Wait, are some people really giving you BS about doing this kinda vid for an event like Sick Week - as opposed to your revival-type videos??
Wow - they need to cool it! You and Jessica go have some fun! The nerve of some folks ! I love everything you do and taking us on adventures like this fella!
@@robertmceuen3630 Wow, you're not totally embarrassed by being a jackass on the internet? Stop trying to be edgy. It's not a good look.
@@robertmceuen3630calm down Robert you don't wanna have a stroke bub.
@@robertmceuen3630only one embarrassing comment around here bud...
@robertmceuen3630 so it's embarrassing to support Derek and his family while outing the idiots who do nothing but complain over free content? Good to know, I'll gladly be embarrassing.
@@coanderick - same.
A feller just finished watching the last build episode of liberty so this is nice to see the pay off right away!!
same here with a dose of 1320video in between the two VGG videos
Same here just finished the build video this afternoon had dinner and bam another video 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah it’s not usual it works like that. I finished it last night and was also pleasantly surprised to see this up
Me too!!
Yeah, I just finished watching the last build video. I didn't expect this so soon. 👍
It’s a lot of work filming an editing these events. So thank you for bring us along and taking the time to get them out quick.
This video was a blast !! Usually your driving a sketch mobile but driving these sweet rides is a change, thank you and Jess , Motion, Volunteer, Chad not Chad but the other Chad🤔
I love it when you let us tag along with y'all on these drag and drive events. Really makes a disabled and homebound fellers life just that much easier. ❤
always makes me laugh how you perfectly say "chad not this chad but the other chad" everytime
I still don't know if it's a meme or there are 2 Chads 😂
@@VisualAFMedia there are definitely more than 1 chad
I think Derek holds the record for knowing the most chads ever lol
@@VisualAFMedia3 I think 😂
It's great. lol
Here I am, 4 days out from a kidney transplant and I get to watch Derek and all the Chads rip sick week! I am so thankful that you guys are filming this and I get to tag along with you in my hospital room here in London, Ontario. I can't wait for Day 2 coverage. I got to meet you some day and shake your hand and say thank you for making my life that much mor enjoyable.
Chevelle did great for its first time out, good job Derek. You and Jessica have a great time as you sure deserve it.
Variety is the spice of a fellas life. Don’t stress yourself if some viewers complain about not every video being a junkyard revival. You have TONS of us who enjoy all your content, drag racing, new builds, old builds and revivals.
Derek, You do what's fun for you and your family (and your team) and I'm totally here to enjoy the ride and support y'all. That's what your channel's about for me. I'm just a 60+ yr old mechanically - minded chick from the Motor City who likes folks who know how to wrench on things. Simple as that. Thanks for all the fun and learning.
You're awesome; I've known some ladies like that; the one at the parts store was so smart, asked all the right questions, she had my total respect.
The other girl was a biker, ready to race anyone (her dad owned a cycle shop) & she told me what changes she made to her turbocharged Kawasaki. Impressive!
❤
Keeping the streak alive 2 days in a row new videos. Thanks for bringing us along.
You bet
Awesome news.. hope you guys have a great time and thanks for taking us along!
Nothing better than a good old vice grip garage❤
Yes ... !!!
best channel ever
SICK Week is Graduation Day for the whole darn year of VGG!!! We get to watch the results of a year's worth of Derek's work that he shared with us. Who wouldn't watch every year?!?
Good job. Great to see Jessica’s smiling face again, haven’t seen her for ages. Have fun
Nice to see a guy and his wife out enjoying themselves! Have fun!
The revivals, sick week, everything about your channel is to be admired but your attention to your fans is what is really special and what really matters. Very impressive sir. You are a legend 🙌
I haven’t had time to finish the last one and now this?! Thank you for bringing us along! Hope you’re having fun, stay safe. ~ Chuck. EDIT: Man, both of those ripped! Congratulations
OMG, floor Jack to the rescue! Genius! 😂
Liberty is such a sweet looking ride Derek. Glad to see it ready for sick week!
Derek, just saw the interview with Truck Talk Media. Man, take a break, we'll be here. You admitted it, you are burning out. GRFEAT to see the Chevelle running like it is, and the Motion Raceworks truck...wow...what can you say. Running 9's right out the gate!
THE most gorgeous Z28 race car. God the 80/81s are my favorite. Had my 80 Z28 since April 94...I was 3 and a half. We've always had that one and usually a second 80/81 at the same time. Most recently an 81 with 8600 original miles. Chads Z28 and KSRs soccer mom are my favorite race cars. True street cars.
Diggin’ that deep blue!
I agree! but mines a 77 non z
Naw... 69 was the best year body style, but I digress.
Your love of Chevelles is close to my heart as I had a grandmother (this is NOT a joke!) who's husband was a chevy dealer. They had a small dealership in a small rural town in Missouri. Grandmother wanted a "zippy car I can get to town in," so Granddad ordered her a 1970 Chevy Malibu, Gold, non SS coupe with white vinyl roof (very very grandmotherly-looking), with a 350 8cyl, with just a little ole racing cam. Driving my 2 brothers and I around (I was one of the younger twin boys), she would pull up to a stop lights with an unsuspecting teen boy driving a muscle car; (did I mention she had snow-white hair); she would rev. her little 350 just a smidgeon and give the kid in the lane next door a little raised eyebrow; when the light changed she would "put the onions to her" leaving muscle car kid in the look behind mirror. I just loved my grandmother; and her little grandmotherly rig as well....! Have fun!!!
DUDE for a burnout engine from Independence that 10.83 was a solid first rip in Liberty! keep it goin Derek! be safe and have fun!
A fella over here in sunny old England really appreciates the work you put into putting out this great content. 👍 Nice work, start to finish...
You are one Hustling Dude Derek!!
Rigs look FANTASTIC!!
Have fun and be safe guys!!!
Thanks 👍
Well a Guy was happy to see a guy and his gal doing things together and having fun! Thanks for bringing us along with you.
Instant good mood with Derek twice this week? Can't believe it but I'm looking right at it!! 😂
Thankyou Derek for taking us all along as someone far away from america we really enjoy these drag and drive events. 🇺🇸
Thanks Big D, for me Derek has literally saved my life, tough times for me in New Zealand at 51 years old and 4 kids I love to bits, the raw answer Big D (that's my term of endearment for Derek so not trying to take the piss at all) about when he said I won't miss a football game or a parent teacher interview was just mind-bending stuff, 16 24 hindsight is a clear way forward and the 1980s building a 355 chev'y HZ Holden Ute with my late dad was and still is my fondest memory, next to holding each of my 4 daughters in my arms for the first time, thanks TTM and thanks VGG, salt of the earth I think is an understatement, my universe is in line with how I get through the week waiting to see my internet dad Big D 🤗 Thank you for letting my face smile
Those are some nice boots, Derek!! Thanks for taking us to Sick Week virtually!
Sick week videos are some of the best all year.
Hey thanks for taking us along on the ride enjoy and be SAFE.
3 in a week, it's gonna be a good week. Thanks for taking me along, Derek and Fam.😅
Glad to see you guys enjoying the opportunity to have a good time with friends and fans. Both all the cool fans and your own cooling fans... 😉 Watching your shows is a genuine pleasure. Keep on keeping on.
To any of the people who complain about what Derek and family put out content wise, please feel free to start your own channel and show everyone how its done. I'm sure many here would love it if the keyboard pros would show everyone exactly what it takes out there. Thanks Bieri family for entertaining us. There are those of us who actually appreciate what you do.
Love what him and his wife put out . Beautiful family
It does my heart good to watch you and Jessica doing what you like to do and having a good time. Make memories and enjoy these days my friend.
That Chevelle is just gorgeous!
Your enthusiasm is infectious Derek. The feel good factor is a low 9 on the 1/4 and a high ten on the scale.
Thanks for the update.
You're blessed man.
All 4 are also blue.. Nice team.. Good luck derik and crew
I know you both have payed your dues over the years but you all have ALOT of fun. thanks for taking me along for the ride
YESSSS!!!! Thanks Derek!!
I live in New Zealand and ive been following this channel for a couple of years and I just love the drag and drive weeks thank you Derek for bringing us along with you
VGG time of year 🤘🎉
2 hours of VGG between 2 videos?
Yes please! Thanks for all the hard work Derek.
Nice to see Liberty dialled in after all the work put into it.
9:34, Sounds like Jessica is getting a chuckle from a guy. Big thanks for taking us along for the ride.
I’ve been waiting for this. Let’s see what this Chevelle can do. Thanks VGG
Thanks for putting in the drive segments, I think that’s the best part about drag and drives. Other UA-cam’ers neglect that aspect.
Have fun, go fast, stay safe! 👍
VGG and Sick Week! Always a good time. Love the thrash of work to get ready, and the week of content to follow along. Liberty is impressive 💪🏻
So excited for this series! I have a 1950 3100 that I’m working on and fingers crossed I’ll make it to sick week next year! Keep up the great work! Thanks for taking us along!
Thanks for bringing us along.
So happy to see you having fun !
Love when you guys bring us along on these road trips! Can't wait to see you all burn up the strip! Godspeed and safe travels!
I think you and Jess are the perfect example of the true American family. American Proud, God loving, and Family Supporting. Thanks for all you guys do. Never forget where you came from. And the rest will fall into place.
I love this week! Your videos make it feel like we're right there along. I look forward to this video series all year. Thank you VGG!
This upload couldnt have been anymore clutch !!
I was stuck in bad toughts and insomnia😅
Thank you VGG ❤
Jess & Derek - we VGG’rs know you two love doing these together…y’all always enjoy the ride, so thanks for bringing us along.
the kiddos enjoy breaks from us, too (and getting all jacked up on Mtn Dew)
-we’re currently seeing revival. the blue Chevelle is reviving its former 8th & 1/4mile-rip life
Thanks for bringing us along and sharing this build and the first race with the Chevelle looking forward for the next race
I love how other channels are focused on the win but vgg is happy with steady improvement day to day. Liberty chevelle is my favorite for the channel.
Love the content VGG. Keep it up! I'll be here no matter what you put up!
That Chevelle is absolutely beautiful and a 10.8 on the first run is gettin it 🔥!!!!
Wow coming up on 2 million subs, awesome job Derek. I’ve been here since around 50k subs!!!!
Looks like everything is working fine so far. Enjoy yourself while you can. Good Luck Derek.
Thanks to you Derek I'm now looking for my own sick week car 😅. I'm so excited for all of this!
Love everything you do. Thanks for sharing this experience.
Love watching these adventures y'all take! For those giving you a hard time for a video that isn't a revival, go step on a lego.
Love seeing Derek ripping at Events !!!
Awesome!! Your a smile factory my friend!! Giving a behind the scenes look for us at home!! Hope you have an awesome week!
OMG, the floor jack in the wheel well was brilliant! Thanks for sharing Sick Week VGG family.👍💯
Glad you enjoyed it
Great job Derek! Been following since the old days. Me, the old man from MN.
Congrats on all your achievements. You have a wonderful family, great friends and some amazing cars you’ve built. Your dad would be proud.
I've been around a long time, but I've never seen that done with a jack! A feller gives two thumbs up.
What gets my attention the most is that Jessica and you are a golden duo!
A Wednesday vidja? I'll be dipped!
21:14 That smile. You got the package in a marriage . Works hard and plays harder. I’m sure behind closed doors there’s more. But you got a good life going on for a couple more years. I’m definitely giving you two thumbs up.
Awesome channel. Thumbs up if you agree. If not, why are you here…
👍
Been here for years. What do you mean by your post?
If you’re taking a survey, I’m here to watch ‘em Bring The Thunder!
None of your business why we are here cupcake.
@@davideo1954 lmfao agreed!
Derrick give your crew some mad props for their work… awesomesauce!
Thanks for taking us along, best of luck this week.
I can’t stop imagining the 632 in the Chevelle😍
Always supporting you Derrick! Have a great time! Enjoy the family!!!! Love all the videos no matter what you’re up to!!!!!
This is my favorite week, love the events, the people and the trip! Always an adventure!
Events like this are the whole reason for reviving building these cars! Anyone who would complain about these videos.. they’re just not seeing the big picture. Thanks to everyone at VGG for all the great work and sacrifice it takes to make it happen for your followers. Love and gratitude from the Bronx, NY
AWESOME! GOOD LUCK!
Old man trick from the 1970s . Use a base mall bat to roll between the tire and fenders to clearance them. If a larger gap is needed, use a softball bat. 5:07
In the beginning of the video he mentioned that exact trick and stated he didn’t have a baseball bat.
@@campbelllawton3897 missed that.😅
Ironically, I am actually sick this week! Thanks for the update videos. Gives me something to do.
That Motion Raceworks truck looks SO good with a feller's special touches. It reminds me of my buddy's old (failing) 4.3 V6 OBS 1500 extended cab longbed that was STUPID clean and it would've been a PERFECT candidate for a 572 BBC, and y'all can argue this until you're blue in the face, but I'd have mine with a Tremec T-6060 and a McCleod Clutch. I would've also preserved the faded and scratched red paint with VGG Gloss Clear.
So nice to see Jessica's smile!
Good to see you guys in Orlando. the cars looked and ran great. maybe we can catch you again Friday.
The Chevelle is coming together nicely!
Awesome elapsed times from brand new rigs, Derek. I wish you every success on Sick Week and look forward to the bulletins.
Thank you for bringing us along!!
4:02 It is precision, subtle work like this that really keeps me coming back and truly separates the men from the... other men. You know, the ones whose tires still rub.
Love these type of videos! Revivals are great and all, but they get old after a while. I like seeing the next step for these cars!
I like videos where you’re making a car better at home, racing at these events, than just revivals all the time. I love how you do everything. Plus it makes me feel better that you’re at home with your family more. I work for an airline, I know what a life on the road is like. Keep it up
I live in Brevard county and work as an hvacr technician.
I saw all the cars coming down 528 on their way to the port.
What a treat!!
Thank y'all for what y'all do!!!!
I love these episodes just like the revivals. Not sure why the same gear heads that love the revivals wouldn’t want to see the behind the scenes of a self made racer. Always love all the shows keep ‘em all coming feller!!!!❤
That Chevelle is soooo sweet. Props, like whatever that means, like axle stands or bricks or something!
I love this week. So much great content from so many of my favorite personalities.
Greetings from England.
I have very fond memories of Bradenton - we were lucky enough to holiday there most years and made a point in visiting.
We're still in contact with some good friends we've met over the years
