Hey man, i was wondering if you would do a updated video on some bindings. I have mostly been a Burton Binding guy however i have ridden a lot of different things. Today I went to a shop in Pa and I was very surprised by the new Arbor Bindings. I would love to see a updated video on all the old and newer brands…Arbor, Drake, Burton, Bent Metal, Flux, Union, Solomon, K2 like all of them.. bc i think in this area there is a lot of improvements.
And how you match bindings to the stiffness of the boards.
Thant would be a cool video.

What’s ur take on the Jones Mountain twin? I just picked it up and a splitboard and stoked to shred it!
interesting. i loved the Hometown Hero a couple of years back. Hated the Gremlin though. May need to give it another shot in a smaller size... Aeronaut sounds very cool.
For Gremlin, size and binding placement really matters. Also, you need to give it a few tries to really get the feel and groove for the board.
how do you feel about the santoku as an all mtn daily driver?
Been in and out riding and deciding i need new gear. 44 and 5'11 and 220. More less built a bit but not bulky. Wondering what size directional for park,pipe and freeriding

The website said highpath is 7/10 stiffness, wonder why you feel it softer, how does its stiffness compare to huckknife? I’m 143 pounds, should I choose dancehaul instead?

hey guys what do you think about the Nitro Team as an all-mtn option and can someone explain me the difference between the 2023 and 2024 version of it, cause i thought about buying it as a long term all-mtn board
Team is really the best and only board you'll ever need unless you intend to ride a lot in deep pow. It's similar slightly directional traditional camber than Burton Custom and IMHO is superior for experienced rider as compared to these newer hybrid profiles.

Never tried the gremlin, but I'm in love with the mervin boards all of them just ride so easy but are extremly capable
I’m a die hard Union guy. My brother in law needed a new setup last season and I found an Arbor combo for him.
I was super impressed with the Cypress Bindings. Last year mid season I got my wife a Jones Dream catcher and Arbor Sequoia’s. She was on Union before send brother was on button Cartel. They both LOVE THE ARBORS !
I think I’m gonna pull the trigger on some Hemlocks. All 3 of us really think Arbor is putting out some real quality bindings these days !
Hi TJ, how does the Harpoon compare to the Bateleon Camel Two? I'm looking for a powder board that can handle steeps, trees, groomers, and won't kill me in the moguls. I'm also looking at the K2 Excavator. Anything else come to mind for the type of riding I'm doing? I live in the Midwest, but hit up the Vail resorts (Vail, Breck, BC, and Keystone) a few times per season. Thanks!
Didn't ride a Harpoon but I had camel two. It's good on power days but other than that this snowboard sucks. It lacks edge bite and feels washy on groomers.

Interesting to see the aeronaught up there over the outer space living or mercury. I know kev loves his but i dont know. That flex pattern has me a bit skeptical about board behaviour under foot at speed
Yeah, I'd have said Mercury or Mega Merc instead of Longos' Aeronaut.

What makes you rate these boards above the Ride Piggies? Are you too bored to mention them again or do you think they aren't good recommendations anymore?
I picked up the gremlin 152 end of 23 season with the Atlas. I'm 175lbs. I think I should have went with the Atlas Pro. Your thoughts?
Ive used strata and malavita, I love the surfy feel of it. Totally up to your style of riding
@aar6908 if I went with th 147 I would have been okay with the surfy feel. I found the 152 more stiff and so I think a stiffer binding would have accommodated better.

Hometown Hero is the only board I’ve seen literally snap in half…
T. Rice Pro and Skunk Ape from Lib-Tech are my boards of choice for all-mountain riding

It’s been a few years since I was a Madden try hard but I watched like hours of videos to 1 know what to read when I’m on offense and 2 know what to pick when I’m on defense, I will say defense can get insanely detailed and very very complicated but for a simple understanding these guys nailed it on the head and to be even simpler, a lot of teams will run a motion to see if someone follows them, or really read the safeties and corners they will usually give it away, for the corners if they’re staring at the receiver a good chance they’re in man because they’re either mirroring them(copying their steps) or they’re pressing them(pushing them at the line of scrimmage) and obviously need to have their eyes on them and if they’re looking in the backfield probably in zone because they’re trying to read the qb and rb and just kinda holding their zone but obviously not always but it’s a decent rule, then reading the safeties usually gives away the cover, 1 safety back usually cover 1 or 3, 2 safeties back cover 2 or 4, to tell you’d wanna look at the corners because the corners drop in cover 3 and 4 but stay up in cover 1 and 2, so to just kinda really understand it count how many people are in the back and look at the people guarding the receivers and it will give you a good enough guess without getting into all the crazy stuff

Surprised to see the harpoon on any list thats thats not "worst snowboards of all time" rode it last season for a week as a trial and was actually devastated that a board designed and hailed to compete with all mountain hypetrain boards like the Orca, felt like a very heavy dead turd, soggy with limited pop and to much hinge in the middle to drive it properly, it was also really heavy compared to competing boards like a Warpig or the Gremlin that I was testing that same week. Even having it on the same list as a Gremlin feels like an insult to Mervin who finally got his wacky camber profile to work as intended for the first time with that board, creating his first groundbreaking deck. Even compared to other boards in the very limited NS lineup it sucks balls.
There's always gonna be that one board we can't ride or hate for whatever reason. The Harpoon is a favorite among NS riders. It's got a cult following, so you hating it isn't gonna change that.
@@Chaugar Having ridden many neversummer boards over the years, I feel that the entire user base is essentially a cult following. There is a reason they haven't gained the popularity and following of other less niche brands and the reason i am surprised to see it on this list is that board achieve has the opportunity to ride the best of them, but chucks in this outlier at the top for no apparent reason other than him being a local?
I am thinking Abt the getting the Jones stratos I got a lib tech T rice pro and the new mega mercury capita the capita is a fast ass board love it first capita I ride n so far love it
There is new cult board called valhalla 😂 trust me you will be disappointed ;) -same feeling heavy, but for vikings for sure
