the man was without a doubt the most underrated sith ever. we always talk about sidious being the og sith but then you think that without bane's rule of 2, sidious and plagueis probably would've never come to power themselves or at bare minimum wouldn't have made it anywhere near as far as they did without it. for me, bane will be the og sith due to basically saving it from itself
underrated? he's probably one of the only sith outside of palps and vader that people know?
Darth bane is possibly the most talked about sith next to Revan and Nihilis.
@@LightsOnTrees how’s that? He is underrated because he literally wiped all the sith out and then him and his apprentice were on the brink of getting killed in a 2v4 which they came out on top barely. If they would’ve been killed there wouldn’t have been a rule of 2 or maybe sith in general

Of those palps actually took over the republic, maul doesn't get close and plagueis hasn't even got any canon appearances, Bane has in one of the most famous Clone Wars arcs.
Only other Sith Lords that most people could name would be Revan, Nihilis and then maybe Malak, Kreia and Malgus, and Revan is the only one of those who's canon, and that's just by the barest of mentions.

technically Bane has killed more sith and jedi than any before or after him even vader didn't put up numbers like him because of order 66 states he was the greatest jedi killer meaning tactically while Bane has killed more than 100 at a time along with the entire sith order all at once in the books

Fairly certain we can agree the Disney Star Wars is the true Elseworld Stories, I mean the comparison of origin stories of new and old canon of Bane is like a burger from McDonald's to a steak from a five-star restaurant levels of difference.
I have the Darth Bane Trilogy books and would love to see him come to life. Glad he's getting more exposure and that he's still canon.

Star Wars is more about the money now. The fans will buy. Despite if the new film or TV series is any good. There was the attempt at story in the prequel trilogy. Story didn't matter in the last trilogy of Star Wars films - it's all money now.

Everyone credits Darth Bane with the Discovery of "Rule of Two" but he learned it from Darth Revans Holocron found on the unknown world. Darth Bane is more notorious for bringing the practice back after the Brotherhood of Darkness and Lord Kaan, prevented the ways of the Sith Order, and tried to make everyone equals.

True. You cant have a show with malak in without revan, likewise nihilus without sion and treya. Im not bothered by malak or revan, but z sith triumvirate show would be cool, and id love to get a darth bane movie trilogy. But, this is disney, id have no faith in them to do anything right...
What people don’t get about the Rule of Two is that there can only be 2 sith at a time but that doesn’t there aren’t more than 2 sith around in an era coming about. But the Rule of 2 doesn’t allow for them to exist, meaning that if there’s multiple sith running around, they are forced to kill one another INTILL there’s only 2 around left.
There can be more than 2 but the rule basically forces them to kill one another because they are unable to tolerate a rival sith’s ambition for power and conquest as they themselves are doing. Forcing even more infighting among them intill the 2 sith are left.
It’s crazy on how power hungry on just one sith is to for there to be so much infighting like this.
People forget Darth Revan drafted the idea of rule of 2.
Darth bane,s last name sounds like Bane from Dc one of Batman,s greatest villains some of these characters have a similar name☠☠.

Bane didn't wear anceint sith armor, his body was encased in insects called Orbalisks that fed off his darkside energy but their shells protected him from light sabers
