Yes of course!! Honestly I’m like a 32C but I stretch into my top perfectly without increases. But def add some extra stitches for a larger bust than mine! ❣️
I am a beginner in crochet and your tutorial was the first one I could follow without missing anything. Thank you for so much clarity!!! This time it turned out small (my fault for not measuring correctly) but it looks like a corset and I love the shape. I will look for more of your tutorials.Thank youu!!
I found this and thought it would look good with the yarn I’m using, and was surprised to see that it’s the same yarn you’re using, just different colors!! It turned out so good, thank you!
omg thank you. i’ve been wanting to make a bralette that was more like a tank top. but the only tut i can find were with making cups and all that jazz. i’ll def use ur tutorial thanxx
I love your channel so much. I am older and would like to see some badass shawl/scarf tutorials. I used to wear all your fun stuff but not anymore. I wish I was your age again. Thanks Sista!
Was waiting for this to drop since you asked about the thumbnail on IG! I love a crop top bc I love a project I can finish quickly and have that satisfaction. And I actually just found that yarn after I watched your hunt for cotton yard video. It was so soft and comfy to work with. Might have to go back for more to make this project.
I'm sick right and really tired so easy to follow tutorial like this is great :) Almost halfway done (I'm slow crocheter especially when sick) and super excited to get the finished product 😌
Love watching your videos! I'm an avid knitter but definitely gonna try my hand at crochet now! would be interested in a ski mask tutorial since you love balaclavas so much I thought that wouldn't be to far fetched x
Starting this tutorial now with the cotton cakes. I’ve been so excited to try it! If it goes well I’m hoping to also follow this pattern and make a dress ☺️ thank you!!
love this! just started on the ribbing and already cant wait to finish this project. would it be possible to turn this into more of a tank top style just by adding more rows to the body portion (i.e. more single crochet rows)? or would that turn out wonky? i love the style of this but am not totally comfortable with it being a bralette style on my body.
I love this thank you I want to make this for my daughter as a surprise are you an XS? For body size I apologize I just don’t want to ruin the surprise
Hi Erin, thanks for the pattern to this beautiful top! Was one yarn ball enough for you? My store sells them at 100g, but I’m wondering if yours was 200g as it looks bigger despite being the same brand and fabric. Thank you for your content 🥰
hi!! i’m planning on making a swimsuit inspired by lucy gray bairds from the hunger games, and i was using this as an inspo, but her top doesn’t have the extra ribbing on the bottom as yours does. would it work if i just made a chain in place of the ribbing and worked from that?
Does it hurt the nips to wear?? I’ve never made a crochet top before but I imagine it gets tender? Do you add something underneath? I want to make this it’s beautiful 🥰
@@itserinb Ah so sorry, I’m having such a hard time visualizing how it’d come together ! how would we connect the straps? Or have the ribbed portion still wrap around our bodies so it’s not just an open flap lol Thank you so much 💓
If I'm using dk worsted weight (3) instead of medium worsted weight 4, how many chains should I start off with for the height of the ribbing? I'm between 14 or 15 but not sure how tall it should actually be :/
I think it means you should have a number of stitches that you can divide by four. For example numbers like 100, 96, 92, 88, and 84 can be divided by four so the amount of single crochet you have should be a number like that :) I hope you understand what I mean English is not my mother language :D
This is not for larger sizes, anyone over a D cup, don’t even bother tbh… it’s a beautiful design but it’s meant for smol knockers. Also I’ve tried both methods, doing this design as she shows it but to my measurements, AND adding increases for the larger, both don’t work for larger ESPECIALLY adding increases.. makes it literally too big to fit and I’m a DDDD cup. Just don’t waste your time 😅
Thank you for adding the steps for larger chests! I'm a C/D cup and it's not always easy knowing what alterations need to be made 💚
Yes of course!! Honestly I’m like a 32C but I stretch into my top perfectly without increases. But def add some extra stitches for a larger bust than mine! ❣️
Your instructions are so clear and detailed. Can never go wrong with your tutorials! Thank you❤️
This is the best thank you!!

Hahaha great minds 😉😉

hope I get to see your creation soon! 💖
I love your fancy little extra movement with your hook on each stitch
I’m so excited to make this great tutorial! I love that you are very detailed when explaining and don’t just do one and skip ahead to the finish:)
Sometimes I talk too much but I like to explain why I’m doing something that way people can figure out if they want to do the same thing!! 🥰❣️
I love your channel so much. I am older and would like to see some badass shawl/scarf tutorials. I used to wear all your fun stuff but not anymore. I wish I was your age again. Thanks Sista!
I love the look of shawls!! ❣️
So pretty! I can’t wait to make me one. I will have to make a large. Lol You look beautiful in your top. Thank you for sharing. ❤🧶

Yes you can definitely just extend the top with more rows of sc! 💖
Awesome thank you 🌻
Thank youuuu!
How did you get the stripes to line up perfectly without the color changing midway though a row? Love this top by the way, I can't wait to make it ❤️
It just happened while I worked the pattern!!
@@itserinb Thank you! I'll have to see how it works for me :)
My cotton cakes are all labelled as a 4/worsted! I’ve always thought they’re pretty light for a #4 but that’s strange yours is 3!
Whaaaat yours are a 4? Hmm maybe they “reformulated” the newer cakes cause mine says #3!! ❣️
I love this thank you I want to make this for my daughter as a surprise are you an XS? For body size I apologize I just don’t want to ruin the surprise
My underbust is around 32 inches, my chest is around 36 inches! 💖 depending on what I wear im usually a “small” 🥰
@@itserinb 🌼thank you so very much💛 Erin I was so nervous even asking you 😁
Thank you, the measurements are very helpful! 💚
OMG I MADE IT THANK U
Love this!
Love you!

I think they only sell it in the 100g cake so one was enough for me!

Such a cute top! What color is the yarn by Caron?
Very pretty and feminine top.🤍 Love the yarn color-way. How're you doing Erin?
I’m doing really well right now!! Happy healthy, and feeling creative. Hope you’re doing well too! ❣️❣️
After you connect the band and you add the single crochets, how do you determine where to put the singles? Front or back loop only or both loops?
both loops
girly do u have this in knit i’ve seen this in the previous video but no pattern :( really wanna pick up knitting hehe
Does it hurt the nips to wear?? I’ve never made a crochet top before but I imagine it gets tender? Do you add something underneath? I want to make this it’s beautiful 🥰
🙁
Do the cotton cakes come in different weights? They are at my craft store but I can only find them in medium weight :/
No they come listed as a #4 but I classify them as a DK #3 💖
I'm like 10 rows into the body but it doesn't lay flat..is it supposed to?
@itserinb its so cute& I can’t wait to make it. i was also wondering, how do you turn it into a backless top?
Same steps, I just don’t connect the chain in the round, work a flat panel ❣️
@@itserinb Ah so sorry, I’m having such a hard time visualizing how it’d come together ! how would we connect the straps? Or have the ribbed portion still wrap around our bodies so it’s not just an open flap lol

The height of the ribbing is totally up to you! If you’re between 14/15 stitches it won’t make a big difference ❣️
@@itserinb thank you so much! 14 it is! 💕
Umm what does multiple of 4 mean
I think it means you should have a number of stitches that you can divide by four. For example numbers like 100, 96, 92, 88, and 84 can be divided by four so the amount of single crochet you have should be a number like that :) I hope you understand what I mean English is not my mother language :D

8:55 - 8:59 what do you mean by multiples of 4?❤
4 8 12 16 20, any # that can be divisible by 4
Hey. But how do I ensure I have added multiples of 4?
@saumyasingh6419 count your stitches lol divide by 4, if it's a whole number then it's a multiple of 4
Is it actually labeled that? Because where I'm at the same yarn is labeled a #4.
Yes my label said #3 light !
@@itserinb Huh. That's weird then. Ima have to look online then. Thanks.
Reminder: 11:57
Just a comment for the algorithm ❤️
The freaking best. Thank you for your thoughtfulness 🥲🥲❣️❣️
What’s with the multiple of 4 I’m not understanding:(
We need the stitches to be divisible by 4. First divide by 2 to separate front from back panel, then divide by 2 again for right cup and left cup 💖
💞💞💞
Is it possible to make this backless
Oh yea! I’m making one right now 🥰
Hauck Locks
Damien Unions
Heyyyyyy 🥰
Hiiii!
First
I had to frog this thrice, cus I kept making it too small to fit over my shoulders🥲 making the one with the lace in the back now insted🫠
