Just curious is supercharging the same thing as what sony did to their line of home audio and computer subwoofers by adding a magnet on the back side of the back plate to help magnitize the pole? Or at least similar
Digital Designs uses very high quality "Strontium Ferrite Magnets" in there supercharged subwoofers. The normal magnets that are used are just plain Ferrite Magnets that have a lower magnetic field rating when gaussed & charged.

not in this case more like they used a bigger or better grade magnet with a stronger field
