  • Here are just a few of our favorite women's all mountain boards from the 22/23 season. Unfortunately ‪@oldmanwintereight‬ couldn't include them all or the video would be a full on movie, so make sure to head over to thehouse.com for the full selection!

Would you recommend the capita paradise or the Solomon wonder? I mostly ride mammoth / big bear, so looking for a good, fast carve but not too stiff of a board for those slushy bear days

I liked your review and it made me wonder if i should be looking to change boards. I ride a feelgood 149. It's the flying V and it's an older board maybe 8 years or so. I only ride 8 to 10 days a season, though I wish it could be more. Now I have some knee pain from a torn ACL that occurred many many years ago, compounded by my age (70) but iI don't want to give it up, not yet at least. I would say I'm a real solid Intermediate rider, live on the East coast so not a ton of pow here, and I'm 5 feet tall. I was thinking or wondering if that Capita board might work better for me at this point in my life and also should I go shorter?

@@Cocora22 oh wow, yeah you could be riding a much shorter board. I would just look at a good mid-ranged, all mountain board in the 138cm area.

I have a tough time deciding between the ride Saturday and the capita paradise. I like to have a bit of a softer board for buttering and switching but also want to be able to ride it all around the mountain and park. Which board should I go for? If you have any other suggestions besides these two boards please let me know!

Something closer to a 144 would honestly fit a little better

what size would you recomend for a 5' 125lb woman?

also would a M binding or a S binding be better for size 7 boots?

I would look at boards in the 138-139 range.

@@andrewmarshall754 For bindings it depends on the specific company and but a good rule of thumb is just make sure that the size of your boot is listed in the size range of the bindings. If you have a boot size that falls within in 2 different sizes you can't go wrong. (If that happens to me I always go with the smaller binding if its available for a little more snug fit.)

@@oldmanwintereight thanks for the reply 😁. Do you think a 145 size would be fine or is that to big?
