the acting on sanctuary at the crazy earls part😂
💀
Farming was hardly farming back on the xbox 360, the load times were like 2 and a half minutes long 😭
That load times aren't that long.
I do have BL2 on my PS4 and Switch, but I still occasionally play on my 360.
@@alphab01mcoc83 it was an exaggeration 🤦♂️
Thanks for sharing us this little story I got a huge laugh out of it!
Glad you liked it :)

This is like the equivalent of a squeaker joining a mw2 lobby to hear all the racial slurs thrown at you. It builds character honestly
Letting your 6 yr old online is setting them up to get bullied, poor baby boo lol
😭😭
Goat video
You really like the general knoxx aesthetic hu?
Did y’all know we can get pearls from these cabinets?-

You're a little too late to just now be ranting about this
that’s kinda the point of a story time 😂
