Baines Baobabs are located in Nxai Pan National park in Northern Botswana. It’s around 13 hours’ drive from Johannesburg in South Africa, 10 hours from Botswana’s capitol Gabarone and 3 hours from Maun. The closest town if you’re coming from the South is Rakops.

Hi Chris, awesome video, thank you! I’m planning a trip and thinking of doing 2 nights South camp in Nxai but after watching this I’m thinking of adding a night at Bains (taking away from our night at Kubu as we have been there). What would you suggest, one or the other or both with just one night at Bain’s? We will be coming from Rhino sanctuary:) tx so much
