Hard not to love a Z. Much like Corvette, Mustang etc. They'll always have that cool factor. I hope colored interiors make a comeback. I'm so tired of black.
Guys, love that you do the actual measurements, and the actual sound level readings, but it would be nice if you had the instrumentation to do 0-60 acceleration, and 1/4 mile times for comparison
Great review gentleman! Keep up the solid work. I like the addition of resale and reliability. Love the blue color and blue interior. The gas refill door looks huge though.
The previous Z-car models were named using the displacement of the engines in liters, not the engines' horsepower! The 240Z has an engine displacement of 2393 cc, rounded out to 2.4 liters.
Went looking for one in January. None of local dealers had the sport or the performance in stock. Their websites said “in transit.” Could not wait. Ended up getting a Genesis G70. Yes it’s a 4 door, but I was shopping for a GT car - which I believe is the Z. Yes the Z is sporty, but seem more GT then sports car. Love the vented seats in the G70. My thinking is, get a car that makes you want to drive. Anyways, in mid June I saw for the first time a Z on the road. Then a week later a Lotus Emira. Amazing when the Z has supposedly been out since at least last Fall.
Definitely needs a frameless mirror lol. Wish Nissan gave it an updated special key fob instead of just putting a z badge on that 20 year old Nissan key.
I saw a white one, and from the front, it doesn't look good. I"m still not over how bad they screwed it up. Probably would look better in black to hide the front bumper.
Drew hope you see this! Plz don’t sit right behind exhaust pipes to see how they sound. Just leave the mic there and get out of the way. Does not look like you hold your breath, so your breathing in exhaust bursts for literally dozens of cars a year. You guys the best reviewers, want you both to live long lives!

Next time you review a 2 seater, can Mason, who does the second part of the intro, sit in passenger seat, stand up to say his part, then sit back down in passenger seat, so you both can pull off together, like you do in your other videos? Love love your videos. Been a subscriber since 2019. 😇😇
Waited for these to come out before getting a new car. Compared it against the Camaro, Challenger/Charger (scatpack), Supra, and Mustang GT. For a daily, Mustang GT beats them all. Camaro is better as a track car and the challenger and charger are way too boaty and floaty. Supra is overpriced because it's a BMW. The Z is wildly overpriced when that's the competition.
Agreed. This is a 35k vehicle all day and they'd all be sold out if they priced it right. Meanwhile, all the dealers near me refuse to let us do test drives without buying it first lolol and they wonder why they've not been selling them.
@@lolcow_president I'm 47 if you must know, but if it is regarding ride, it's softer in my base model. It's not punishing, though it is stiffer than a camry or something
Great review as always, but unfortunately this car is a very flawed. The front seats are goofy with the electronic controls on the inside and manual controls on the outside. Seriously? Would have been better off just putting in high quality manual seats with normal levers on the outside. Next, 13:32 if you are not going to put rear seats, at least put a usable shelf for your dog or packages. Running that awfully designed center console all the way to the back does nothing to make the car more usable. Next, why didn't Nissan put a removable Targa top or T-tops like the old Z's had? They got lazy and didn't even take the time to design and open air experience. Where are the front fog lights? Why the cheap hood prop? This car missed the mark.
The Supra is better in every way. Nice interior that doesn’t look like a 2002 ricer. Faster. Better handling. Way cooler looking. Better brakes. Better engine. Better trans.

I have always liked the Z. And I have always wanted a black 1990 300 ZX. But I do like this new generation.

I bought a sport. The cloth seats are comfortable and padded, but the bottom is a bit narrow if you are bigger

They didn’t like them at first. It’s not good looking in the front at all. They botched it. Only the taillight area looks good.

Nissan has had some great designs over the years. For a Z, this styling is mediocre. The front end is just plain boring.
