Hard one to really pin down, but to reason it out. I think one should have a full Leather Set by Lantern Year 8 or 9. Which means you should be working on getting Iron around the same time. Exactly when after that depends on what Quarry monsters you have, constructing Phoenix or Dragon Armor which both want iron (and leather) might slow this down. You absolutely want to be working on it all before LY20 arrives, so I'd aim for LY15 at the absolute latest and I often have it open around LY10-12.
@@FenBossBattlers Sounds like I need to get on the ball then. I'm Ly11 right now and just finished a 2nd full leather set. I've been very resource lucky this campaign but very survivor unlucky (I haven't been able to get a single survivor past 4 weapon points). I had a leather shield for the butcher due to lucky clubbing of baby lions which really trivialized that fight.
