Love it! Took me a little less than two weeks. I mostly worked in it while riding the bus to work and other traveling. I did one strap how she did it in the video and I did the other by kind of just attaching it and I like mine better because it goes straight up, her pattern kind of guides the strap outwards which makes it feel like it’s falling off my shoulder. Otherwise I loved making this and I live the result! Thanks for the tutorial!
Great pattern, ended up using only 100 gr for it. I would recommend try it on as you go along to see how it fits, specially the straps and the length of it (mine turned out about three fingers above my bellybutton). Loved how it turned out, thanks so much for the tutorial!
@@ilariaesposito9972 I used a 3.5 mm hook. The yarn I used is marketed as a category 2 yarn, but tbh I think it’s mislabeled, and is actually a light category 3 yarn.
I just wish I could see what it looks like on a person. The piece is beautiful but I still want to know if it’s something I’m gonna wear before I spend hours and hours making it. This pattern is gorgeous and well made. I would really appreciate if you could have someone model it for the video :) ❤️🥺👉👈
You should check out krystal everdeen because she makes things and shows you how to make it to fit you (and she models them and shows you how to make it your own size by showing you with her in it)
@@koolykoalaroblox3636 um. Well first off, I already watch her channel. Second you missed my point… I already know how to make items fit my body my point is I still wanna see what it looks like on a human body before I make the commitment to start making it.
@@koolykoalaroblox3636 There are somethings that just because they look pretty doesn’t mean I’m gonna wanna wear it. It has nothing to do with my measurements and everything to do with the design of the piece and how it wears. Yes measurements do play a role in the fit of a garment. However, it’s irrelevant to what I was saying in my comment. If I’m making the piece and putting hours of work only to put it on and not like it on as a garment that’s a huge waste of my time and seeing it worn in the video helps me a lot in determining whether I want to actually do a project or not.
Heyy so in the blog it says at the beginning S( M L Xl) later on when she gives the instructions she puts fr example "Repeat row 2 until you reach row 102 (110, 118, 126)." 102 being small, 110 medium, 118 large, 126 xl " Repeat round 2 until you have completed round 16(18, 20, 22). @@marymargaretburke yeah thats what i meant like how long the rows are in cm or inches. I'll probably just measure the rows and see which would work for me
thank you so much for this video, I'll start right now. special thanks for your good speech, I'm not from an English-speaking country, but nevertheless everything was perfectly clear to me:)
Beautiful top and looks easy to make. Can we work in the round instead of slip stitching at the end of every row so that there is no line from the slip stitches?
Gracias!!!!, el tutorial es tan fácil de entender que me demore un dia en terminar el mio y hasta pude hacerle pequeñas modificaciones a mi gusto guiándome por lo que aprendí 🤗
i litterally hate doing a lot of rows but i finished them. i slowly feel the pain in my hand and wanted to give up but then i said to myself ,,oh look you're over the half of the project" it gave me a little motivation kick but then i saw i'm just by minute 2:13 in the video but i will keep going... until i run out of yarn...
I love this tutorial, super easy to follow, thank you! However I have a question, how can I be sure I did 102 rows at the beginning? I forgot to count for a moment so I would like to know if there is a way to be sure of the number of rows, maybe the length or something like that? Thank you again!!
No way, I'm at 2nd back triangle and now I noticed I started following the S pattern instead L when starting triangles... I'm just so mad at myself, I spent so much time on this... Anyways I feel like this pattern is great, gonna try again as soon as I can afford more yarn 🥹 Thank you!!!
I absolutely love this top!! I have made it but I had a bit trouble with the counting😅 Mine turned out way shorter? smaller? It does fit on me though so I guess did something right😃
Me: omg I love this top! *goes to the store in excitement and buys yarn* Starts crocheting the waistband and realising I bough yarn for a 2.7 mm hook.. I had to do 170 rows for the waistband (I am a small) lol. It’s looking cute so far but will definitely take a while to finish. If anyone has tips to calculate when to size down for the triangles please let me know! Anyways, good tutorial and love from Belgium!
Such great tutorials, thank you. So easy to follow. Can't wait to get started. Just out of interest as a newbie to crochet, how would you decrease when doing double crochet? Noticed in your tutorials differ for sc and hdc.
Hello, I really like your top and the way you are making it. I have a question though, the yarn I have is called Drops Cotton Safran which take 3 mm recommended hook size, While the one you are using uses 4 mm size recommended. Can you advise me on the hook sizes I need to use for this type of yarn, also, I think I may have to use the measurements for the medium to make the small size, right? Thank you sooo much for your beautiful videos :)
I miscalculated the initial number of rows and I thought to myself « I’m not sure this will fit me but I trust the process ». 8hours in, I try it on and it’s like 2sizes too large🥲I want to cry. I don’t want to start over 😀
Thank you for the tutorial! Any tips for if the top starts to curl in the triangles & ribbing border? I can't figure out if it's because I'm not using the right yarn, or my tension is too tight. Thank you!
love the tutorial!! i'd like to make it with scrap yarn i have. I have approximately 150g of dk size 4 yarn, do you think that'll be enough or do i need to buy new yarn?
Hi, I love the top and just started to create my own. But now I‘am at a point, where I don’t really know, what went wrong: so I‘m done with the ribbon-band and working on these 16 rounds. I also turn after every round but at the point where I turn there is like a little increase. Like I‘am adding some stitches. 🤔 So it‘s going up a bit. Don‘t exactly know how to explain without a picture hahah. Do you have any tips what went wrong? 🤔☺️ Thank you!
Carrie , love the pattern but not having much luck with the size. My granddaughers both have ample bosoms so to get the triangle to cover them I need a larger size but then the underarm is too big and I need to try to fix it. My grandaughter loves it but I need to work out how it is so baggy under the arms. also 24 rows on both the front and back triangle is far too long but that is easily adjusted. Does anyone have the same problem, I'm going to do another one with a smaller hook in the body , maybe that will be better.
Amazing video I was able to do this in about 3 hrs unfortunately I was trying to do it with yarn I already had and decided to use weight 4 yarn and larger hooks so my sizing come out very awkward on my BUT the result is still cute I definitely recommend everyone try this
Hi! I’m using a different type of garn and that’s why the stitches and rows count don’t work with it. I wondered on how big each part is? How long the ribbing is and how tall the second part is? 😊
The end result is so cute that I'm not gonna let that initial 102 rows discourage me hahah
omg for real honey you go girl :)
Go for it

Great pattern, ended up using only 100 gr for it. I would recommend try it on as you go along to see how it fits, specially the straps and the length of it (mine turned out about three fingers above my bellybutton). Loved how it turned out, thanks so much for the tutorial!
I'm sure adjustments will work. I can't wait to make it in mustard
hey can you tell me how thick was the yarn you used? it was made for a 3.5 hook or for the 5 one?
@@ilariaesposito9972 I used a 3.5 mm hook. The yarn I used is marketed as a category 2 yarn, but tbh I think it’s mislabeled, and is actually a light category 3 yarn.
100g is enough?
@@cindyboliche7433 I’m quite a petite person so yeah, I only used 100 gr.
Made this top for my daughter....she absolutely adores it! Thank you so much 😊
one of the clearest tutorials I've ever seen! thank you so much
I just wish I could see what it looks like on a person. The piece is beautiful but I still want to know if it’s something I’m gonna wear before I spend hours and hours making it. This pattern is gorgeous and well made. I would really appreciate if you could have someone model it for the video :) ❤️🥺👉👈
Make it fit you.... measure your waist 👍😚😎. You can get it done 😉
@@artonyalascrafts4892 you also missed my point.
Thanks so much for the tutorial! I made the top and it is super cute. I am also a beginner and the steps were really clear and easy to follow.
Carrie esta muy hermoso!! Y lo explicas tan bien, muchas gracias.
Me encanta cuando no se equivoca en la explicación .muchas gracias sencillo y bonito
Eu conseguir fazer, ficou perfeito !!!! Obrigada pelo tutorial, muito bem explicado 👏👏👏👏👏
Vc pode me dizer o n° da linha que vc usou ? 😅 sou iniciante no crochê e fiquei um pouco perdida
This is cute! can you share the actual measurements for s m l xl? i checked the blog post and am having a hard time figuring which to make.
" 16 being Small, 18 medium, 20 large, 22 xl , and so on for the rest of the instructions. Hope it helped
@@beautifulbutterfly6669 Thank you so much I was confused about this as well so your comment was a life saver!!
@@madisonbaldwin1551
But what are the measurements i think is what she meant (as in, waist, bust, length, etc). I’m still trying to figure it out too
@@marymargaretburke yeah thats what i meant like how long the rows are in cm or inches. I'll probably just measure the rows and see which would work for me
Amazing tutorial! Easy to understand!😊
thank you so much for this video, I'll start right now. special thanks for your good speech, I'm not from an English-speaking country, but nevertheless everything was perfectly clear to me:)
Beautiful top and looks easy to make. Can we work in the round instead of slip stitching at the end of every row so that there is no line from the slip stitches?

Thank you very much for this tutorial. The top turned out very nice and fits perfect! :D
Me encantó!! Lo voy a hacer, saludos de Perú 🇵🇪
i litterally hate doing a lot of rows but i finished them. i slowly feel the pain in my hand and wanted to give up but then i said to myself ,,oh look you're over the half of the project" it gave me a little motivation kick but then i saw i'm just by minute 2:13 in the video but i will keep going... until i run out of yarn...
Muchas gracias por el tutorial!. Excelente explicación. La hice y me quedó hermosa 😍
Hola con grosor d hilo lo hiciste . Si me puedes decir x favor . Gracias
@@patriciabasualdo6563 Hola! Lo hice con hilo 100 % algodón y tiene 3 milímetros de espesor. Saludos!
So excited to try this. Thank you Carrie!
omg i just finished this and it's sooo beautiful ❤️ thank you so much 💜
how many grams did you used?
The end result is so cute
I love this tutorial, super easy to follow, thank you! However I have a question, how can I be sure I did 102 rows at the beginning? I forgot to count for a moment so I would like to know if there is a way to be sure of the number of rows, maybe the length or something like that? Thank you again!!
you should be able to count your rows
This is so cute, I am going to have to do the math to make plus size options
No way, I'm at 2nd back triangle and now I noticed I started following the S pattern instead L when starting triangles... I'm just so mad at myself, I spent so much time on this... Anyways I feel like this pattern is great, gonna try again as soon as I can afford more yarn 🥹
Thank you!!!
I absolutely love this top!! I have made it but I had a bit trouble with the counting😅 Mine turned out way shorter? smaller? It does fit on me though so I guess did something right😃
I accidentally did front loop stitches for the neckline so i guess I'll just have to make a second one
Did the same thing… stuck with it and I’ll make another one the correct way later, I noticed wayyyy too late😂
Thank you for amazing tutorials 💖
Such great tutorials, thank you. So easy to follow. Can't wait to get started. Just out of interest as a newbie to crochet, how would you decrease when doing double crochet? Noticed in your tutorials differ for sc and hdc.
Hi! This top is beautiful… if I want to do extra small size, how many chain I need?
Me gusta tus trabajos y gracias por subtítulos en Español.
I like how you do the triangle part
Hello, I really like your top and the way you are making it.
I have a question though, the yarn I have is called Drops Cotton Safran which take 3 mm recommended hook size, While the one you are using uses 4 mm size recommended. Can you advise me on the hook sizes I need to use for this type of yarn, also, I think I may have to use the measurements for the medium to make the small size, right?
Thank you sooo much for your beautiful videos :)
Thank you! I love this top! How many first stiches you have to make for a medium siza?
I miscalculated the initial number of rows and I thought to myself « I’m not sure this will fit me but I trust the process ». 8hours in, I try it on and it’s like 2sizes too large🥲I want to cry. I don’t want to start over 😀
look up videos on how to add elastic into the ribbing
thank you for this tutorial! instead of 102 rows for the band i did 94 because i am kinda tiny. this tutorial helped me a lot! thank you :)
Hi! I was trying to do this as I fit an XS but I’m worried it will mess up the proportions of everything else, how did you do it? :)
Thank you for the tutorial!
Any tips for if the top starts to curl in the triangles & ribbing border? I can't figure out if it's because I'm not using the right yarn, or my tension is too tight.
Thank you!
Mine is doing that too and I'm wondering what I did wrong 😭
grazie per il tutorial, voce calma e spiegazioni accurate :)
May I know the measuments of this S size? - bust? Waist? and length of the croptop? Thanks so much!!
I would like the measurements as well. I must work very tightly. If I connect my 102 rows, it barely fits around my head!
it's in the blog post linked in the description box
@@angiethomas9600 Same. :(
how many ball you need ?? i love it
Idk if this is just me, but their voice really reminds me of JustaMinx' voice
love the tutorial!! i'd like to make it with scrap yarn i have.
Seems like this takes awhile, but this tutorial is very easy to listen to!!
Hi Carrie! Love this design :) How many centimeters is the waistband of size s (102 sc)? Mine is too small with 3 yarn strands and 3.5 mm crochet hook
Amazing video I was able to do this in about 3 hrs unfortunately I was trying to do it with yarn I already had and decided to use weight 4 yarn and larger hooks so my sizing come out very awkward on my BUT the result is still cute I definitely recommend everyone try this
THREE HOURS??????? HOW?
@@racheladdison1933 I guess I crochet fast 😅 also I really wanted to finish it so It made me have super speed 😂
its the 14 of September and its 8:03 at night and i’m starting this.
I’ll edit this when i finish.
Guess u never finished ahaha
Merci à la personne qui a traduit en français ❤️ sache que je t’aime 😂
Che brava ... complimenti
those 102 roles came out of nowhere and had me out for a week
really cute and very good tutorial to follow, just a shame the wool i used had no stretch and it didn’t fit 😔
I love this top!!! if I use milk cotton yarn 4ply 50g to make it, is 4 balls enough? Thank youu
Hi! I’m using a different type of garn and that’s why the stitches and rows count don’t work with it. I wondered on how big each part is? How long the ribbing is and how tall the second part is? 😊
