It's the attitude of , "you was dressed like that?", "you was asking for it", "what do you expect?". What I expect is to be able to wear something that makes me feel good and not get attacked for it. A guy wears what he wants but he doesn't get attacked, so why should a woman? A woman is never asking to be attacked or assaulted.

@@ellamanfredi3299 Because this happened to my older Half-Sister one time when my Half-Nephew Korban was a baby. This really brought back memories for when she posted it on her Facebook.
My Mum was a survivor of the r word by a close family friend. And Back in the late 90s while i was in secondary school i was alone in my form room waiting for my Dad to pick me up at the end of the day, when a boy in my year came in. After a few minutes of 'small talk' he thought it was ok to stick his hand between my legs. If i hadnt of screamed alerting a teacher i dread to think what might have happened. 25 years later and I bet he doesnt even remember what he did, but i sure do. Woman could be walking the street totally starkers or a s** worker and it still doesn't give anyone the right to take what is not theirs. And Zan is right we learn useless rubbish in schools like the cell of a leaf and algebra whichive not used once in my adult life, yet they cant teach basic human respect, bounderies and consent. Not hard pressed to figure out who came up with the curriculum plans.
what exactly is it you think they teach in schools? like do you honestly think their going around telling kids that its okay to rape people? no the people who do these things more often than not do know that what they are doing is wrong it just doesn't stop them from doing it. it isn't a matter of educating people its just a matter of taking steps to keep ourselves safe like everyone on the planet has to.
How very real a cannabis overdose. A simply impossible feat. The only overdose ever recorded in history is the Moroccon truck driver who's load of hash slipped forward killing him. Lying about drugs is about the most dangerous & stupid thing to do. Stop
This was a very powerful message, and must be taken seriously especially with more and more hatred towards women becoming way too prominent in todays society. I commend Hollyoaks for bringing more awareness to this.👏🏻

Massive respect to hollyoaks for rasing awareness on a major issue, that has been going on for years and still goes on, hopefully the more people discussion this and put more awareness on this problem then thing's will change
I looked up the statistics on the fact that 1 woman is murdered every 3 days in the UK. That is true, however this video does not mention that there were 177 female murder victims and 416 male murder victims which is, on average, more than one per day. I got this data from the census 2021 homicide in England and wales. Obviously we need to address the issues of domestic abuse and sexual harassment but please do not make murder seem like an issue that affects women more when it disproportionately affects men more
Women are biologically less violent and less likely to commit or engage with violent crime. If men can't police each other or protect each other, let alone women, then how is that the fault of women? Females can't do anything to stop or control male aggression, sadly, that's on men--but men refuse to take responsibility, step up, and work out a way to make that happen. Until they do, everyone of all sexes suffer.
@Penda Fen violence is an issue that can affect anyone regardless of gender, race or sexual orientation. The average man cannot stop that just like women cannot stop it. You're absolutely right that men are more biologically prone to violence and engage with violent crimes, i won't deny that. I simply don't see how the average man can stop violence, all i can do is not be violent to women (which in my personal circumstances is a given because I'm gay and therefore don't desire anything from women). I just think that, unfortunately, violence is always going to exist because it exists everywhere in nature. Sure we can do things to lessen it but it'll always be there. My original point was mainly just trying to address the fact that it's a human issue and not an issue that solely affects women. I will acknowledge that the root causes of the violence are different, for example men are more likely to fall victim to gang culture where they are likely to be killed, that's an issue that needs to be addressed in society
Look up the stats on who is committing the majority of those murders. Violence in general needs to be tackled. The point of this campaign & storyline is the creeping escalation of bad behaviour
I believe Hollyoaks highlighted male on male domestic violence during their storyline about John Paul and George Kiss. I think Tony also had a crazy suitor in recent years but I might be mistaken.
It rarely happens because they're pushing the agenda where every man is some kind of women stalker or some crap. I'm all for women's safety but they can't go on like every man is out there to kill every woman or whatever
@pia pie but never show female abuse and violence towards men. It's more prominent than people want to admit. It was literally a storyline of a female teacher getting pregnant by a student and was brought up in a few episodes. Where was the outcry and showcase for that?
Can I just say I'm shocked that men still do anything to harm women, but nothing is being done about the reverse either women harming men in the way they have been treated throughout the decades. women harming men hardly ever gets the public recognition it deserves aswel and the masarginistic views of not just other men but some women too still have views that any physical or emotional harm from women towards men should just be swept under the rug until we're 18 in some cases it does get delt with as it's considered child harm but once you hit that 18 and over the law isn't on women's or men's side and it needs to change for both. I had similar cases when I was growing up about women being abusive and some girls to especialy when you didn't like them back and u couldn't at the time tell them why as you weren't emotionally ready to admit at that age you are a gay person and so they take it out physically on you or emotianly blackmail you into remaining their boyfriend just because it embraces them but that's more to do with my coming out story but has elements of what women do to men aswel but it's never publicised or talked about and it should be. #endallabuse

Don't want to be that person, but 6 people are murdered in 3 days on average. So less than 20% of murders is men killing women. That's not a women problem that's a country problem.
