replying borderlands 1 starting yesterday, had so much fun stayed up 3 hours later than my bedtime LOL Bl2 is great but the theme and overall feels from bl1 is so goooddd

I would just point out that the reveal trailer was NOT gameplay. A simulation of what gameplay might kind of look like, but absolutely not gameplay. No HUD, no controller/MKB movement, just a supercut of 3rd person walking shots and highly choreographed first person sequences.

The Tinny Tina DLC (for BL2) was really great, but this Wonderlands is just pure trash and shitty jokes...

Like I said before rather wait n see what’s new plus the gameplay needs to seen for all to be witnessed

Bordeland 1 is better that any other bordeland

i think what solidified this game as potentially being awful is just the fact that randy wouldnt stop tweeting about how well everyone did on it, sure its one thing to be excited about a game, but to say its the best game yet while withholding a MAJOR amount of information about it spells only doom

I was the loot guy, I'd always wander off looking for red boxes while my buddy bricked his way through story events in BL1, and when he died, it was always inopportune like right as i found a chest and was checking out the loot...i chilled out in bl2 mainly cause red chests seemed rather lackluster overall in that game. Edit: we were playing split screen, our first play through we 100 percent the main game in like 23 hours of playing at once. Then we got all the expansions and continued.

I think it’s going to continue with the status quo but I enjoy the updates here

I’ve peen playing this franchise since day one. It’s driving me nuts that the community is blowing up because of a 1st look. Do any of you remember talking s**t about BL 2&3 1st looks? It was the same thing that is happening now. And as soon as the games came out and we knew about their stories and action skills people got excited! You really think they are going to give away anything other than the bare essentials right now? Everyone take some anxiety meds and wait until we know more.

Take two specifically stated fiscal 2026, that means before May 1st 2025 April 25th 2025 calling it now

I love borderlands 1 but the DLC’s were atrocious.

The writing can still be horrible I do not care, but if the gameplay slaps as hard as bl3 with the additions of air dashes being a good change they got a guaranteed buy from me.

4/20 release date

I'm keeping my hype levels totally neutral until I see anything deserving to raise that.

Every day we go without gameplay, a release date, and pre-orders, the faster the ever shrinking window for a 2025 release vanishes. I don't see August on the table unless GTA6 is going for like a Thanksgiving week release. I don't see May unless we get news within like a week. So June and July? Almost feels more realistic if they had a Sept GTA6 launch and a Dec BL4 launch given the engine change and seemingly rushed announcement 3 months before we got the trailer, unlike the week window from BL3's teaser to reveal trailer.

BL1 weapon design for me. I like that the guns feel, look, and sound like guns. Sure the manufacturer bonuses weren't as pronounced but it allowed the parts to shine. Cold accessory on machine pistols, jakobs XX material with +600% knockback, the anarchy title, the carnage barrel, etc. The variety came from the parts. The manufacturer bonuses invalidate entire manufacturer/gun type combos like how hyperion snipers suck in BL2. And in BL3 while tbe weapons are highly detailed, most aren't very gun-like. Weird firing noises, shooting projectiles that don't resemble bullets, maliwan's charge-time bullshit, shapes that don't resemble the weapon type they represent. The guns are too alien, too cartoony. I want to actually aim for headshots again.

Honestly they should just make Wonderlands its one thing have one studio work on the mainline Borderlands while Wonderlands gets improved. The Multiclassing in Wonderlands is so fun. Oddly enough everyone I play with prefers Wonderlands over Borderlands 3.

I hope it releases as a good game. Im NOT pre ordering after Wonderlands was so bad. Also Ava...

I’m excited for this game! It’s a borderlands game so I expect it to be about the same as the previous games. Not excited about vehicles or vehicle combat. I want raid bosses, things like the Maliwan takedown, and good endgame like op levels. I’m content with more of the same. Handsome jack was lightning in a bottle, they’ll likely not recapture that so I’m not expecting a villain that matches him, if they do, great.

I think they are batshit insane for publicly claiming a 2025 release. If the game was ready for a summer 2025 release we'd have gameplay or a release date. Hearing they converted to UE5 just cemented that there is no way this game is almost ready. If it actually launches this year I'd expect it to eithsr seriously lack content or be an unstable mess.

What is it with Gearbox and trying to recreate old characters to look like what a millennial would think is hip or cool. Too many half shaved hairdos and man buns, beards, and giving characters funny lines that only a 30 year old single mom who's chronically on Facebook would find funny.

2k is not going release Borderlands on grand theft because I'd rather have Borderlands.

Ik you hate bl3's main story so do I and Sam winkler defs messed up big time however the dlc in bl3 is some of the best in the series in my opinion, Not every writer can keep hitting banger after bagger or keep making dogshit. For example look at bl2 writer Anthony Burch made easily the best stories in the series but he also did help write the worst story in borlder lands (New tales of BL) and that is by far the most disgusting slop to come outta gearbox's face hole. P.s. not hating I respect your vids and your opinions just saying that I reckon we aorta give ol' Sam stink wrinkle one last chance before BL dies cause like it or not this new game is either gonna be what kills the franchise or revives it enough to milk it just that little bit more.

theres like a 99% chance that they had to cut corner or straight up content, for moving to unreal5. potentially worth it. maybe, a lot of UE4 is portable to UE5. depending theres a smol chance they took 0 hit but yeh.

Luckily I'm in the Southern Hemisphere and it's Summer here in New Zealand, so it's not cold it's nice and warm brother, love the content dude ,keep it up!!
