Gonna be fitting one of these kits to my 1994 Lantis Type-R (aka 323f V6). Replaced the original bushings with OEM ones a few years back, but they still get soft when hot and it's way too easy to miss shifts, especially 5th to 4th.

Are you still at Corksport? Wondering if you guys will re-telease the 2.5 inch downpipe for the mazdaspeed Proteges (or any turbo modified proteges)? If not, can you vouch for it 😅
Haven’t worked there for a few years. They briefly brought up the idea of heritage parts but they never actually moved forward with it. They will probably never rerelease anything for it unfortunately.

ive got an ‘03 protege 5 i bought for a couple grand that came with a terrible ebay intake, any good alternatives youd recommend?
There is the AEM, K&N, and and injen. But they are all a few hundred dollars. I had a eBay one when I was NA. But if you find any of the ones listed above for a good price go for one of those!
Hey man new subscriber here, I’m currently 19 boutta turn 20 next month and I still have my first car a 98 Protege LX. The other day some moron cut me off wrecked the front end. So I’m currently looking for a new car I’ve always been interested in the Protege 5 to carry on my Mazda line🤣 would you recommend it?
If you really like your current protege then it’s a great car that’s very reliable and easy to fix. It’s not the fastest car but it’s is very fun. So if you find one for a good deal then I would say go for it!

It’s only 130hp, I kinda view this car as a fwd hatchback Miata. You can always turbo it down the line and that will change the car a lot!

How much for the shifter bushing?
$39 for the 3rd link kit, and $49 for the other kit! There is someone who sells a similar kit in the forums for a competitive price also!
