DG Overlanding recently camped at The Mazhou Camping Site in Mapungubwe National Park.
Lovely shady campsite.
Electricity, water, hot showers, clean ablutions.

Hi there. Thanks for this review. Please can you include pictures and information on proximity to nearest waterhole, river and any info in the splash pool at the campsite as indicated on the SANparks website. Not much info there on the pool.

No splash pool at the campsite when we camped there!

Just as well its Electricity as we would have a problem with Solar Panels for our Summit Everest Trailer Done up for Solar with 2 x Deep Cycle Batteries (Tsendze , Rooiputs Polentswa etc) and sun if there was no Power >> Magic Site = Bucket list

Hi Peter. Yes we really enjoyed the site. I looked up the Everest Trailer on the web - looks like a fantastic trailer - enjoy! One of my batteries stopped working on our last trip, so thank goodness for the electricity.
